  We cannot move the operating system from one hard disk to another. However, we can install the operating system on another hard drive or take the whole operating system if necessary system image backup.

  You can use Knoppixhttp://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html with a good ISO as Copier: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm as well as a blank CD (made on a different computer).  This should give you sufficient access to the Vista system 'dead' (if you can not get in any other way) backup/transfer your important data (like everything else you mentioned) to the one you use (an external hard drive, flash player,...). You will not be able to save your settings or your programs because they require the enforcement system to use easy transfer and regular functions copy and paste will do the trick. If Knoppix doesn't work, try slaving the hard drive to another computer, and then after the data you want to save it.

I got the OS to the factory setting thinking that it would be re - format the hard disk for the installation of 2 original score. No luck. I need help!   By reading your description, why don' t you consider to use a third-party partition management tool to help you manage your disks? There are free programs that work.
