  Solved the problem.

  Skype does not choose the speakers or a decent microphone by default during installation.

  Things to check / consider:

  You have the audio problem with just the only person on Skype or anyone?

  Each of you fact the echo123 successfully test?

  Do you have each tested with other contacts in your list?

  Have you tried to totally remove (delete) your installation of Skype on your computer and the redownloading and installing?  This will not harm your "contacts" list, or settings - they are retained in your account.

  You are on the latest version of Skype?  Go to help > check for updates

• problem with audio from sequences of gopro hero 2

  have a few gopro footage im trying to change.  play the gopro raw files in media player sound works perfectly well.  However, if I use pp or pp cc cc 2014 there no audio data not just whistle.  Ive tried to convert cineform avi files and same thing, audio plays fine in media player, but not in pp.

  only way to get the audio to work had to import into AfterEffects and export the file in mp3 format.  load the mp3 in the vid in pp and return to work.  TIA

  Welcome on the site of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.  I suggest you try these methods

  Method 1:

  1. drag a copy of the video on the audio / music.

  2. her completely to the left on the track.

  3. right click / Mute the Audio track... now the audio will be separated from the video but still play correctly.

  Method 2:

  I bought a Dv6z at costco and audio from windows media player has been cutting frequently when changing songs. Media Player looks as if he's playing but no sound headphones or speakers. I went back this computer and bought a select edition because the price was not very different and the computer was better.
