Code 80071a3f when you try to install one offers updates

Windows Update continually fails with code 80071a3f when you try to install updates. This could be an update of Windows, .NET or IE. It seems that the office updates work. I tried a lot of suggested solutions from the pages of support for Microsoft, including the fixit as well as the following steps:

    Hi Jeff,

I had a whole series of mistakes differrent, but thought of the discuussions in http://forums.adobe.com/message/5273970#5273970 would be the resolution, but as you can see by my comment on this subject, that this still has not first solve my problem. I finally solved it by using this solutions all in contact with technical assistance, although I do not understand what we did different, he still was't straight forward and had several attempts to succeed. Still seems to be a problem Adobe must answer, especially with the new CC version and update to come Monday, I bet that there will be a lot of discussion of this problem the week next in the forums.

  • When you try to install an automatic update, I get an error Code 52D. What should I do?

    Error messages

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Windows 7 Forum!

You can try the following steps and check whether the problem is resolved.

This problem may occur if some of the windows update components are corrupt, so we will try to reset the windows update components and find the number.

You must follow the link provided below to run the fixit which will automatically fix the problem if you find problems with the fixit, then you can follow the procedure to manually reset Windows component update.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/971058

Once the Windows Update components are reset, try to reinstall updates. To do so,

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.

    2. click on the settings option to change on the left navigation bar. You will now be on a screen where you will be able to set up how Windows Vista download and install updates on your computer.

    3. Select the option check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them. When you have finished setting options that you want, press the OK button to save these settings. You will now be at the main screen of Windows Update.

    4. in the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer.

    5. you can then download the updates one or both.

    6. click on install updates to install updates currently selected.

    7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you get all the updates you want on your PC.
