COA for pre installed OS to disk

I think it helps to have a way to turn in a contract of affreightment for OS preinstalled and get a disc of Microsoft. I found the program builder but that says damaged or no disc work. Is this the same program or if not how a disc for Windows Vista for computers with a certificate of authenticity. It is a system of 2008 that has been greatly updated and modded and suffered a car accident and need replaced bone.

  • How to clone disk HARD of backup/restore for ideapad with pre-installed win8 and recovery button work?

    Hi all

I recently bought a y510p ideapad. It came with pre-installed win8, and I have no recovery CD. I intend to play with linux on this laptop, but do not want to lose win8. So before I have potentially immediately reformat, I think to make a copy of clone of my HDD on an external USB drive. The general plan is like that,

    1. make a copy of mobile on external USB HARD drive

2 mud with linux - and foolishly autour reformat the entire process

    3. have fed up with linux and want to return to windows

4 copy of retrospective data from usb driver external HDD latop

5 return to the comfort of win8

With the help of this tool (clonezilla) will work in the above scenario?

If not, are there any other alternatives (free if all goes well) I could use?

My intention with the backup, is that after that I have 'restore' things, "a key recovery" button should continue to work as before.

Make the plan will cause OKR is not functioning properly. To prove this to get a hard drive of exact size and make a clone of hard disk of the device. Remove the hard drive from the unit and place the disc clone hard inside. You can now play with the disk hard clone to your hearts desire but OKR first test if it still works. Even if OKR no longer work, you can proceed with the installation of linux. Once you're disgusted with Linux everything you have to do is replace the hard disk clone with the original hard drive and you're back to win with OKR 8 still works.

    Hello

I just bought laptop HP Compaq Presario CQ61-424sa, which came with Windows 7 pre-installed and also a partition on the hard disk for recovery. How can I make a set of recovery discs from my Windows XP pre-installed system supplied with the machine? It works ok (so not the repair feature). It there is just so much junk from test facilities in the background that I want to do a complete wipe-out and re - install, but I don't have any original Windows XP disks.

The process to create recovery disks is different according to the model of the computer.

Check your manual for instructions or see website of support from the manufacturer for instructions.

    Hello

Many manufacturers of computers DO still have available Vista recovery discs.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

I have recived portable computer of the Government with windows pre installed 7professional but now I want to format and reinstal it I require the startup disk and product key (my OS is authentic)

If it's a copy of volume license installed, you will need to contact your employer to find the product key and get the installation files.

If it is preinstalled at the factory with Windows 7 Professional, then use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

  • My windows 7 ultimate genuine pre installed on my laptop for over a year now its entry Windows is not genuine how can I fix?

I bought a Lenovo T510 with Windows 7 Ultimate genuine pre installed on 03/20/11.  The product ID is 0426-OEM-8992662-00497. Ive been using it daily for over a year with all of the problems until this morning. When I turned on the laptop I received the message that my copy of windows 7 Ultimate can be false, even though I received an update of windows on 06/07/12 How is that? When I tried returning product key he still came the same. What I do, and how can I solve this problem?

    Your windows is not genuine.

The key of product in use is the infamous Lenovo OEM SLP key blacklisted. This key has been blacklisted before Windows 7 came out and has never been sold.
You will need to buy a full edition of genuine windows or return to windows, your computer comes with that.
  • I have a product key for a pre-installed version of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, now I need an ISO standard for installation in a virtual machine

    Hello

I bought a refurbished machine that came with Win 7 Pro pre-installed. I erased the HARD drive. Completely. Nothing more.

I don't want Win 7 installed on the drive, but I need an ISO to install it in a virtual machine for research reasons.

I tried to download the ISO of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery, but when I gave the product key, I got a response that I should turn to the vendor of the computer and that is preloaded.

When I did and asked an ISO, they told me to download from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery. This seems to be the only source for Windows ISOs left in the world.

So, I run long in circles... infinte loop... :-(

How can I solve this misery?

    Thanks for the replies!

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. ISO file which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options?

See the article for more details: how: what are my options for getting Windows 7 reinstall media?

Hi all, a few weeks ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite (from retail store) that came with Windows pre-installed on it 8. It did come with any CD or serials, and the only indication of Windows 8 is a small sticker on the back that said simply "Windows 8"and door Windows 8 logo in Brown.»

Short time (30 minutes) after trying Windows 8 on the laptop, I was fed up with it and all, wiped install Xubuntu instead of Windows 8. And now I'm eager to return to Windows, although not of Windows 8.
How would it be possible for me to get a key and an image of Windows 7 to install? I don't know where to go, given that the laptop came with no documentation of Windows. I don't have the serial number of the laptop.
