  Ok. then-
  (1) download the Patch 6880880 to my Support of Oracle.
  (2) follow the instructions in the README file to upgrade OPatch.
  (3) now apply Patch 8589928.

• Is there a database of the Group of hotfixes 10.2.0.5 for Win32?

  Looking for Oracle 10 g terminal group 10.2.0.5 patch (patch ID 8202632, thank you dan morgan - I would have never been able to find it using this monstrosity that is search patch Oracle) I could find versions for AIX, HP - UX, Solaris and Linux, but not Windows which is surprising, because I have been informed by Oracle supports the Windows patch was on MOS.
  
  Anyone know if there is actually a 10.2.0.5 database fixes for Win32 group or did I can't sacrifice a chicken when you use the Oracle patch search?

  I checked the history of updates on my computer and all of them are installed with the exception of Windows MRT x 64-April 2010 (KB890830) (malicoius software removal tool). Everything works correctly, try to remove this update.

• EAS console error adding essbase server after the power supply 500

  Hi guys,.

  I do a migration of cube 9.3.1 to 11.1.2.3 via the wizard of Migration of EAS.

  Yesterday, I tested the link and was able to copy it to an application. After having applied the Group of hotfixes,.500 I can't connect to the 9.3 old servers more. Nothing has changed. I can always get a smartview connection and by using the IP address of the server does not either, which excludes any network problem. When I try to add the old server again the console log says:

• OracleServiceXE does not start after the installation of Active Directory

  Hello people,
  
  New to Oracle but competent in general I.T. stuff. Client has contacted saying the role Active Directory is installed on the box Server 2008 operates as a virtual machine. After which client could access is no longer remote server and subsequently deleted from Active Directory. Since then, OracleServiceXE will not start and no response on the homepage of Oracle apex / http://127.0.0.1:8080 / f? p = 4950.
  
  I see a lot of other posts here for a resolution of the problems that led to the relocation of the software. We are OK with that. However, I would check the database of the customer will be able to be put back in place after reinstalling? If so, what is this process please?
  
  We are open to troubleshooting and so if there is a solution relatively easy but otherwise open to reinstall.
  
  We are open to paid support if necessary that the client has been down for a few days now.

• How to skip a line after the calculation of subtotals in SQLPlus listing reports?

  I have a SQL * Plus list report and I would like to break after calculating subtotals after a group (on which I take a break on). Currently, I am to be able to make a jump after the Group of not after the subtotal line.

  I installed 10.2.0.1 on my laptop and it works normally.
  
  After the upgrade with the acutal (10.2.0.4.0) patch, I get an ora-12514 error, after conneting to sqlplus.

  You must start the DB with option to UPGRADE to STARTUP.

  Consult the Readme patchset (6810189) which has instructions complete how to upgarde your DB to 10.2.0.4

  I patched a RDBMS with a 10.2.0.5 10.2.0.1 (64-bit) Group of hotfixes without any problem and installed a gateway dg4msql - also without problem. The dblink to sql server works fine.

  on notes 562509.1 on metalink, the instructions indicate expressly that if you install a gateway in an oracle existing home and you have previously patched oracle home, then you must reapply the patch group.
  
  When I tried to apply the Group of hotfixes again (I disabled the listener and stop the database), says it all the prerequisite check is OK, but on the very next step I have an error message:

  Instructions on the re - apply patches to existing facilities apply only when the ORACLE_HOME directories are running the same version.
  You have 10.2 and 11.2, but these must be completely different and separate the ORACLE_HOME directory. You can not install different versions of Oracle in the same ORACLE_HOME.
  Could you specify which group of patches you applied that ORACLE_HOME?
  If you have applied the 10.2.0.5 patch group to the 10.2.0.1, then you don't need to apply any group of hotfixes to the ORACLE_HOME 11.2, and you should not apply the Group of hotfixes 11.2 to ORACLE_HOME 10.2.

  If you have applied the patches the 10.2 11.2 group OH, then you need to restore the software of 10.2 in the 10.2 OH as it will be corrupted by the 11.2 software.

  If I want to find which is the total sales by city? I'll run the following query

  that works very well and produces the expected result, i.e.

  Now in one of my books SQL (Mastering Oracle SQL) I found another method by using the SUM, but this time as an analytic function. Here's what the method of the book suggests as an alternative to the problem:

  SELECT city, 
         SUM(SUM(total_sales)) OVER (PARTITION BY city) AS TOTAL_SALES_PER_CITY
  FROM myenterprise
  GROUP BY city
  ORDER BY city, TOTAL_SALES_PER_CITY;

  I know that the analytic functions are executed after the GROUP BY clause has been transformed completely and Unlike regular aggregate functions, they return their result for each line belonging to the partitions specified in the partition clause (if there is a defined partition clause).
  
  Now my problem is that I do not understand what we have to use two functions SUM? If we only use one only, i.e.

  SELECT city, 
         SUM(total_sales) OVER (PARTITION BY city) AS TOTAL_SALES_PER_CITY
  FROM myenterprise
  GROUP BY city
  ORDER BY city, TOTAL_SALES_PER_CITY;

  This generates the following error:

  The error is generated for the line 2 column 11 which is, for the expression SUM (total_sales), well it's true that total_sales does not appear in the GROUP BY clause, but this should not be a problem, it has been used in an analytical function, so it is evaluated after the GROUP BY clause.

  Hi Cbella, YouTube is generally used with an HTML5 player, who is a player who does not use a plugin video in MP4 format (for example, it does not use the Flash plugin).

  Now, I based this assertion on Windows, Mac may vary.

  Could you do two tests for me?

  Test #1:

  To verify which player you see (which does work), try a right click or Ctrl + click on the YouTube Player and check the "context menu" that rises. If it's the Flash, there will be a menu short, referring to the Flash on the last line. If you do not see that, if you get a regular menu of Firefox, it's probably the HTML5 player.

  Are what player you?

  Test #2:

  If you open the following test page, which videos to play?

  • The video "H.264/MP4" play?
