• Assistant DAQ need graphics update during the collection of samples of N

  Hi all, I have a question about the DAQ Assistant. I need to acquire data at low rates (ca 10 Hz). I want to acquire Let's say 100 samples. I join my card day ten times per second. But when I choose N (100) to 10 Hz, updates to the table only once - 10 seconds samples. Is there another way to take samples of N and be able to watch the chart updated 10 times per second the use of samples keep (10 Hz, 1 sample to read) with timer that ends the while loop after 10 seconds?

  When I use the last mentioned way and write data in the file, I always acquire 101 samples, not 100. And I think that's not an ellegant way to write data to file 10 times per second (higher sampling rates, LabView is unable to write all of the samples file .xlsx, with the CT (s) files, it's better).

  Perhaps to collect 1 sample on request would be ok, but so far I have not had an experience with that.

  First of all, read this excellent whitepaper on the DAQ-mx hardware and stop using the DAQ Assistant, who does not have the flexibility you need to do what you describe.

  Don't you see what you want to do?  You ask to taste 10 Hz and want to update for each samplegraph.  So how many samples do you take before you add the data sampled at the table?

  Now, with the knowledge of what you have learned in the white paper, put some (you can do it in one) features DAQmx to start the Acquisition, in a loop For (with this that connected to N?), take the appropriate number of samples and send that to the table, and then out of the loop, stop the Acquisition.  If you use tasks (created by MAX or using the command 'New task' of the LabVIEW project), you should be able to do this with as little as 3 functions DAQmx (I'd probably use 4) and a single loop.

  I tried to save the HF Signal using the USRP 2920. I had an unexpected behavior for certain configurations of IQ rate and number of samples.

  When you set the IQ for 1 M as an example and numbers of samples to 60984, the saved file long empty even after recording over a long period of time. It seems that there is an adequate number of sample for a given IQ there is.

  Hi Bolivar,

  With regard to the transmission continues in a loop, I think it could help you to make a small piece of transmission over until you actually begin the continuous transmission immediately in a loop. The reasoning being that small initial transmission could help boot to the top of the Tx buffer and prevent cost overruns due the USRP device waiting for data and do not get it.

  With regard to the relationship between the right size for a given frequency of IQ, I do not have a precise answer at this stage.

  I experienced the same problem recently and found my problem. I don't know if this applies to other people, but here's what I found and changed:

  I use the Catalyst driver for my ATI graphics card.

  I turned off "morphological filtering" in the game 3d application settings.

  All games are now works great!

  I'm having some problems with deployment of vacation request sample for SOA Suite 11 g and was hoping that someone here could help me. I'm a newbie with all this stuff.
  
  First of all to tell you what I've done so far. I installed on my local machine Oracle XE 10g on Windows Vista.
  I have followed through all the requirements of SOA Suite 11 g installation on my local machine (UCR crossed, I ran Configuration Manager to configure WLS on the local computer, installed jDev plugin to work with SOA etc.).
  Everything went well until I tried to deploy this app on WLS.

  Server SOA is looking for its mandatory application, which is not able to find. I don't know, why the server is by looking at your file jdev for these applications.

  When you set up the field, chose the model SOA of ORACLE_HOME, or JDEV_HOME?

  Nodemanager is necessary if you want to start your WLS Console/EM servers. Since you started from command line, this is not necessary in this case.

  I think that the Digital Photo Frame supports the 3:2 format.

  It's a format that is supported for analog cameras.

  I think that your photos are created in 3:4.

  So if you want to get a maximum photo resolution then you create pictures in the 3:2 format.

  For most all CAMS dig support such format and you can choose somewhere in the menu of the digital camera.

  I have currently acquire the accelerometer data and the value of the scanning speed of the clock to 5120 s/s. I use then the analog 1 d Wfm Nchan N Samp to acquire 5120 samples, then use analysis FFT on it to create a chart of the frequency. It gives me a dt 1 that is a resolution of 1 Hz.

  The question I have is how can I sample the data with a dt 1 at a faster pace.

  For example, I change the speed of scanning on 10240 and always acquire the 5120 samples, allows me to taste two times a second, it gives me a 2 dt (2 hz resolution) when I do my FFT analysis. All that happens to raise the rate of scanning for the sample clock is that I can now detect the peaks at higher frequencies.

  By that I mean if I just scan 5120 s/s with my card, when I TFF, it goes up to 1100Hz about, if I double the speed of scanning, then this double to about 2200Hz, she then reduces the resolution

  How can I improve the speed of update and still keep a 1 DT?

  It totally looks like the data acquisition task mentioned seizes one sample to an iteration of the loop.

  I enclose a noodle dragged out of the main program. I'm about to test the version of this noodle on the production of PC in a few hours, but I would like to hear all the ideas that emerge.

  If the buffer is filled in continuous mode of the samples, you will get an error.  I'm sure it's something you don't want.  In this example, you have provided, you really should have finished samples and has said the acquisition of data to read samples of N.  It is the only way to ensure you get all the data you want.

  In regards to your differences between development and executable, the executable file tends to only not nearly as happening (Debug stuff for the most part), so it tends to run faster.  If you're depending on a software clock, anything can happen (having a ton of little or no data).  That is why we say you use the clock machine and get the number of samples that you actually want.

  I'm doing some AO / DO with a few tips, PXI, including a series PXI-6221 Mr., I wonder if it is possible to progammatically change the sampling frequency at a certain point in time.

  After awhile my program between a low-maintenance lifestyle and he needs go to exit rates very fast just to maintain some default values. I thought that the best way to proceed would be to change the sampling at very low frequency so the demand on the computer falls down, but the default waveforms are kept.

  Is there a way to do this? If not, is there another way to reach my goal? I also thought from another task, that outputs on the same at a slower pace, at the exact time that the first task finishes. However, it would have to occur at the exact time that the first task to complete; I can't wait for the other task to be cleared, the new task to be launched, etc.

  I think that what you want is non-regeneration.

  Try the example Cont Gen Wfm - Int Regeneration.vi Clk - no voltage at the entrance of equipment & output > DAQmx > tension.

• How by-pass iCloud for photos of digital devices?

  I recently upgraded to an iMac 27 "new and I want to spend all my photos my old computer.  My old system was a Mac Mini that I never used iCloud on because the internal drive was small so I stored all my pictures on an external hard drive.  A majority of these photos were taken with my digital camera.  I know that you only have 5 GB of space free iCloud and my photos are much more than that.

  How can I keep my photos on my computer without them going to iCloud?  I use iCloud for pictures taken with my iPhone and my iPad so I don't want to disable this feature.

  Go on your Mac in Photos > Preferences > iCloud. There you can "download for Mac originals" where they will be offline. I hope this helps!

  I posted a message to wonder about the digital TV freezing on my Qosmio problem, a problem shared with many other users it seems a few weeks ago.

  While studying this problem, I used the available program of diagnostics of Microsoft Media Center, from the Microsoft Download Center. When it runs everything passes the test apart from the following:

  First MPEG2 Audio decoder & initial MPEG2 Video decoder. According to the program, they are both inconsistent with the media library.

  Anyone know if this could cause a problem with the TV?

  It is not easy to tell if this decoder is the reason for the freeze of digital television in the United Kingdom.
  I also read a few comments on this strange problem on Qosmio with digital television in the United Kingdom.
  I think that the best way to get the answer to this question is to remove this decoder application and try to use the digital TV without this software.
  It would be very interesting for me and for everyone else to know the result.
