Columns to be registered in the ra_interface_lines_all table in the incoming Interface of the tax?

Hi all

We are upgrading EBS 11i instance to R 12.1.3. There are interfaces to Recevibles transactions that retrieves data from a data file and import of invoices after validation.

In 11i, ra_interface_lines_all tax_code column was populated for details of import taxes. But in R12 tax_code column is not used. Can someone tell me which columns we have to fill in the table ra_interface_lines_all for the tax details, I can see there are many tax related columns. I come from the details of the taxes of the zx_rates_b table.

Which column should be used in this table as an entry in tax_code (or another column) in ra_interface_lines_all.?

Thank you

Patricia K.

Hi Patricia,

The tax value is taken from ZX_TAXES_B.TAX
For TAX_STATUS_CODE, value is taken from ZX_STATUS_B.TAX_STATUS_CODE
For TAX_RATE_CODE, the value of the TAX_RATE_CODE ZX_RATES_B.

  • Empty blackBerry Smartphones host routing table, will not register with the network.

    I want to apologize if I put this post in the wrong thread.

    So here's the question. I sent a request to my service provider to upgrade several SIM's have Blackberry service added to them. I asked specifically for them to make sure that the SIM card have been set to BES not BIS. The first SIM card I try to register with the network does the following for me. The phone, before I save it with the BES server can call and surf the internet. Once I have sync the phone with the company's server and I go back outside to check on her send and receive these emails, I try to control the internet and it says that the service is not available. I have 3G (Yes capitol) service and I can make phone calls. The host routing table is empty and when I try to save the phone it just says 'sent message' but I never receives the roads. I wiped the phone and repeat the steps with the same result. I contaced the carrier because all the Google search I did pointed to the carrier but they swear the correct plan is attached. Please if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    In fact, he should persist with the carrier. But first try to remove this BB to your BES, then by the ResetToFactory WIPE to remove the it strategy. Then run everywhere with the BB, ensuring that you can do all the activities of BIS (including filling of the HRT) before activating the BES. If it continues to fail, then you must climb the carrier and BIS get work before you activate BES.

    HRT and the functions of BIS should not be affected by BES, unless there is something in your it strategy that does. It is not very likely but it should impact the devices ALL active BES, not one only.

    Good luck!

    It's your mistake:

    PARTITION BY RANGE ("CODE_COMBINATION_ID")

    but in your projection of column list, you have an alias he:

    "GL"."GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS21"."CODE_COMBINATION_ID" "CCID",

    You must use the alias as a partition key, not the name fom the secondary table column.

  • compress the blob column to save space on the server

    Hi friends,

    I have a problem with the blob column, in the oracle 11.2.0.4 on aix Server database

    I have a table with a blob of column (containing a jpg file). This table is in a tablespace of 300 GB and storage space is full. There is no space on the server (asm).

    I need to load the jpg more in this table, but there is no space.

    I've read a few articles on tha compress blob type column, but I'm not sure what I should do.

    Is it possible to compress the blob column without going to a different tablespace (because the server has no more space to create a new one).

    The table and column have been created in a traditional way.

    Please, advice?

    Best regards

    Dbape.

    But this method requires add-on EA "Adv. Compression" ($$$).

    OP he wanted to compress .jpg files.

    BUDOKAI

    It is not possible.

    the .jpg files are already compressed.

    IIRC (of my Compression Adv. test) - SecureFile "knows best" and will not try to compress BLOBs identified as JPGs or any other known formats of files (such as .zip files)

    In other words - SecureFile is not the OP no good for the type of data, it is try to compress them.

    Are the only solutions that the OP has to enable it to store more JPG images

    • get rid of the old pictures
    • Add more disks
    • resize images (ordimage)
    • recompress the image by reducing the quality as long as the resulting image is unusable (ordimage)

    That add columns to your table, it is necessary for the audit also. It is a preferred method of creating custom table. It will do no harm.

  • Concatenate two columns and store it in the existing column

    Hi all

    I created a form based interactive report and need help on that. In the report, I want to display a column with label the CANDIDATE's FULL NAME by concatenating the existing columns in the same table.

    Am mentioning the details and the following questions:

    Table name: CANDIDATE_DETAILS

    Column 1: CANDIDATE_FNAME (first name) Data Type: CHAR (50)

    Column 2: CANDIDATE_LNAME (family name) the data type: CHAR (50)

    Column 3: CANDIDATE_FULLNAME (full name) Data Type: CHAR (100)

    If in the case of column 3 that is, CANDIDATE_FULLNAME is not created in the database, I could have written in query to create one using the concatenation of columns 1 and 2 of the column

    ALTER TABLE CANDIDATE_DETAILS ADD CANDIDATE_FULLNAME TANK (100 CHAR)

    AS (CANDIDATE_FNAME |) ' ' || ( CANDIDATE_LNAME)

    Since then, I have already created CANDIDATE_FULLNAME column, I just change or simply store the concatenation of Column1 and Column2. I tried to use under request, but his does not work:

    ALTER TABLE CANDIDATE_DETAILS

    CHANGE CANDIDATE_FULLNAME ACE (CANDIDATE_FNAME |) ' ' || CANDIDATE_LNAME)

    Also I'm checking the code under SQL Workshop-> SQL commands by entering the query below and his works fine.

    Select CANDIDATE_FNAME. ' ' || CANDIDATE_LNAME

    of 'CANDIDATE_DETAILS '.

    but do not know where to enter this code in "The Page Creator" that without creating an additional column in the database my needs can be met.

    Please let me know if you need more information and really appreciate any assistance.

    Thank you

    Verhasselt

    Hello

    If the requirement is to display the columns and their contents concatenated in a third, you can try this:

    1. create a new column in the report by adding code to the selection of the report:

    Select CANDIDATE_FNAME, CANDIDATE_LNAME, "'"CANDIDATE_FULLNAME"'CANDIDATE_DETAILS'"

    2. in the page editor, select the "CANDIDATE_FULLNAME" column and his correspondents "formatting of column" > "HTML Expression" describe what you like:

    #CANDIDATE_FNAME # #CANDIDATE_LNAME #.

    How can I check, it's a table really compressed or OWM not in?

    Hello

    This is the right way to determine whether a table enabled version uses compression.  It could be another property table or tablespace that causes the same error will be triggered.  It is difficult to know exactly without the full table DDL.  If the dba_tables query was ACTIVE for this column, the inner workings of the Workspace Manager would have to set as unused column instead of a fall that could have prevented this error.  This behavior has been updated in 12 c to always define the column as unused anyway.  As a on 11.2.0.3, you can use ignore_last_error to jump the abandonment of all columns of metadata (version, nextver, delstatus, ltlock and createtime/retiretime if history is used).  Then when DisableVersioning is complete, you can issue the unused column from the game DDL manually for each of the columns.

    Kind regards

    Of course, it is possible.  According to what the text file looks like to, you can create an external table that treats the text file as if it were a table.  Otherwise, you can always read the file in PL/SQL, using the utl_file package and INSERT of PL/SQL commands.

    You have problems whatever you wantt?  If so, your zip code and explain what the problem is.

    Whenever you have any questions, please post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and the exact results you want from these data, so that people who want to help you can recreate the problem and test their ideas.  In this case, also post a small sample of the text involved file.

    If you ask about a DML operation, such as INSERT, then INSERT statements, you post should show what looks like the tables before the DML, and the results will be the content of the table changed after the DML.

    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.

    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

  • Hide a column that is used in the custom view.

    Hello! I would like to know if there is a way to do the following: I have a vision based on a table (Configuration Manager - views).  I've specified to display 4 columns appears in the view, so that we can change the columns without going into the database.  In the entry 'default display Expression' under the information tab of the view, I've specified how these columns should be displayed on the user interface. My problem: I don't want the fourth column in the UI at all, but I want this column to be always accessible by administrators via the view!  It is possible to specify somehow NOT to display this column, but always use it in the view? Thanks for the suggestions! Anya

    I'm not aware of any problem with the many points of view; Maybe, except for the handling potential/ease of use of Config Mgr if you really have a lot of them (regardless of the table). If there is no performance overhead, it must be processed by the database itself, and it will be very minimal.

    Terminology of the AAU for views is unfortunately not very consistent with one of the database. In the database, a view is just a subselect lines or columns in the table that could be used in some cases (for example, a user is granted to read data from a view, but not directly of a table) of use. UCM, a view is (also) used to enter data, which is the ability of a Table does not have.

    Thank you

    Sure. You almost go in your message: a scalar subquery . Just put brackets around the subquery:

    SELECT      RPAD ( last_name
              , (
                 SELECT  MAX (LENGTH (last_name)) + 5
                 FROM user_tbl -- USER is not a good table name
                )
              , '-'
              )          AS padded_last_name
    FROM      user_tbl
    ;

    Scalar subqueries in SQL are like tape in your garage in canvas: they are used for thousands of different things and open, maybe 1% of them. Usually, there are better ways to achieve the same results, such as the analytical functions:

    SELECT      RPAD ( last_name
              , 5 + MAX (LENGTH (last_name)) OVER ()
              , '-'
              )          AS padded_last_name
    FROM      user_tbl
    ;

    Still another way is to make the subquery and then join his game as if it were a table of results:

    WITH     got_max_length     AS
    (
         SELECT MAX (LENGTH (last_name)) AS max_length
         FROM     user_tbl
    )
    SELECT      RPAD ( u.last_name
              , m.max_length + 5
              , '-'
              )          AS padded_last_name
    FROM           user_tbl     u
    CROSS JOIN     got_max_length     m
    ;

  • Replacing column values to display in the view layer

    1. I have a table of database containing the values of column as 'Q' (to quit), 'R' (for the race), the status of 'F' (for Failed). I want to show the values in the table on the user interface. I also need to update the column values based on action by the user in the user interface and later committed to DB.
    Can someone suggest me a way to achieve this "translation of value column in the user interface layer?
    2. a requirement more, that's that, I need to analyze the value of a column in a conditional manner and show the content derived in other columns in the same row (only in the user interface for the convenience of the user layer).

    I need to analyze the value of this column and show < abc > in the column X, < 123 > in the column Y, < pqr > in the column out Z actually change the entries in the cache of the OS (since I need to validate any changes to DB later).

  • Add the new column to Admin tool, including the SQL Code

    Hi all

    I am new to OBIEE and I already searched here in the forum but have not found an exact answer which could help me.
    I have a table in the warehouse where to get information on employees. It's employe_id, manager_id and name.
    Example:
    Employe_id Manager_ID name
    1 Mueller
    2 1 Meier

    Now, I would like to create a new column in the Mapping BI Admin tool business layer and add a SQL where to select the name of the Manager.
    Is this possible? And how can we do it? It will work with a new logical column? Where we add the SQL Code?

    I hope someone can answer my question!
    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards
    David

    OK, I think I got it - the name of Manager is on a separate table (or a search to return to the current table) and your thinking that you want to label your SQL in the report to find the name of Manager based on Director ID, you have?

    If so, import the table with the names of Manager in the physical layer. If this is the same table that you already have (but want to search him in the current table) then you need to create an alias for the current table.

    For each new table in the Phy layer, or an alias - define the join (current_table.manager_id = manager_table_or_aliased_current_table.employee_id)

    Once completed, we will on the source of the logic table in the MDB for this dimension, edit, on the general tab, "Add" and select the table / alias that you created in the phy layer. Click OK - it combines now two tables attached as a source - you can then map the name of the Manager search in your column 'name '.

  • Newly added column is not displayed in the interactive report

    Hello

    I have a tableA with 3 columns. In the application I view as form with region as interactive report (Oracle 10 g Application Express 3.2) report.

    I added a column for tableA.Now when I'm refreshing the report by adding this column in the select query, the new added column is not displayed in the application.

    How can I do this so that the added column can be displayed. I don't want to delete it all and do it again.

    Thank you
    Siya

    Hello

    Run the application and select the columns in the report menu interactive action.
    Save the layout by default if you always see these columns
