Classic FDM: account of logic

Hi all

There is an option to export the accounts of logic for excel files.

Is there a function to import the accounts of logic to a new group of logic or update the existing group of the logic of the exported excel?

Thank you

Yes. To export just use export to Excel option present on the logic of group/accounts. Then import using the import XLS option in the Tools menu.

  • FDM: Matter of logic accounts

    Hi all,

I made a logical group with several accounts of logic and it works very well. The problem knows if it is possible to remove the original loaded data, I mean, I want to just validate the mappings of accounts of logic, but I don't want the original data. Someone knows how to fix this? I was watching in FDM admin guide but I have found no answer.

    Thanks and regards

If you follow the suggestions of the admin guide, your logic of accounts must be prefixed with an "L", you can map the accounts not logical to 'Ignore' and map accounts from logic to the target HFM member.

I'm trying to create a logical group for her and put a simple script function in the value/Exp filed. I'm on the right track? Somehow I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

If you want to follow the approach with the logical group you must create logic two accounts, one for accountability and other assets. Then, you can use Fun operator and the following value/Exp:

LAcc_Liab: If CURVAL => 0 result then = CURVAL Else Result = "Skip" End If

    LAcc_Asset: If CURVAL< 0="" then="" result="CURVAL" else="" result="Skip" end="">

Then in your mappings, you can map two accounts of logic to your specific target accounts.

You can choose simple/complex group based on your requests, but if they refer only to the account, you can use Simple.

    I hope this helps.

  • Accounts question: logical operator

    Hi all

When I select 'Function' in the menu drop-down menu in the drop-down list box operator on the screen of the logical group of FDM 11.1.3, I get the following error:

The operator must be between 1 and 5 characters.

    Why this error is coming?

I use a type of simple logical group.
I created a simple logic account to map to an account only source in my file to the input source.

    Is this a bug?
Anyone of you has this encountered as well?

  • Groups of logic: how * not * to the source map, but only accounts of logic resulting?

I have a source account we'll call A100. This account must be 'cut', such as parts go to new logic represents, based on the mapping of arithmetic and then be mapped to various accounts targets.

Once completed, the entire amount of A100 will have been posted, so if I have A100 map as well, I'm doubling the value will the target accounts.

So, is it possible not to map a source account?

    Thank you

    Hello

Unfortunately the mapping is a requirement of FDM. What you can do is to match the article on "ignore."
Any line that contains the word "Ignore" will ultimately not be written in the. DAT file during export.

  • Map of multiple accounts for an account of the logic

    Hello

I want to map accounts to an account of logic in the mapping of account dimension table, but the account of the logic I created does not appear in the mapping table. You know the reasons?

    Thank you very much.

    CW

I'm confused. In the mapping definition logic account account you have defined will be never defined as a source, as it is a construction of FDM and is not present in your target system, you can map to an appropriate target account. In the definition of account of your logic, you have have to specified 3 accounts you want to aggregate and the logic of multiply the value by 1000. It is then you will map the account of logic on behalf of relevant target system in the form of account mapping and as such will fill the correct value

  • to access the properties of the account of HFM of FDM

    Hi Experts,

I need your help. I have a requirement in which I need to access account properties HFM of FDM.

Can you please if there is a way/function/api through which I can access account properties of FDM dimesion HFM?

    Thanks in advance.

    What is FDM or FDMEE?

In the classical FDM, the API adapter had functions to retrieve the properties of metadata HFM.

In the classic FDMEE you create your own solution as using SQL queries to retrieve the properties you need, or by using the API of HFM

    Concerning

  • Some sort of mapping data to the account target using FDM as

In my chart of accounts, I have a wildcard character is mapped to SGA_ *.

I want to map the target HFM for imported data account. Is it possible to achieve this FDM in?

Cannot use Logic Accs Drillback required.

    SGA_12345 > 10000

    SGA_45678 > 10100

You can use logic accounts for duplicate data sources. Then, you can map the accounts of logic.

Another option is import scripts to generate additional documents.

Are you interested in dealing with the two records (original and generated)?

If you are only interested in the product, then you can simply add a prefix when importing the data.

    Concerning

  • FDM mapping of natural credit/debit accounts and changing the sign of the amount

    Hi people,

Any help with this would be really appreciated. I know that FDM interpret tracking by Dr. as positive numbers and those followed CT as negative, but it does not distinguish if this figure relates to an expense (account of natural flow) or income (natural credit) account... I need FDM to interpret natural credit account type (receipts) as its flow as a negative and a positive still. For natural flow (expense accounts), I need the balances to be always positive and the credit balance to be always negative.

How can we achieve this MDF? is there a built-in feature or do we add script? Ideally I need to do during the mapping phase and not the import... THX!

You can reverse the sign of the accounting in the FDM account mapping, there is a ceckbox that select you / deselect in each line of the mapping. This is how to enforce the good signange for accounts.

  • Complex logic account login

    Hello

is it possible to use 'less' complex logical operator account built on other accounts of logic?
    Example of

L_acc1 made by the source 1 account * (positive result)
L_acc2 made by the source 2 account * (positive result)

    L_tot made by L_acc1 - L_acc2

It seems that this logic can aggregate only...

Very simply a windows account that has the administrator rights on the server FDM. We generally recommend that this be a domain account.

  • Group of simple logic to operate before the custom import script?

    Hi all

Thank you for taking the time to read my question. I gladly mark this thread as helpful or reply if you can help me. I am a novice to FDM so please keep with.

I have a script to import custom that PKI none assigns to a specific account (substituting any detail PKI). However, now I need the detail of PKI for this account in a second statistical account. I have set up a group of simple logic to create the account of logic that I can map on statistics, but then realizes that the import script runs before the logical group so I lose all details of PKI in the account of the logic as well.

Is it possible to repeat the logical group before importing the script or is there a better way to accomplish what I'm doing?

I don't know how critical it is, but I'm using FDM v11.1.1.3.01 adapter 11 x-G5-C

    Follow these steps:

    (1) remove the custom import script.
    (2) create a complex logic account and change the dimension of the PKI in the column with the value [no PIC] group. This will be what is displayed on the screen to import on behalf of this logic.
    (3) map the original source under the statistics account and the account of logic as the case

  • Validation of FDM rule with aggregate data source?

    Hi all

I want to create a validation rule showing a report with totals of the data loaded by entity.

I was able to retrieve the data from the target (|), system data source (~ ~) and converted the data (""), but I can only retrieve specific rows for the source and the converted data.

Has anyone got a sollution to recover more source (Associate Professor) level and / or converted data?

So I would recover all of the loaded data as shown in the screen dynamically import.

    Thanks in advance,

    Marc

Since FDM has no hierarchies as HFM/planning, so for calculated retriving data you can to create accounts of logic, with the same logic of calculation as in a hierarchical structure of HFM / Planning. Then, this can be used in the validation rule.

  • Uninstall Logic 9

How do we uninstall Logic 9? Yosemite 10.10.5 running. Also have logic X on laptop. There are two libraries of sounds? where can I find them?

Logical X knows Logic 9 and therefore takes into account the Logic 9 sound libraries when there download the content. So really it's just the app you need to ditch that is placed in your Applications folder.
