  I was in trouble and get this error for days.

  I made what I consider "well beyond reasonable" trying to solve this problem with no success.

  Looking through the Adobe support area, I see that this has happened since at least 2012.

  When you set the cause root?

  Help!  Help! I'm drowning.

  It is a connection error: the download is corrupted. Click Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again.  Signature of the downloaded file is not valid.

  If you have a problem from the download, you follow the 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

  I've upgraded and received this obscure error message in the error log.

  I found this page and followed the instructions (cancel and start over) but it has not fixed the problem. I'm sure there's a download cache file should be deleted.

  At least the error log should include the description of the problem and how to fix it, poor customer should not only receive an error code.

  I've finally sorted.

  The upgrade, he showed me was to HAVE 15.0.2, even if I use CC 18.1.1

  If the upgrade failed probably because there wasn't that nothing of 15.0 for upgrade.

  So I agree now, but there are two bugs:

  1. The Update Manager showed me an update for a version that I wasn't
  2. The error message indicates that this was a checksum on the download error, while he was actually #1

  I also used google to find a page where I could submit a bug report for the probably SVG rendering bug, which was what brought me to attempt to update first (thinking that it can solve the display problem).
