Click on the box does not not in Captivate 5

Hello

I'm trying 5 Cp after using the Cp 3 w / virtually no problems for the last 6 months.  I'm trying to simply insert a button to go to another slide of text and it does not in the preview.  Rather than stop the presentation until the button is clicked, the presentation continues to the next slide in the sequence.  I've done the transparent button with the text and I put it to the infinite attempts & to show hand cursor over hit area.  I show at the beginning of the slide at the end.  If I click it before the presentation moves to the next slide, nothing else happens.  Help.

Thank you

Jeanne

All interactive objects in Captivate (buttons, clickboxes, widgets) have a break point which must be visible on the timeline.

If your button lacks a visible break point, check the properties > accordion calendar to see if the break after the box is unchecked.  If so, check this box and adjust the ignition of the break.  Maybe that's your problem.

    Hello

You have the same problems with a mouse external or just the touchpad?

If an external mouse works correctly, you can use it to do a recovery install. This can help you to solve the problem, if this just s software.

Not least have last but you tried to update the driver for the touchpad? You can find it on the official website of Toshiba:

  • Click of the mouse does not

I recently bought a computer laptop sony vaio E15136 nine. The mouse was used to work much earlier, but now, the click of the mouse does not work in some parts of the screen. And the problem is not specific program. The click of the mouse does not work in this part of the screen for all programs. It does not in the upper left corner of the screen. He has no problem moving the cursor in this part, only clicking.

    aiyazkhan:

Strange.  Have you tried a mouse USB or WiFi?  The same thing happens?  Also, have you tried to uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall the driver from the touchpad on the site of support for your model: http://www.sony.co.in/support/product/SVE15136CN

Please install all software updates/patches, then reboot and recheck the touchpad function.

  • NB100 - right click on the button does not

Bought a new NB100 which was pre installed with XP Home SP3 - 6 weeks ago. Excellent machine for it's size although a little slow.

Recently I used it in flight and had to shut it down before landing, and I let go to Hibernate by closing the form. When I opened the screen the next day the battery was flat, but otherwise was ok but now I find the click right no longer works. On the opening the left click login screen now does not work so I need to use CTRL-ALT-DEL twice to get into windows.

I reinstalled the mouse driver, but that didn't fix it.

If I plug a Microsoft USB mouse that works fine with the two clicks left and right to work, but not touchpad.

In desperation I even rebooted the complete software system 'install system' that is on the hard drive.

    All ideas

Looks like the touchpad can be defective, or something has come loose.

You must send the system to a Service Center for repair. There is a list of ASP on the Toshiba site.

  • Left click of the mouse does not respond in the office and I could see 2 together (Picture) Office

Weird things here, it's that I can see two desktop at the same time.

    I have attached a picture.

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks in advance.

I got disabling the system restore, so I can't go back to a good version.

Turn off the system restore makes things much more difficult. Your problem is probably due to an inappropriate registry setting. You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. You may reset your password to an earlier value.

Check the date of the file C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\System. It precedes the date when you became aware of your problem? If so, follow these steps:

    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.

    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this.

3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.

    4. Select repair when prompted.

    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this.

    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands exactly:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    8 type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook 5000 - I can click but the cursor does not move

    Greetings,

I have a Bluetooth Notebook 5000 mouse that has a weird problem. It is well connected to my computer bluetooth, and I have all the updated drivers. Since last week, when I move the mouse, the cursor does not move (on the screen), but when I click on (either on the middle left, right, even scroll to the top and bottom), it works.

My guess is that the laser under the mouse thing is probably broken. I tried different surfaces to see if I got any kind of reaction, but none works.

Now the other problem is that the PID (as well as other numbers) number under the mouse is partially illegible due to wear. I can't see the last part of the PID.

Anyone got any ideas? And is there a way that it could be replaced under warranty, even with an incomplete PID?

    Best regards

    Philippe

    Hello Philippe,

    Thanks again for the update.

It is possible that there is a hardware problem.

    Jack,

    Rats...  Ok.

I come to check on the forum and found an interesting Solution posted a few years back.

It seems that the Solution Center requires that Adobe Flash installed / reinstalled.

Knowing that Adobe Flash is one of those providers of free software that make money by offering other free software for downloads and / or facilities - don't forget to READ the tiny text boxes and UNCHECK everything you don't want to be installed with the program.

Internet Explorer can work better to download programs of this type.

  • By clicking on the link does not open new tab

By clicking on a link in an e-mail message (MAC Mail) open FF and directly to the page, if Firefox is closed. Fine.
However, if FF is already running, by clicking on the link only FF put in the foreground, but does not open a new tab, or the link fills in the current window tab. The only way to make it work is to right click to get the 'Quick Look' URL, and then open this page.

This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

  • Click on the mouse does not work

I'm on an iMac ca 2008 and the mouse cursor moves on the screen, but clicking on does not work. No action in any application. Will not open files, no command is executed. Initially, it was casual, but happened to be the worst, now it is complete, start at the stop. At the start (in El Capitan), the mouse moves the cursor, but there is no answer to the click. I went through the first aid standard attempts-trash finder prefs, reset the NVRAM, reset the SMC - no change.  Elsewhere in the forums, the problem is attributed to the El Capitan, or if no GPU. BIOS problem? It seems to be a hardware problem, but I'm no judge of that. Any suggestions?

You probably need a new mouse.

  • New Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 - click on the button does not work so it is unusable

If this is the wrong forum, please let me know. I couldn't find an obvious forum for mice. My old wireless mouse does so after much research, I chose a Laser Mouse 7000 and ordered online. I have download the drivers, follow the instructions for setting up and pressing the buttons, the installer with ALL THE BUTTONS by DEFAULT, reset and CLICK does not work. It acts like I am struck by right click. I tried moving, rearranging button settings, nothing works. When I go into control panel it says it is not working properly, but this certainly isn't. I also restarted x 2 to try to make the problem go away.

It is a defective material, so should I just sent to the seller? That I've already lost too much time on this stupid thing. If I didn't always have a wireless mouse, I would not be able to use my PC

    Windows vista 64-bit standard

Oh, I try the product. I have to enter the product number. It is very very small and very difficult to read, but I can enter the product correctly, I think. But here is the message that I will be back:
