ColdFusion 9 to the task request does not
I have a scheduled task that is running manually - by clicking on the race of the task icon opposite the name of the scheduled task in the CF Administrator and in a browser. However, if I schedule it to run in the evening or even in a few minutes it does not work. I don't get the error messages in the logs. I renamed the folder administrator CF.
I would like to know where to start looking to start debugging it.
As always, thanks for your help!
Don't forget to inspect newspapers to schedule task for useful data on the tasks when ran.
If you do not have these logs, on the administrator.

the Task Manager does not start
My laptop started running very slowly and I can't seem to start the Task Manager. Ctrl alt delete gives me the opportunity to start that I chose, but I don't get an inactive icon in my toolbar. I am running vista Home basic with service pack 1. When I restart or stop the laptop hangs at logging off-page. I also noticed that some of my applications/startup process are not start or appearing in my toolbar. I initially had Bit defender as my anti virus - but he exchanged for computer related. I had the problem with both.
Hi Omanianne,
Please read the following article from Microsoft Help on the Troubleshooting Task Manager. Specifically, look at the sections of the Task Manager does not start, and How to enable the Task Manager if it has been disabled. Based on the other symptoms you have described, it is very possible that you have some kind of virus. Please make sure that your antivirus software is up to date and run a scan complete your system. Please let us know if you have any problems or questions. Thank you.

the Task Manager does not appear when right-clicking on the taskbar
The Task Manager does not appear when right-clicking on the taskbar
Hello
It appears when you press ctrl + shift + ESC? It seemed before? You are an administrator on this computer or is it a corporate system?
If he has suddenly ceased to be available, it's a good sign that you have picked up a virus or some kind of malware. Formal analysis in safe mode is your first line of defense.

The Task Manager does not work
Dear,
I have a Hp Envy 17-j009el with Windows 8.1. Recently my task manager does not work.
I checked for viruses with avast free version, but no viruses were found.
I also try the solutions suggested here withous success:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-Task-Manager-problems
Could be a conflict between avast and driver intel as suggested here?
https://feedback.avast.com/responses/black-screen-after-log-in-Windows-8-Task-Manager-Don ' t-start
Ive also installed Process Explorer, as the alternative Task Manager, but it's not working too.
Thank you

What exactly happens when you try to start the Task Manager? It appears an error message? Or it start & disappear immediately? You are able to open in safe mode Task Manager?
If you wish, you can run our free tool for detection of virus: http://www.norton.com/npe

The Task Manager does not (Windows 8)
Recently got my ASUS Windows 8 and for some reason any my task manager does not work at all. I have Avast and I ran a bunch of virus scans but nothing. Now it was working fine a few days ago, that I have no idea what continues to everything and I'm just a bit of new features in Windows. When using the commands to open the taskbar, it does not open but the icon appears at the bottom. I click on the taskbar icon and nothing appears at all the... When I move my mouse over the taskbar button I can see, but it will not appear. It's like he is completely invisible now and I can see it is more more. I have no idea what to do and I tried clicking and running as administrator but still it even will not open I'm out of ideas.
Hi Anthony,.
Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forum.
We understand that you aren't able to open the taskbar. We appreciate the steps of troubleshooting that you tried it on the computer. We would be happy to help you. This could cause because of system files corrupted on your computer.
1. Since when are you facing this problem?
2. don't you make changes to the computer?Try the following methods:
Method 1:
-Press on the Windows key + R
-Type taskmgr
Check if you are able to access Task Manager
Method 2:
-Press Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC key
Check if you are able to access Task Manager
Method 3:
Run the Microsoft safety scanner.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspxNote: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
Refer (to repair manually corrupted files, see the details of the File Checker process system to find the corrupted file and then manually replace the corrupted file with a known good copy of the file)

The Task Manager does not close firefox already running but does not
Firefox stops running at random times. I'm used to be able to shut up by the Manager of tasks without problem. Now when I try nothing happens. Process highlights and just it running no matter how many times I clicked. I can close other processes very well. Firefox crashes a lot more often lately, and it's a pain to have constantly close and restart to clean. Firefox crashes so that in different websites, or even after I closed it but have not stopped since. When I try to open it I get the message ' existing enforcement does not. But even when I close it normally always seems to remain in the background. I am not tech savvy at all any solution would be appreciated. Thank you.
You will need to get to the bottom of this problem and try to prevent that from happening in the future
- First create and use a new additional Firefox profile. I'm hoping that will result in at least a Firefox that you can close.
Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox_creation-a-profile - Note that normally, the method of closing of Firefox is to use the menus in Firefox | Firefox button. (Using other methods might create problems and there are some bugs of current / recent Bug 845681 & 8537799 )
- By default on XP file-> exit , (other systems use the Firefox button options)
- What you are experiencing seems to be blocking Firefox, although they may often be terminated by killing the Firefox process.
Firefox crashes or does not - how to fix - Sometimes after several Firefox problems will have several copies for restore files, and you may lose some information. tabs removing these non-functional copies may be required to resolve the issue
- See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs#Multiple_sessionstore.js_files
and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Sessionstore.js
Best additional note numbered perhaps exist.
- See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs#Multiple_sessionstore.js_files
- First create and use a new additional Firefox profile. I'm hoping that will result in at least a Firefox that you can close.

The Task Manager does not appear, nothing happens when you select it
It is very difficult to get help. Now, I'm not sure if this is the right forum and place to be. I need help to get the Task Manager which has disappeared from my computer. I click right on the taskbar, and then click on task manager and nothing appeared. Please advise on how to find him.
Hi disillusionedvery,
If you're not, try to login as an administrator and see if that makes a difference. If so, we still have a problem, but at least we know the Task Manager is here. If you have any other user accounts on the computer, try connecting them and see if they all have the same problem or if it is limited to one account. Your profile may be damaged and if this is the case, post back and I will provide procedures about how to fix it.
Try pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL all at the same time and click Task Manager on the screen that appear and see if it works to access the Task Manager.
If this does not work, let's try the following:
Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
, Type sfc/scannow go and let it run. It will scan and try to the difficulty of some of your system files. If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.
While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run. They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot. Answer Yes and restart to run the program. It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.
If it does not, then thanks for posting error messages in the event viewer on the Task Manager (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer). Look in the system section.
If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem. Follow the procedures described in the article. Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall. Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.
Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here. A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.
Do you know when this problem started? If it has been reasonably recent, try a restore of the system to a point in time BEFORE the problem started. If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two. NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.
If this does not work, you may be infected with malware. Update and run a scan complete with any security software you use. Then, try the following programs if you do not, because they can help. I recommend you download, install, update and run full scans with Malwarebytes:http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and SuperAntiSpyware:http://superantispyware.com/ and then run a full scan of Microsoft Security:http://www.microsoft.com/security/default.aspx. If you find something, especially something you can't delete, then after return.
That's enough for now. One of these procedures will be hopefully resolved or at least identify the problem. If this isn't the case, please post back with the answers to the above questions, results of the tests and procedures that you did (including copies of errors if any found), your version of Windows (for example, 32-bit Vista Business SP2) and anything else that you think may be useful. We will then decide where to go was from there, armed with more information and know what and did not work.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Please help with solutions
Hello
did you run the command as advised SFC?
to be sure, on no malware read this
Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php
You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill
If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking
Windows Vista
Using the F8 method:
- Restart your computer.
- When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
- Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
- Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.

CPU at 100% with the Task Manager does not display what makes
I have a new computer, less than 2 months and it came with Windows 7. Last week, my computer went from the status fast trolling, does not without apparent cause. I'm not a computer expert, but I ran that several malware and virus scan does not. The Task Manager shows my CPU usage is at 100% but it only shows nothing running top 10 to 15%.

There are a variety of similar positions on the Internet that refer to this type of behavior, but not one that seems to be a guaranteed solution. A few success report by disabling the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, while others reduce the media files in folders that are monitored by WMP, etc.. You have a lot of media files?

Original title: Task Manager problem
I managed to solve the problem by looking for alternatives. Apparently, the problem was caused by a dat file (C:\windows\system32 folder called FNTCACHE.) (DAT) I deleted and it worked like a magic. Everything was normal again.
Deleted it and the work of all the graphical interfaces as it should. Thanks for your answer, in any case. I just post the solution here if someone ever faced with such a question in the future.
Kind regards

The Task Manager does not display applications
When I hit CTRL / ALT / DELETE to start the task, any running application manager appear. (process appear). Is there a solution to this?
Not all running applications appear under the Applications tab. I don't know who should and who should not, but you won't see the anti-virus or anti-spyware listed.
- The Applications tab in Task Manager displays a list of running programs. A set of rules determines if a process appears on this tab or not. Most applications that have an entry in the taskbar will appear on this tab, but this is not always the case.
