Citing the addressbook

Hello

I would like to invoke an application of address book for a contact in "view" mode, as well as a mode of display (net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.CalendarArguments.ARG_VIEW) that is available for the call for a calendar app. Only two modes available to call an address book application are ARG_COMPOSE and ARG_NEW (from net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.AddressBookArguments)

I also watched methods 'choose' in net.rim.blackberry.api.pdap.BlackBerryContactList, but this is for the user to choose a contact or a PIMItem, as its name suggests, but does not display the address book with contact in the hand. Just to let you know, I use the following code to call the address book application.

net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.Invoke.invokeApplication(net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.Invoke.APP_TYPE_ADDRESSBOOK, newnet.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.AddressBookArguments(net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.AddressBookArguments.ARG_COMPOSE, contact));

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated a lot.

    Hi all

    I looked online and found this question popping up but without a clear solution.

    I have reduced API hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg_criteria to a minimum and still can't seem to update my existing assignment. I use all the current values on the assignment so I know that all values are valid and configuration. Also, I checked and my people flexfield group is enabled and allowing the dynamic insertion. I also ran:

    Select ('sessionid'), SYSDATE USERENV

  • citing the camera with the parameter?

    Hello

    I want to take a picture with a specific resolution like 640 x 480, so it is possible to control the camera with a program?

    Are there ways to pass arguments as arguments of the camera at the request of invoke. can I specify the file name as argument so that it can be saved automatically.

    Suggestions in this regard will be helpful.

    The only way I found was citing without arguments like that

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_CAMERA, new CameraArguments());

    You can use ARG_CAMERA_APP or ARG_VIDEO_RECORDER to create a new instance of CameraArguments for the camera app or application of VCR.

  • TB has worked fine until yesterday when I needed to send a message to more than 100. I divided the AddressBook into pieces and sent about 50 when TT502 came.

    I use TB 31.7.0, PC Windows 7. Had no problems until now. I divided the 100 addresses in groups of about 20 and sent to 3 groups. The 4th was wrong and I got the message: "too many recipients, TT502. I cut down the number of addresses, but the problem persists. I can't send all messages now, even to a single recipient. So I have a problem that does not reset when tuberculosis is turned off and restarted. Incoming is fine but I can't answer. Any ideas?

    Looks like you reach the limit of the sending of your provider. Of course sending for 1 person isn't too unless your provider has a hourly or daily limit and cut you.
    Given that the error has an associated server code the error came from your server vendors. Thunderbird would have nothing to do with it.

  • Citing the BlackBerry map using address to find

    I'm trying to find a code example for call BlackBerry address card. I checked the page http://developer.blackberry.com/native/documentation/cascades/device_platform/location/sharing_integ... , but I couldn't find a sample where the cards are called simply by giving the address busineess since the native application.

    Any help will be really appreciated...

    I have found the solution (I hope it will work for almost any situation)

    MapInvoker has a "searchText" property that is normally used with LocationMapInvoker or RouteMapInvoker to search for specific things like music or pizza after giving the coordinates (longitude and latitude). now without any parameters, just setting "searchText" with address and call LocationMapInvoker.go (), it will show the address of the card

  • Citing the calendar in day of the week (Mon, Mar, sea etc)...

    Hello

    How to invoke the native calendar to a specific day of the week, as Monday.

    If today is Monday call for Monday, if today of call Tuesday to next Monday, etc.

    You're right, official docs seems to be inaccurate, it must be:
    Action: "bb.calendar.OPEN."
    MIME: "text/calendar".
    Data : '? "view annex = & date = MON Jul 20% 2027% 202015.

    'view' application works and will actually view day but date of query does not work, although I respected the date format required in this doc:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/documentation/device_platform/invocation/calendar.html

    I tried with a few different date format but cannot make it work.

  • Citing the phone to dial a number

    I'm trying to dial a phone number of my app running on my BB Z10. I was able to launch the phone application and bring it to focus, but it does not dial the number. I have tried the following to dial in number 9999:

    navigator_invoke_invocation_create (& iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_id (iRequest, '1');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_action (iRequest, 'bb.action.DIAL');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_type (iRequest, 'application/vnd.blackberry.phone.startcall');

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_data (iRequest, data.c_str (), data.length ());

    navigator_invoke_invocation_send (iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_destroy (iRequest);

    I also tried sending as URI instead of the data :

    navigator_invoke_invocation_set_uri (iRequest, ' data : //local?number=9999 ");

    navigator_invoke_invocation_send (iRequest);

    navigator_invoke_invocation_destroy (iRequest);

  • Citing the native SMS

    Hi all

    I developed a small application in blackberry jde 4.7. I invoke the native client SMS and I want my application to die after that I have to call the sms client. But when I click on send, the message is sent successfully and it takes me to the Inbox.

    But after the if I hit the ESC key, nothing happens and crashes just the sms application.

    I tried to hit the end button, and I struck my request once again. But in the debugger, I get the message that my application is already running.

    I tried a work around and implemented outboundmessagelistener to close the application when the Send button send is reached.

    But the problem is sometimes the listener is added successfully and sometimes not. I tried various autour works and even tried through a midlet (but which causes a problem different http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Invoking-SMS-in-a-midlet/m-p/508823#M103011 ).

    Is anyone have a work around? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    I discovered a way to solve the problem. In the documentation, they gave as it will lift

    the 'operation error cannot perform a client connection' if its open as a client connection. For example: the number. So I changed the way I gave below (and this becomes a connection to the server and no error )

    MC MessageConnection = (MessageConnection)Connector.open("sms://:0");

    But I wonder why this code did not produce any error in other d but 4.5. I also see something weird to 8300.

    Thanks jCarty for helping me
