  With the object selected, choose Modify > symbol > Break Apart. Then click Modify > ungroup.

  The option button is a symbol; its properties can be edited in the symbol properties panel. You open this Panel by window > properties of the symbol. Then, select the Text property and change the value.

• Free image editing software.

  In my time on the forums, I have seen a few people ask questions about the HP software has never been able to do image editing or is not able to do it now.  Normally these are things like red eye, color manipulation reduction and others.  Advanced feature here are things that you can use programs such as PhotoShop.  Well PhotoShop and similar programs, can cost a lot of money and are not the most cost-effective solution for most people.  People participating in community open source know a program free known as The Gimp, which has more capabilities that PhotoShop has, for some time now, but the general public was not aware that there are still.  I hope this will change that.  If you are looking for a alternative free to PhotoShop, it's actually close to being able to do everything that PhotoShop, try The Gimp .  I used it until I used PhotoShop, and I did not notice one real difference other than the wording used to describe the tools.  The biggest difference is that the plug-in that adds what PhotoShop can do are not available for The Gimp.

  I recently uninstalled my Acrobat X Pro accidentally (experiment that went wrong), and after having a lot of trouble to re - install, I can't not to talk to the other Creative Suite applications more Photoshop and Illustrator for PDF editing. This is the dialog that is displayed when I try to change Image/Edit Object:

  

  I went into preferences and checked, and the paths to the applications are correct:

  

  but they are still getting and just dialogue reappears. So I don't know what to do from there.

  It is a known issue and unfortunately there is no solution available now; However, the problem is fixed in later versions.

• Back to the old buttons from the common library.

  Animate buttons component CC (Ctrl + F7) are nothing like the Flash CS4 v10.0 buttons common library that I liked and used to work with.

  The gap is terrible.  I can't work with or use these new buttons.

  I don't want to buy/license buttons fantasies of the store. Not yet, anyway.

  How can I get a backward compatibility with the components that I know, the beautiful old buttons from the common library of CS4?

  Is this your idea of good business to take useful components and reactive community programming that invests in their use?

  I looked at the components in CS6 and Animate, and they seem to be the same. The Flex component has disappeared, but others seem to be there.

  FW CS4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8

  I just looked at a few tutorials on the use of FW to design web sites, that sounds like quite an improvement in all of the applications. I am using for the last two projects little!

  You do not download the common library. You already have the common library. It is part of the fireworks. Your original question was for the location of the Developer Center where you could upload items to Add . This is the link I gave you.

  There are other places, you can get the library items. Just use your favorite search engine and search for 'common library of Fireworks' (but without the quotation marks). Here is the Google search:

• Question about image editing

  Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me how to put Photoshop as my default image editing program when I want to edit a picture from an InDesign document. I'm having a problem with InDesign open the image in the preview instead of Photoshop, when I option-click on a photo.

  I see that there is a pull down menu links (the command "Edit with") where you can choose the program you want to use, but that doesn't seem to work for a specific image. I wonder if there is a way to tell InDesign to always use Photoshop when I option-click on a picture? Thanks in advance.

  As a way to explore, what happens in the viewfinder when you double-click on the filename of the image, or select and press command & O or file > open?

  If the preview opens in each of these cases, it is not a parameter of the InDesign You ' r which need to change. Instead, get info for the image in the viewfinder and set the "Open with" context menu in Photoshop. and select any title change of "use this application to open all documents like this. • Backup images edited to iPhoto

  I have problems re-registration of the EPS images in iPhoto.

  I've set up preferences in iPhoto (11 for Mac) to use 10 PSE as the editing software.  I also followed the advice of Barbara B on defining the file saving in PSE10 options 'a whole first save' - 'save on the course file'. - but once I edited an image and I would like to save it (iPhoto) I rather gave the usual choice associated with an option "Save as...". ».  To minimize the effort, I then save the image modified on the desktop and then drag it to iPhoto.

  I know that have been covered until I read the solutions, but it seems that the changed image is not automatically imported to iPhoto.

  Maybe I have not set preferences correctly - suggestions?

  Are these files raw by chance? If this isn't the case, you change the type of file or name?

  If the answer to all of those is no, proceed to your username > library > Preferences and delete com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist.

  You need to reset the preference of saving files after that.

  If you are using lion, username > library is hidden. In the Finder, click on the menu go to, and then hold down the option key and it will appear in the list just below the little house for your home folder.

• Best art / image editing / photo App?

  I bought a Macbook Pro (i7/16 GB/512Ram) about a month ago and it will use for a photo editing and a work of art (as well as email, youtube and the usual stuff).

  As support for opening has now stopped and I don't subscribe to "Photoshop Creative Cloud", I was wondering if there is a good alternative?

  Affinity Photo looks interesting and promising (and is only £40 / $60), but I donnt know how well or otherwise it is to organize files and collections.

  I think Lightroom (or what they call Photoshop-Lightroom) is always available as a "buy it and confess" App to about £104 / $149.    It is essentially Lightroom or Photoshop and Lightroom combined?   Confused.

  Personally I do not like Apple Photo, the new photo on Mac management tool.   I would prefer something that automatically looks for all the photos stored on the computer rather than having to import them and it's editing capabilities are weak.

  As I do a mixture of (pixel based rather than vector) art / illustration and photo editing, I was wondering what is the best option?

  Lightroom is a standalone application, it isn't photoshop as well. On subscription, you can get both for $10 per month or similar. LR is an organizer, but also a non-destructive processor. This is the most common replacement for aperture. It is a processor of many more capable, though my experience pretty slow and so I'm in the treatment of the migration to

  Capture One, next alternative to the opening. So far, so better.

  There is no serious photo app that "looks like for all photos", all non-destructive processors are built on databases and require only the imported data.
