  I'm pulling in a date column and a column of time since a text file, creating a 2D data table, and then I'm stuck trying to merge the two columns.

  For example, I need to take the Date and time the row 0 of the 2D table data are combining in index 0 a 1 d table. Then I need to convert this "timestamp" in seconds. An example is attached.

  Any help would be appreciated

  Do you need an array of strings? Which characters will separate the data at the time?

  Conversion of seconds using the time of LabVIEW from 12:00, January 1, 1904 is pretty straighforward well that is correctly time and seconds dividers can be difficult. Conversion at any time requires more effort.

  I have 6 scripts (written by Luke and Robert) who are used to extract information of the box of ESX as shown below. I want to combine the scripts into a single and output in excel. I have a csv file with names of servers esx in it. The combined script should take the entry of the name of the csv esx server and run these scripts and export information to an excel spreadsheet. I need a workbook with each server esx excel as a table in it.

  ESX - report.ps1-> extract info from esx host

  VM - report.ps1-> extract info VM

  Teddy - report.ps1-> extract info ESX physical network adapter

  PortGroup - report.ps1-> extract portgroup info

  scsiHBA - report.ps1-> extract info SCSI & HBA

  Report.ps1-> info report data store retrieves data store

  Firewall - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  Time servers - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  DNSserver - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  I have attached the format of the expected output excel workbook and scripts.

  There was a bug in the script, the Get-View in the teddy bear (report 3) and the portgroup (report 4) not took into account that the mode of VIServer ran in "multi".

  Which should be fixed in the new version attached.

  The new version also includes the name of ESX for the reports, 7, 8 and 9.

  Uh, it is probably more suited to a table - effectively turning it into a list of queries. Then you loop the array and each output.

  I use a similar approach in the creation of the system of the user messages. Most of my functions that are called do their part, then at the end call another function, I called 'messages '. This function takes all what my function sends and adds it to a message board.

  Keeps me out of a long list of messages - because I could call several functions at the same time. If I have just the output of a message of each function, each would crush the other. So, I'd get one message at a time.

  I'm pulling my hair out here... I hope someone can help to guide me in the right direction.  I'm just learning binary and hex, so please forgive me (and correct me!) if I say something wrong.  I have to give credit when it is deserved, because I use info from a post on theautochannel.com to drive this development.

  I try to control a small indoor RC helicopter using LabVIEW and a USB joystick.  I communicate with a transmitter wireless via rs232 (TTL converted), the Protocol is 125000, 8n1. Each image is 14 bytes 2 bytes of header.  I would like to transmit data PPM (pulse position modulation) which is actually just a 10bits (1024 possible measures) range that dictates the position of the servo, for each channel.

  Byte 3 & 4 are channel 1, byte 5 and 6 are channels 2, 7 & 8 CH 3,... and so on until the bytes 13 & 14 which is CH 6.

  Each pair of bytes begins with "00" (binary).

  Byte 3 & 4 should look like "00 00 00 xx xx xx xx xx", where the first "00" is the header, then "00 00" is the identifier of the servo, and 'xx xx xx xx xx' represents the position of the servo. The identifier is actually integrated in the position of the servo, the bits serve a double purpose.

  That's why it all will look like this:

  CH 01:00 00 00 xx xx xx xx xx (position has a valid range from 0 - 1023)

  CH 02:00 00 01 xx xx xx xx xx (range 1024-2047)

  CH 03:00 00 10 xx xx xx xx xx (range 2048-3071)

  etc... If you convert the binary range, you can see how the second half of the bits ID servo are provided by the range of servo.

  I intend by entry VISA to send every byte to constitute the entire frame, and then I will pause ~ 10ms between frames. However, my question is how the hell should I code this? !!  I think I need to write, take 1 CH for example, bytes 3 and 4 together into a string and then split them back hand to be sent as two distinct bytes.  However, I do not know how to mix my header and the first two bits of my ID servo, which is binary '00 xx', with my servo position (which I know I can write in decimal form, as entry VISA will convert it in binary). Any thoughts on the best way to do so, given all this?

  No, you do not confuse everyone, but I think you might have confused yourself.

  You basically need to do is to create the array of bytes that will be sent, and then use the array of bytes to a string, so you can send it to the serial port. The creation of the byte array can be done in several ways. You deal with 6 16-bit numbers, of which the lower 10 bits are the values of the position of the servo. I don't know what you want on the front panel to look like, but if you have 6 separate (one for each servo) controls with each set having a range of 0 to 1023 (for 10-bit), then you just have to OR each value based on the number of servo. Put all this in a table, add the bytes of the header and the array of bytes to a string allows to get a string that you can send via the serial port. You can also do this in a loop. Joined a VI to show the two concepts. You have not indicated what version of LabVIEW, is 8.2 you use.

  In a single folder, I have many (300 +) files each with two columns of data. The files are named according to the numerical order: File1.txt, File2.txt... File100.txt. I want to combine the files so that the columns of File2.txt fall under the columns of fichier1.txt.

  And File2.txt = 3 6

  4 8

  The combined file should indicate: 1 2

  2 4

  3 6

  4 8

  The files are all delimited by tabs.

  I started a VI I think to be in the right direction, but there is an error in the connections. Could you please tell me the problem with my VI or, perhaps, the season a better method to accomplish this task?

• Combining the paired JPG deposited in layers

  I have a folder with about 1600 images. I would like to combine pairs of pictures in this folder in layers in a photoshop document. The files are named currently something like this: 1234_123-XXX and XXX-1234_124 so the name before the underscore character is shared between the images that need to be combined and the final number is unique to each image.

  Just to be clear:

  XXX-1234_124

  XXX-1235_125

  XXX-1235_126

  So I want to combine the first two in a single file and then the second two etc.

  I've never used scripts in photoshop, so I'm a little lost on how to go about it, even if it seems that it shouldn't be too difficult. Someone at - it a script that does something similar that I could use, with a bit of advice? Once I have the photoshop files, I'm fine with using actions and batch processing to make subsequent changes to the layers.

  The files are images of specimens of butterflies - above and below.
