  This is just another example of how Microsoft is not in contact with the real world. The other big problem that are domain with Windows 7 users is disabled profile copy. (I found a way around this one) As of today, I will not buy any more portable Windows 7 for our school district until Microsoft gets some of these problems taken care of.

  My new laptop has great features but a much smaller screen. Change the screen resolution in Windows makes it all look terrible.   For once, click once on the slide show, and then click New. In this way you access the first image. Determine the race it and view it in the browser. It should work.

• Is there a way to keep an animation playing for a mouseout/mouseouthandler() event when you start a new?

  I have a few buttons on mouseover that they animate the scale upwards and mouseout/mouseouthandler() they scale back down. This works great except the scenario when the a button on the mouse user then immediately mouse the button following the animation on the first button suddenly stops and the animation starts on the current button. Is there a way to keep the animation plays for the first button AND have the animation working set for the second button?

• Windows 8 can't find my SATA drive (2). It does not appear in disk management, but it appear when I open the tab of properties on any drive and click displays all disks. What should do?

  I bought a new computer (custom build) and Frys Electronics put it together for me.  Disk 0 is a 128 GB SSD, 1 disk is a SATA 2 TB drive, and disc 2 is a 1 TB SATA drive. Readers of 0 and 1 have been configured correctly when I installed Windows 8 but Drive 1 was not found\initialized. Player 2 does not appear in the disk management window, but when I click on properties on any drive, and then on the "hardware" tab, the drive appears.  If I can get windows to find it, I can go configure manually.  DiskPart cannot find disc 2 in the 'LIST' command and when I get in car 2 on other commands that require a number of disc, nothing happens.

  What should I do?

  I ran an old Western Digital (the two SATA drives are WD) diagnosis and there are 1 OK to drive.  I tested it and it doesn't have a writing that test a few zeros.  I thought that it was a bad drive and I must return to the seller.  The next morning I tried the WD diagnosis again and this time he passed.  The app then allowed me to format it and it assign a drive letter.

  It seems to be OK now, but I'm not load all the files on it again.

  Messages are likely to the old identity and you can go to file | Import | Messages to bring them into the new identity.  See also point 4 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

  The account information will have to be put in place in the new identity.  You can switch between the old and new identities also.  If save you messages and settings (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6), you must do it for the two identities, unless the new identity has all the information you need in it.

  I often use the tool/line pen tool and when I have the curve the line with the Selection tool it often crashes on nearby vector lines. Is any way to stop this? In Adobe Illustrator crossed lines drop anchor (at least for me).

  You can use these tools in drawing mode of the object (available just below the color sample of fill/outline in the tools Panel when a drawing tool is selected) where several objects create the intersection points. But please note if draw oneself which intersect the lines then it will create an anchor point.

  Borrow an OEM Windows CD (it must be OEM) and install it using your product key. (You can make a copy of it for your future use - this isn't the CD you pay because it's the product key). A generic OEM CD maybe not some or all the drivers you need you would be safe to download from the website of the provider first.

• Is there a way to keep the libraries Project Explorer to 'save '?

  We use a source control tool (accurev) for storage of our common libraries.  When you pull a library of accurrev to use in a new project, accurev places a lock file read-only on the new library, which we want, we don't want a developer accidentally change their local copy of the library.  However, when you add the library (a lvlib) and click on "Save all" in the Project Explorer, the Project Explorer tries to save libraries that are read-only and barfs errors everywhere.  You can leave all the errors and click on 'save without guests' but it is very annoying and slows down development.  Is there a way to tell Labview is not to save the library, only the screw?

  Unfortunately, no, as far as I know. There is an option for multiplex unalterable screws as locked, but it does not extend to libraries. You can post a suggestion in the forum to exchange ideas of LabVIEW.
