  I'm now working with DW CC, so I can only show you how to work with it, but I'm sure it's the same way:

  In my German DW:

  Bearbeiten > Tastaturbefehle > screenshot > files > Kurzbefehle +-taste press > change > Ok.

  Translated something like:

  Edition > keyboard shortcuts > screenshot

  

  > Files > shortcuts + - press > edit > Ok.

• DW CC 2014: Cancel allows you to switch between files.

  Scenario: I am change an HTML file with a styles.css file. So I have a tab open and on top, I 'Source code' and 'styles.css' (as the css file is automatically detected and shown).

  Say I change text in the html file, place you in styles.css to change the color, and then switch back to the html file and noticed that I've made a typo and want to cancel the changes to the text. By hitting cancel them (Cmd - Z on a Mac) I am switched to the css file and the color change, I did there is cancelled by pressing Cmd - new Z returns to the html file and cancels editing text... I don't want that! Cancellation must only to undo changes in the file, in that I am currently working. As he has done in cs4, cs5, cs6, cc 2013 etc... I guess it's some 'new' in 2014 CC and I really need to turn it off because it is * beep * ing annoying. But how?

  Edit: The current solution is disabling 'Enable related files' and change the css file in a different tab, but I like the related files feature.

  In older versions of Firefox, I could pass the current and previous tab tab (not before) with the shortcut Ctrl-Tab.
  I can't find a shortcut for it in Version 34. Tab utilities addon is no help, either, when activated.

  With Firefox you can only cycle although the tabs on the tab bar.

  I checked a site of hotkeys CS4 and I find that they have changed the hotkey after CS3 for:

  To open the advanced key settings dialog box:

  1. right click on the Language bar

  2. click on settings

• Switching between the quick adjustment sliders

  I've always used Adobe Camera RAW rather than Lightroom and keep people telling me how great Lightroom is.  I always thought that both programs were essentially the same, but it does things in different ways, that's why when Lightroom was released I don't bother watching it, 'if it isn't broken"etc.

  Well one reason I want to explore changing is that Adobe Camera RAW is VERY very laggy and Lightroom seems to be more keen to make adjustments to images.

  Just one problem though!

  In ACR I uses a Wacom stylus to draw culture boxes, do zoom and the adjustment brush among other things.  To adjust the images I use the keyboard tab key to switch between the sliders to increase or decrease exposure etc.  It's fantastic; as I cursors stored almost in their order, I can look at the picture of all the time and move the sliders around using only the tab key.  In Lightroom however I can't switch between the sliders with the tab key and must watch the sliders (rather than the image) to enable a cursor and make an adjustment.  It's very frustrating and counterintuitive to effectiveness of time I have spend more time to a cursor to click on it instead of simply by pressing the tab once, twice etc. depending on which slider I selected.  If I use SHIFT and tab together that I can go back the other direction.

  Is there a way to Lightroom to switch between the sliders without having to always click on them?  It's extremely annoying.

  I thought about it.  In ACR you need to do is press the tab key to switch between the sliders in LR you first click in a box to the number (one) before it you can use the tab key to switch between the sliders and then use the arrow keys to make adjustments - Hooray!

  I found the place where exactly this may be small :).

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Toggle]
  "Hotkey" = "1".
  'Language Hotkey' = '3 '.
  'Shortcut page layout' = '2 '.

  Change the value of "Language Hotkey" accordingly.

  1 sequence of button enabled; Use Left ALT + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  2 key activated sequence; Use CTRL + SHIFT to switch between locales.
  3 invalid key sequences.
  4 If the default locale is Thai, the grave accent key activates / deactivates the input locale. otherwise the keystrokes are disabled.

  Another problem is that it sits under HKCU as well, same as if I pack this setting with MSI, it won't have a any use to me. Since then, installation is done using MSI localadmin account and HKCU is associated with the current session. If a new user who connects to this settting does not apply, and even if it rises "access denied" :(

  Is it possible to set up a keyboard shortcut that would allow me to switch between open files without having to use the small menu drop-down? I edit audio files that have need a couple of repeat SFX stuck in it, so I am constantly pass to another file to copy, and then move back to stick. Of course if it was only an SFX I could leave it in my Clipboard but alas...  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  There is no automatic refresh of the kind you're talking about in Lightroom.

  You can cause manually the update happen by using the menu command Lightroom metadata-> read metadata files

  Tips: the idea of doing some things/metadata in Bridge and some things/organization of metadata in Lightroom is a bad idea, because of the issue that you saw... programs don't talk to each other, except by a manual step in Lightroom, and if you forget to do this, all of a sudden you have two different sets of metadata for the concerned photos. If you use Lightroom, then use Lightroom for ALL (Yes, JUST like 100%) management tasks and photo metadata.

  Yes, with the latest update, we have introduced tabs in Acrobat.

  If you would like to keep tabs with Acrobat PDF function and want to switch between them, then you can use CTRL + TAB.

  or if you want to enable the functionality of the tab and all want PDF to open in a new window then

  go in Edition > Preferences > General

  Uncheck the option in the tool pane of base, 'open documents as tabs in the same window (requires restart) '.
