  Hi all

  It is a great code to produce pop-ups:

  I am trying to change to include a pop-up of Cluster 3 entries (there are already 2 inputs and 4 clusters) and evil.

  I tried to change the cluster Popup Type definition (one that is hidden on the front panel) by changing the 4 cluster entries to be an entry 3.  It did not work properly (I'll post a picture).

  The steps to modify the code to add a new type of popup?

• Newbie question - Core 1 exercise 7-1

  I started to learn the LabVIEW and I'm taken Core 1 online training. So far, everything is going well, but today I encountered a problem and I can't find a solution.

  The question concerning the year 7-1, figure 7-4.

  I open the block diagram and added most of the necessary elements. That's what I have at the moment:

  

  The problems are:

  1. when I develop "Unbundle by name" there is no element of 'units '. When I try to add a new item, only the multiplication of 'Température' is displayed.

  2. How can I add a specific cluster? I want to add ' weather data in "on the left, how can I specify which cluster I want to use?

  3. something is wrong with the weather data on cluster (the information is 'this thread connects more than a data source').

  Is it my fault, and I'm doing something wrong or something wrong with these example files?

  First of all - excuses - sometimes I jump when writing the answers and I forgot the end of this sentence. The type of the cluster in the bundle name is specified by wire cluster going in the bundle to node name. If you turn on context-sensitive help by pressing Ctrl + H, you can hover over the cluster and it will show the items in this cluster. You will get errors if you try to connect two clusters that do not match. As said crossrulz - you will soon learn about type definitions that will help solve this problem, you can update the cluster in one place and the changes will be propagated everywhere wherever you use this type-def would cluster.

  You can download your VI? (preference for LV2014 or an earlier version)

  Looks like you have wired temperature (an orange wire DBL) to a cluster entry (which will be a pink thread!). The upper right connection of temperature VI that I think is the cluster wire you want.

• State machine, controls, and indicators

  Hey everybody,

  I'm working on the conversion of a VI to use a state machine architecture. In other words, there are several buttons that trigger States through a structure of the event in the standby mode. Two States need write values in the same set of indicators, but the rest should be left alone. Several States also contain a Subvi, which takes a cluster entry. The cluster is composed of about 10 digital/boolean controls. I wonder what is the best way to deal with these two problems. I could use local variables or references, but that seems to be discouraged for most cases. I do not have access to the VI himself at the present time, but it might send more later if necessary.

  You could go with the local population, in this case it should be ok, or have an update-state indicator.

  I have probably to take the easy road and go with local to a simple state machine.

• specification of IIR filter

  Hi all

  I'll have a go at making my own filter without having to use the Express filter screw I ran into trouble when using IIR filter VI and specifying the features of filtering. The entry node 'IIR filtering Specification' requires a set of data, and so I created a series of constants which ENUM and type Double; then I wired the constants to a 'package by name VI' which connects the IIR filter. It doesn't work and I get the error message:

  "You have connected two clusters with different contents. Cluster, a group of items of 0, is in conflict with the characteristics of filter cluster IIF, a group of 7 elements.

  The cluster entry I, I created, is 7 elements with the right of the right type constants so I don't know why it gives me this error. Is there a method to automatically create a cluster with the necessary variables for some such function that provide the specifications for filtering. It seems rather inefficient to have to create some everysingle among the variablesby han and put you labels.

  Any suggestion will be appreciated.

  Bundle by name requires a wire of the same data type of cluster to be wired in the middle of the terminal.

• Missing for DBAdapter cluster Weblogic Congfiguration outbound connection Pool entry

  Hello

  When I created an entry for outbound connection pool in DBAdapter weblogic console in a clustered (1-Admin server and servers managed by 2) environment and updated adapter DB, I have identified only input connection is updated in that plan a managed server and other server managed, it is not updated. For this reason, we are unable to access the data sources for some requests for the application.

  As a work-around if we plan. XML file to another server managed manually with update and DB adapter connection entry, we are able to find the entrance of connection for managed servers.

  Outside work around there at - it another solution to this problem so that I can add a connection adapter DB Console entry that will update the two plan files.

• Access and manipulate elements of the cluster

  I have a group of 4 elements. One of the elements is a ring with 4 data entry. Is it possible to manipulate these entires 4 data based on a condition?
  For example, when a condition = 1; then 3 ring entries will be disabled and grayed out. When not, all 4 entries must be enabled.

  Is it possible to get the local variable for those inputs of the ring in a cluster. or ideas?

  When you right-click the control of the ring, you will have a Create-> property Node-> disabled]

  AS LONG AS you call the command is not strictly Type Def or the cluster that contains the control of the ring is not strictly of Type defined, you can use property "Disabled items []" to get the behavior programmatically.

  I have a group of data that shows the tests failed.  At the beginning of the primary VI, I want to check if the file exists, otherwise create it, and if so, read it.  This file is going to be my cluster saved, indicating the tests that failed previously.

  I use datalog open/create/replace and will have a problem with the elements of the cluster always becomes zero.

  I also try to save the cluster in the file whenever a test fails.  This does not work either.

  Is datalog sub screw the the easiest thing to use here?  Can I use anything other than a cluster?

  In your backup vi, you must set the input operation to open/create/replace "replace or create.  The first time you write, the datalog is created and the data will be written.

  After setting the operation to create your vi Save, I was able to run it and it created a file datalog.  So I ran the vi with an entry error load so that he says historical data.  The data corresponding to what I wrote.  There is no problem with the functions of datalog.

  But there is a problem with your logic.  Why do you call an error if file exists?  When loading, you hope that the folder exists.  If your error cases are backward.  If the folder does not exist, why do you write zeros for the datalog?  Also, when writing new data to the datalog, you must define the operation to replace or nothing will happen and the new data will not be saved.

  When the program comes to the nested FOR loop, it will never come. I put a probe on the data to enter into this loop and there is certainly a great picture goes in. Does anyone have ideas for me? Also, should I try a different method to save and restore data? (It seems that TDMS is not very friendly, unless give you him waveform data)

  Hi Nick,

  The number of iterations of the loop is determined by the smaller table - in this case I would hazard a guess that your definition of cluster matrix (DataArrays.PeakDataArray) is empty - the auto-index entry will see zero element and pass the loop.

  You'll want to index this table of a loop to provide the definition of cluster.

  * edit *: by "a loop out", I mean that you need to use a table of index function, preferably outside the loop for external - you want auto-index just to get the definition of cluster.

  You can simply create a room of your cluster of the indicator and use it as a prototype for entry. See attached vi

  So I created a Subvi for this entry using a cluster of clusters of orders of the chain.  If something is wrong or that you close the program, you must enter all the information again.  I am trying to use a global variable to store my cluster.  When I run the program I would pull the global last data entries.

• How to present the user programmatically with different input parameters based on the choice of the Group of entry?

  I have an array of items that represent the inputs to an operation.  The user is allowed to choose a random order for entries to assemble in the table.  Each element, however, requires different input associated parameters that are used by the operation to define each choice.  I realize that, for an array of clusters, the individual cluster array element must all have the same format, that is, they must all have the same type and number of the cluster inputs or outputs.

  Ideally, I would like to have a picture of the clusters, where each cluster has a different set of inputs.  Does anyone have ideas for a solution of programming would be to approach or to simulate such a structure?

  develop something similar to what is in the attached VI and then package clusters for which the user enters the parameters... I prefer the tabs page, more than the cluster "all settings".
