  I have an internet dongle (UWA-BR100). I prefer to connect the dongle to my BD Player (BDV-E880) for wifi connectivity. My TV (KDL-40EX720) doesn't have a built-in wifi.

  I bought a webcam Skype (CMU-BR100). I have the following problems:

  -It only works with the TV, but since it requires Internet I have to connect the Internet with TV dongle.
  -It does not with the BD drive even with the dongle Internet attached with the BD player.

  I prefer to use the BD Player Internet functions because they are more advanced than that of the TV, but I have to connect the Internet with TV dongle so I can use my webcam Skype.

  Then go to:
  Panel-> Sound-> read-> Select "speakers" tab and click on 'Properties'-> the levels tab.
  Lower or cut the Mic playback Volume to avoid the Larsen effect.

  Panel-> Sound-> recording-> Select "Microphone" tab, then click 'Properties'-> the levels tab.
  Increase the recording Mic volume.
  Also increase the Mic Boost if the microphone Volume is too low at 100%

  Have you tried reinstalling the audio driver?
  Please do!

  You must first uninstall the audio driver. In Control Panel-> programs & features, you should find a Realtek HD audio manager.
  Uninstall the present most go into Device Manager and uninstall audio high definition located in the sound, video and game controllers.

  Then download the audio driver from the European driver Toshiba page and restart the laptop.
  Then you must decompress the audio driver package and should perform a new installation.

  Usually webcam will be recognized automatically. In the past I've never noticed any problem with Skype and build-in webcam.

  1. You receive an error message/code when the webcam opens on Oovoo or Skype?
  2. What is the number and the model of the computer?
  3. Can you use your camera on photo metro app?

  I use Skype V 7.26.0.101 (updated today August 23, 2016) on a 4540 s Probook HP running Windows 10 not yet updated with the anniversary edition. I was hoping that the update of Skype bring my video camera integrated, but it didn't. The camera works fine with other applications and other work with Skype web cams, but not the unit integrated photo. It works on test webcam online sites, but not with Skype. It appears in the list of available cameras, lights, but the small circle rotates just forever. Why is it so?

The camera has automatically reinstalled but still no luck. I then sought an update of the driver through the windows Device Manager. He found and installed an update and now the camera works.

  I have a tab of lenovo S8 - 50 l (Intel x 86) with the new update of lollipop and Skype is not able to make a video call correctly from the operating system to date - is to show black screen where my video should have been. I am able to see the video of the other person, but mine is not available. During the test with my pc by the call of the Tablet, in the Office Skype my video power (from the Tablet) was empty, rolled a circle and there was a sign in the background with a hover on sayinf message something like "user x must update their Skype to participate in this video call."
  But Skype on the Tablet is the last available since Google play.
  
  Tried the same thing in Viber and the device works very well with the video call.
  
  I tried uninstall Skype and erase all the stored data, but it is always the same.

  I have a solution for this problem! You need to install a 5.2.0.61097 version od Skype and camera work.

• Skype Contact not visible in "recent".

  The contact is visible in my "contacts" list, but appears not in "recent". I think that I misclicked something like Skype notification came quickly, but I couldn't read it. A way to fix it? A touch?

  Make sure that the option to display in the recent tab is not set to "unread".
