  After 1 hour on phone, level 1 confirmed the message in the BIOS ' disk hard imminent failure "actually meant what he said and had this motherboard needs to be replaced. After 1/2 hour more level 2 certified HD warranty replacement, refused the motherboard. They signed me for an extension of one year warranty with home service for $129.99.

  Quickly sent replacement. Taken to professional it is Geek Squad that tried 3 times to clone the old drive again before the former has failed. Then they tried a clean install from the recovery disks provided by HP and after failed it in these attempts, tried to install Win7 clean. Had this 'new' message (refurb) 1 TB SATA would fail imminent, could not install OS. Gave me some documents. I called HP, waited in line 1 1/2 hours Saturday to report the problem to HP, abandoned and bought new, better HD, had installed and HP recovery/installed operating system - $180. Back-ups and system image I did with Toshiba Canvio impossible to install Windows and Norton, if old hard drive must have messed up the back-ups.

  Called HP for permission to return the replacement HD, but also original failed HD has DENIED! Said they must run a diagnosis by phone, do not accept the documentation of Geek Squad. I offered to send back to them at my own expense while they could confirm that it was defective. Said no, couldn't accept it back until the diagnosis ran (he was sitting on my desk!). I asked if ok to mechanically destroy the data on the old HD to protect my privacy. They said no, they will work revised at HP to confirm it was defective. So I said, let me send you the replacement for HP can confirm that it is defective. They said not until the phone confirmed diagnosis it was defective. So, I asked that I use my warranty in home service on this NEW problem. They said wouldn't not allow as not in effect until Nov 9. I said, I'll call Nov 9, and request the service. They said that it is only determined telephone assistance that it worked. So I said, the extended warranty. They said no, he started immediately after purchase. I said fine, send someone to the House. Catch-22.

  So, here is the best plan I can get to: 1) I'll send my drive down back home so that I will not be charged for replacement under warranty, 2) I will send the replacement drive to Meg Whitman, CEO of HP, memory of my experience with HP customer care, 3) {deleted content: legal discussion} and 4) will be posting my experience on each consumer and social media Web site (, I can find and 5) ask my credit card company to prohibit fees for the service contract. WARNING: this message contains no criticisms, judgments or threats - I just simply my experience, i.e. "what I did with my"free time"and"discretionary cash"of the last two weeks.

  All the other proposals of the corrective measures will be greatly appreciated.

• How can I create different formats associated with DPS 2015?

  I drove to the top of the iPhone version, and now I need to resize to the tablet. My question is, how do I do this in the DPS Portal? I don't see in the documents given to adobe.

  A few questions:

  Your project 1 top-level collection or collections of higher level 2? Select "Collections" in the left rail and then search for either a collection called "default" or two collections called "phone by default" and "default tablet." If you have just a collection of 'default', this means that all of your content will appear on phones and tablets. If you have "phone by default" and 'default tablet', you must specify the contents of the collection of the tablet. This is determined by a project setting that you specify when creating the project. For the moment, you cannot change this setting.

  You want to include a different content for tablets and phones, or you want to use the same content in two? As a general rule, the HTML items work well on phones and tablets, but for fixed layout (at base of InDesign) items, you may consider creating separate articles for phones and tablets.

  Next week release includes a new system that we call "renditions available." When you define a layout template, you will be able to create different layouts page (or "renditions") for tablets, phones and the web. For any collection that appears in phones and tablets, you will be able to design layouts to browse different for the target device.

  Golden rule: make sure that your frames nested scrollable, scroll in different directions. Also, avoid more than two moving images of nesting.

• Apps of DPS for all devices

  I work for a large organization, based in Sydney and we have a creative team Cloud (simple edition) license.

  We produce unique folio apps for the iPad using Indesign and the constructor of the App.  We now want to produce apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

  If upgrade us to a licensed Professional Edition DPS can we create an unlimited number of applications for iPad, iPhone and Android devices?

  We're not a publishing company, so we will produce a small number of these applications.  If you can get back to me with a solution and about the price that would be great.

  As a general rule, the new license allows you to make as simple and multi-folio apps for iOS, Android, and Windows 8 devices. There are charges, then one app costs. Fascia fulfillment are no longer be charged.

• DPS WITH CS6?

  I am part of a small team of 4 designers currently researching what the costs are to get the company to speed on digital publishing suite.

  We are all on the CS6.

  We make the compositions of style magazine/catalog for printing. We have about 10 customers who have about 8 questions each of their particular catalog printed each year. We offer a digital version of these catalogues.

  The plan was a designer to subscribe to professional DPS and test the water to produce 10 multi folio apps for 10 customers we have. Then just create us subsequent folios (June August etc.) and continue to add to the App.

  The questions are as follows:

  1. I understand that Adobe changed the rules then we would have now to buy a license of professional DPS by customer for each folio multi application - is that correct?

  2. can we continue to use the CS6 and subscribe only to the DPS? We really want to avoid a rolling CC cost as well as DPS for the moment if possible.

  3. is it possible to create a folio multi app but just have a folio in it and never add other slips to it? I understand that only folio apps are not supported on Android - is this correct? So this would be a work around I presume?

  4 how much professional and business levels? We certainly need more than simple edition DPS (free with CC - but we don't want upgrade to CC yet). I can't find an official page indicating the figures on how much it all costs!

  1. you may be better off with the company because each application requires a pro

  license. For 10 apps you would seek $4,000 / month with no company

  features.

  2. you can at the moment but keep in mind that with the upcoming release of DPS

  support for CS5 and 5.5 has been ignored and some CS6 point will not work

  with a new o/s. CC also gives you additional applications such as Edge

  An animation that work with DPS.

  I have a few rather generic doubts about the service:

  Is there a restriction on the content? What I mean by this question is that, just as with iBooks author you must have a complete project of interactive content to not be rejected, DPS has a similar limitation? Moreover, there is no limitation to the content? I'd start a publication for a company, which would be mainly to corporate information was updated every month.

  -Once you buy a DPS account (whether single, business or professional), I have to wait until I can start transmitting things? Also, once I have send the project to Adobe, how long does it take to post?

  I know these are questions rudiemntary, but I was unable to find appropriate answers.

  Hi Xavier,.

  Adobe do no validation or place restrictions on your content. The market that you submit your request to the fact. If you send to Apple then your content to meet their application needs to store rules and regulations. Ditto for Amazon, GooglePlay and Windows Store.

  Once you have your account with Adobe, you can publish your content. The application for display, it is subject to delays in review for the market until it's available for your readers to download. This could be anywhere from one day to two weeks, depending on the market.

  Hello. I'm trying to put in place a masking rule 6.3 DPS data. I want to have the data masking rule apply to any DN that ends with o = ny, c = us. I tried to adjust the target-dn-regular-expressions to ' o = ny, c = us$ '. I thought that if DPS used regular expression match, the $ at the end should serve as an anchor for this channel. But the rule is not fired. I proved it by assigning the expression regular votes to zero and then the target dns to exactly match the dn I'm back.   Regular expressions must comply with the Java regular expression specificationa, available on [http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/regex/Pattern.html]

  For example, the regular expression (. *) c = us, o = ny filters out all o = ny, c = us tree.

• Where are my rules of mail under macOS Sierra?

  Rule files are stored in MailData folder in the Library/Mail/V4 of the user folder. Depending on what OS version you had previously installed, you can try to restore the files from a backup rules. Mail was listed in the folder V2 or V3.

  The rules are stored in a list of properties to:

  ~/Library/Mail/V4/MailData/SyncedRules.plist

  Restore the plist file

  Restart the messaging

  You will need to re-enable each rule. Check the destination file as well.

  Which is better to use, rules of mail or Icloud mail?  If I create an e-mail folder of the Icloud on my Mac account it automatically appear in the Web page for Icloud but rules written on my Mac are not repeated in the page rules to Icloud.

  You can write rules more substantial in mail on your Mac, however if your mac isn't on you can end up with junk mail goes somewhere else until she is active, this behavior can be avoided by writing rules to iCloud.com.

  Do a search for the year you want, select all results, drag them to an appropriate folder.

  When you set up a filter, you should see a personalization option, where you can configure to filter on any field in a message header. Take care to study the source of certain messages first understand exactly what format it uses. "Answer to" appears as Reply-to:, so that you can add a custom field for answer to (without a colon).
