• Image maps and Hotspots in a liquid layout?

  I wonder if anyone knows a way to make an image map with hotspots to comply with a provision of liquid. Since each hotspots has its own coordinated, when the image moves (grows smaller or more) these hotspots is more coincident with the coordinates on the map. I have now fixed a map with animated buttons and clickable links (an image map with hotspots) to a pixel of 987 and I would do it again is 1920 pixels and liquid. I have the rest of my site works with a liquid layout, but cannot understand the thing about image map and a comprehensive online search proved unsuccessful as have all my attempts.   All things are possible, but it is located on the edge!  You * can * cela by adjusting EACH coordinate dynamically but it would - be a major beast, given the number of hotspots you use, and the number of coordinate pairs each.

  I wouldn't want to tackle this project.

  When I use the image map tool in CS3, I get these warnings of accessibility for the alt tag for my hot spots. How can I disable that?
  
  Also about image semantic map, should not be a Title tag in the hotspots and not an alt tag? I thought that the Alt tag is only for the image itself and not for these tasks.

  Edit > Preferences > accessibility. Uncheck the 4th for the images.

  Ok. So, the answer is certainly: Yes, it is possible.

  The part of analysis, this is exactly what ODDC is good for. Unless you have the license already, however, you may have to go with the product to Capture Oracle WebCenter (large companies), which provides the necessary also.

  Regarding the validation and storage, ODDC/ODC/WebCenter Capture can commit images scanned at several depots, including University Complutense of MADRID (URM can be considered a Complutense University of MADRID with a specific purpose / several modules or components under voltage and configured).   I thank assani, but it wasn't the answer. The problem was, I finally understood, that the "option for generation of quality and preview thumbnails" wasn't on "high quality" as it usually is. I have no idea how this happened as I never change this option.

  CS5 and am going to try the demo version of CC to see if it's worth to change

• Best way to combine the 8-bit and 16-bit image files?

  I produce large photographic reproductions combining my own photo images modified RAW 16-bit with 8-bit stock photos and 8-bit of photoshop work. I used just reduce my photos from 16-bit to 8-bit and then change my image composite 8-bit, but I stumbled on the banding and other problems in the color gradients, I created later in my composite image.

  I want my composite image at 16 bits to get more specific and better degraded colors. What is the best way to bring the image to 8-bit files in my composition and maintain the best quality? Is it good to convert images to 8-bit to 16-bit in PS, before you import it? I've also heard bringing 8-bit images as smart objects? Thanks for any help on this.

  Even when there is no need to convert the document to the item in 16-bit mode is not.  If you need all the layers to adjust the image of the element to be light or mix better, it's better you have two choices. Do not open the file of the item in Place as a smart object layer and then open the embedded object and change the copy of your document.  Or open the target document element all the layers and then drag the document you are working on.

  The second way would produce a larger file of the document then the smart object layer way. For all layers will be 16-bit color. When the layer of integrated dynamic object is a copy of an 8-bit image file only the composite made of pixels of the object is to convert 16-bit mode.  A smart object layers pixel is like a whose pixel raster layer cannot be changed only acted on.  To change the pixels, you need to open the embedded object and modify the object.

  If you do not need the layer, you can simply drag into those that you need.  Yet once, there is no need to convert the document to the 16-bit mode, Photoshop element that will be in any copy of drag layers.

  If you do not have the design view option in a dropdown menu with your Live View, it would mean that you use fluid grid Layouts in DW, where the design view has been disabled. You can reactivate the Design view by changing the external .css stylesheet of your fluid presentation of the grid...

  If you need to convince your manager and to shorten the discussion, here is my statement as one of the members of the APEX development team. :-)

  Your approach is NOT hitting the database for each image it's load!

  Just run the query page to run and return to the HTML of your report page in the database.
  It does not matter if you use #IMAGE_PREFIX # or replace it directly by / i /. If you take a look at the HTML source you report the result page you will see that the APEX motor has automatically replaced all references to #IMAGE_PREFIX # by / i /. If your final image URL request will always be something like

  /i/MO/WebDav/no_image_47_35.gif
  

  If you use Apache, all URLS that refer to the virtual directory * / i / * will always be handled by Apache as requests for static files. Normally, this virtual directory is mapped to a physical directory called \images\, because it is in your case.
  All URLS that use * / pls/apex / * in the URL are managed by mod_plsql which will hit the database to perform the specified procedure. As f, wwv_flow.show or wwv_flow.accept.

  To prove to your manager that you do not hit the database, just to show him the output HTML of your page that it does not contain all of the URLS with the prefix/pls/apex/or have a look on the "Net" Firebug Panel to see what requests are made.

  V29 Firefox seems to be a huge not backward in customization. I need to save room for the content so already I disabled the tabs and combined in the menu bar and the navigation bar on the same line. The url space is too long anyway. How can I change this codec, and which one should I use so they all have the same codec? I have the first cc pro.

  First, you should figure out what codecs are... you can get an idea in Finder/Explorer, but MediaInfo (downloadable for free) is a very handy tool to have on your machine in any case. Open the drag and drop file from Finder/Explorer on it and go to the tree view and it will show you an amazing amount of info on this file.

  You'd be able to get the codecs, speed & size, all kinds of useful things.

  Once you know say sizes of images, you can determine what image size should be your 'base' image size for your project. You can always put the "biggest" files on it, but top-sizing of the smaller files always shows a degradation.

  I don't know there are several ways to do this, but wondering how to combine the stabilizing time Warp and Clip. They cannot be superimposed on the same clip. What is a good workflow to "Flatten" using a term from photoshop, a clip once I applied the stabilizer of the chain, if I can then change the duration of the clip?  Thank you.
