Close the stabilization on Alpha 7mk2 when using the tripod?

On my previous camera, we were advised to cut objective of stabilization when using a tripod for a long (> 1 sec) exposure because stability can cause vibrations. Is this also the case on the Alpha 7mk2? Stabilization of the device must be switched off when you use a tripod?

Altogether.

  • No conservation of alpha channels when using Image Processor Dr.Brown Pro.

    Version: Photoshop CS5

    Platform: PC

    Tool/Script: Dr.Brown Image Pro processor

    Question:

When you use this tool to save the .psd or .tga as .tga files files, .tga file does not retain the alpha channel...  Which means that the source file has an alpha channel works, but it is not present in the file generated by Image Processor Pro.  I have been by ticking the 'Alpha channel' on the interface of the IPP and tried various permutations of the other settings (I of course fully understand).  I don't know what else to try, so I hope someone here can offer some insight.

    Context:

I develop a game to a Publisher that requires the .tga file format (must be 32 bits/pixel) for images independently.  I created all the .psd and files later .tga I need, but it turns out that given the amount of image files, I need to resize to reduce the overall size of the game (and the alpha channel must be maintained, in order to facilitate the transparency of the image).  Since there are hundreds of images to perform this task to, I'd really like to avoid do manually, because I left the ~ 1 week before my deadline for the demo and want to focus on other aspects of the game.

Thanks for reading, any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Is it safe to use keyboard if I put the microfibre cloth on top of the keypad cover when I close the mac? (mac pro retina display)

    Hi all.

I use Kuzy keyboard cover on my mac pro retina display.

I read that Apple does not recommend to use the keypad cover when you close the mac of retina display.

So I wonder if it would be dangerous to use key cover if I put the microfibre cloth on top of the keypad cover when I close the mac?

In this way, would the retina display not scratched by a keyboard cover?

Please share an idea about it, thank you.

It is not only the possibility of a scratch, but also that the MacBook Pro retina are very thin. Adding a keyboard cover and a cloth could lead to damage and it closes does not correctly. I have personally not use either on my rMBP.

To activate the thin design of MacBook Pro with computers of Retina display, the distance between the screen and the top box is designed to close tolerances. Do not use palm rest covers or covers of CAP, because the extra thickness can interfere with the closing designed screen position.

  • When I close the lid on my MBP, it goes to "Standby" to "Hibernate" why?

My MacBook Pro for six years had been working perfectly until about a month earlier, when he stopped to stay in Mode standby when I closed the lid.

With the lid closed, initially, he goes to sleep, but after about 30 seconds, it goes into hibernation mode and to turn on again, I have to press the power button. I then get a grey screen and no use of the trackpad. Shortly after, the gray screen disappears and the machine works perfectly.

The battery life is very good (68%), I have reset the SMC and I have not loaded the new software. The only thing I can think is that this started to occur at the time of the last update of Safari.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Comments or suggestions are appreciated.  Thank you.

    Hello, Spring Lake Bob!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reviewing your post, I understand that your MacBook Pro sleeps as expected when you close the lid. Instead, it goes into a hibernation mode that requires you to press the power button to interact with him again. I certainly understand wanting to make sure that the computer sleeps when it should wake up how it should. I'd be happy to help you!

  • How can I stop Firefox closes when I close the last window open?

I had to get Windows 7 reloaded and my backup was corrupted (i.e., I couldn't use my custom Firefox.) So I downloaded the new Firefox and now it closes automatically when I close the last window opened. I prefer that Firefox stay open until I chose to close it. How to achieve this?

Hello 1DKG, do you mean when you close the last open tab? If yes you can replace it as follows:
enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab. Double-click it and change its value to false.

It's still all I had to do to end the session and close all. Now when I restart Firefox all tabs that were closed at the previous session appear on the new page. Did you remove the user.js file because this file is the main cause of the problem?

With the extensions.autoDisableScopes pref, you can control where extensions can be installed.
It is one of the predefined files that define the default values for preferences (you can check these files through the address bar).

    • Resource:///defaults/Preferences/Firefox.js
// Disable add-ons that are not installed by the user in all scopes by default.
// See the SCOPE constants in AddonManager.jsm for values to use here.
    pref("extensions.autoDisableScopes", 15);

  • When I close the tab to review Journal I download WSOP ad on my desk. He had to get rid of it.

When I read the news online of the journal and then close the tab and go to my office, I have a poster advertising WSOP. I would like to avoid this.

There are sites that open an ad in a window behind the current window, which I think is commonly called a pop-under ad, but which is essentially a pop up window.

Firefox allows websites to open windows pop up in response to certain actions, such as the click and double click. The browser does not check the content of the window.

To block the more aggressive, you might consider using an extension of the type Adblock Plus and its add-on battling pop up. (I do not use those myself, and you may have to make exceptions for some sites so that they work properly).

  • How can I prevent the FF when I close the last tab from closing?

FF used to go to my home page, bookmarks, something else when I closed the last tab in the window. Since I restored it FF the window closes when I close the last tab. I could find something in Add-ons but just thought lost in all those that are available.

You can set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to false on the topic: config page.

    • topic: config page: browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab = false

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

  • How do I close the last tab when restore last session setting is turned on?

There are times, when I have several tabs open at the same time, when I want to turn off the computer and would like to see these tabs next time when I run Firefox.
However sometimes also would like to be able to close the last tab and with that 1) closing of Firefox 2) ' close the session' as when I restart Firefox, the default home page greets me, while restoring session last still in activity.

This future change is good knowledge and bitter to acknowledge, but it was not what I was looking for. (In practice, I need something, that automaticaally a click that, when they are available and makes unavailable, when for example, I press Ctrl + W on the last tab.)
I just realized, on my cell plu I made Facebook an app - tab, so I could close the last non-app-tab and exit firefox, and next time, the start page was there with the Facebook tab as well. I remember also, that in the pre-Firefox 4 (maybe) it was the default behavior, right?

Also I was using this: https://addons.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/addon/session-manager/ but a new computer should come with a blank page, and also I forgot about it.

Probably what I really need, is when I run Firefox, the start page will be always the first tab seen.

Thanks anyway, and I take the responses 'not possible '.

Edit: Actually the function of what I was looking for was available in the plugin I mentioned.

  • I just changed to Firefox 10.0. How is it that when I click on my favorites I get a bar that opens on the left side of my window? I must return to my bookmarks icon to close the

Since I installed Firefox 10.0 when I open my favorites, I get a side window that opens and stays open when I click on a bookmark. I must return to the icon at the top to close the side window. In the past when I would get the bookmark drop down which disappears when I clicked on a bookmark. Is there a way to go back to the way that it used to be?

Looks like you are using the toolbar icon that opens the bookmarks in the sidebar and not button Menu bookmarks with the drop marker that opens the menu drop down.

Versions of Firefox 4 + have two buttons bookmark with a star in the window customize.

A single star button has a marker to drop that open Bookmark menu.

The other star button without the marker drop open bookmarks in the sidebar.

You can drag the button customize menu bookmarks with the marker in the window in the palette of the toolbar on a toolbar (for example, the Navigation bar) or the tab bar or on the left side of the bookmarks Menu items.

  • When I go on the settings of cookies and close the window, then I go back and it's still on the old settings. How can I keep it changed to what I want?

I'm trying to let him stay on Firefox will: use of custom settings for history. But when I close the window and come back, he's back on the Firefox will: remember the story. I don't know how to save my changes to keep it on the custom settings.

The "use settings customized for history" allows to see current history and cookies settings, but select this setting is not to make changes to the parameters of the history and cookies.

Firefox displays the "use the custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one story and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that the changes have been made.

If all the history settings are default, custom settings are hidden and see you "conservation rules: (never) don't forget history."

"Never remember history" means that private browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" Gets a check mark.

  • I've updated to firefox 5.0, and when I try to close the window after you open several tabs, they cannot be saved anymore.

In older versions when I have several tabs open and tried to close the window, he asked me if I really want to close and if I want them reopenned for the next session.

After updating this feature no longer exists.

He asks if I don't know that I want to close as many tabs.

Firefox 4 and later versions Save the previous session automatically, so it is no longer need for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.

Use ' file > leave "or" Firefox > Exit "(Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox") If you want to restore multiple windows.

You can use ' history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.

You may need to click the Firefox orange/gray button to see history.

There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.
