  Hello community Muse,

  (My version is 2015.2.0.877, CL 800959 from this announcement.)

  I preface by saying I think that I looked through so many messages lead to my question before asking the community, but I may have missed the answer.  If this is a new bug, I am happy to bring it to light, but I know the issue can be found somewhere between the keyboard and the Chair...

  If you choose to add the alternative line of tablet or phone (with 'Copy Site Plan' and 'Copy Page attributes' selected), the process fails on the home page with the error cryptic "Adobe Muse CC has encountered an error and will now close"... "Can't get browserWidth on RC special [UNUSED ResponsiveContext]"

  I can't find that last bit relevant to the error message displayed anywhere on the web.

  

  I tried several workaround solutions found in other community councils for similar problems such as:

  -remove the offending page (apparently found by moving the error message on the side to see what page could cause hiccups);

  -delete the contents of the page and try to create a different layout;

  -delete the page altogether.

  -> Removal of the homepage, and then by creating alternative page layout was semi-succesfull.  I'm done with a bunch of pages size phone with my site BG color, and that's all.

  -> Same thing happens if I remove the home page, then choose Add another layout: white size phone pages with my BG of choice.

  Any ideas on that?  Something escapes me?  I said something to be reactive, and then make the fixed site (probably)?

  By the way, shouldn't my content at least still be appearing in the pages of alternative provision after deleting the home page?

  Thanks for any thoughts on this issue and at least maybe my post will help others find the error when searching for it heh.

  For now, I need to create just one site, that is why, I think I'll use Adobe Muse for a month, or maybe two.   Greetings from Adobe community!

  I work with Adobe Muse fairly regularly, and this morning for the first time, I received an error during the launch of Adobe Muse.

  I made a few very basic troubleshooting in terms of restarting my computer, raising my Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.

  The only thing I did is totally removed and reinstalled Muse - as I am hoping to find an alternative solution, or see if any of you have experienced this before.

  I took a quick screenshot of the error and that you posted below.

  Any information or ideas on this matter would be most appreciated.

• Adobe Muse (2014.3) function 'Add Web fonts' does not not as expected - newly added fonts become unavailable as derivative

  Hello.

  This has also been posted in the community: forum Adobe Muse Bugs.

  I had some odd/irregular problems but they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The question is regarding Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of the web fonts provided through the functionality of the applications 'Add Web fonts '. Once added to perform as expected, then they become "unavailable." Details below. Was a complete creative cloud Subscriber for a few years, so I am quite familiar with the way the system works less some problems that have arisen at the time, including.

  System information:

  Adobe Creative Cloud (full subscription): Version 1.9.1.474

  Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3

  OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2

  Here's a summary of what took place. I will detail the bug as best as I can.

  
  

  1. creation of new Adobe Muse project. Everything is normal.

  2. has chosen to add a new font using the function 'Add Web fonts' in the Muse. A note, my creative application of cloud's race / open at all times (in the mode of file synchronization).

  3. has chosen the new fonts to help above. Everything seemed well (see screenshots below).

  

  4 fonts were also indicated as being "synchronized" in Creative Cloud (screenshot below).

  

  5. as expected, the two fonts have been added to the list of available within the Muse Web fonts (first screenshot below - left). I added the successfully on my site. Well after that a number of hours, I went back to the same menu of selection of fonts within the Muse and the fonts was still visible but the submenu that you'd expect showing various forms (bold, italic, etc.) was not available. In a sense the police could not be selected in the list even if the name is clearly visible second screenshot below - right).

  

  Have no idea what can be wrong. Saved the Project Muse, closed, and then reopened - nothing has changed. Created new project - fonts always menu 'shows', but cannot be used. Find a vague description by using Google to a similar problem (different application) which recommended Creative Cloud Desktop App closing and reopening as a possible solution. It WORKED at first, but the problem, well fixed for a period of time (a few hours at most), will reappear again where we would see once again still not being able to choose two Web fonts. Went up to the Cloud to uninstall then reinstall Desktop creative application. Still not solved the problem.

  Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restart the CC application whenever fonts are no longer available is quite a lot of time for my workflow.

  CC of Muse doesn't have the serial number for installation. You could get this prompt because of some networks of communication-element blocking with Adobe servers.

  Please try the following: -.

  (1) If you are on a MAC: -.

  Press shift + command + G (another Finder, go--> go to folder) to open go to folder.

  Type / etc, and then open the file called hosts.

  Check if you have any Adobe associated entry in the file.

  If so, please rename the file and check again.

  (2) If you are on a windows machine: -.

  Browse to the location:-C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

  Open file "hosts".

  Check if you have any Adobe associated entry in the file.

  If so, please rename the file and check again.

• Stuck in the middle of a Business Catalyst - Adobe Muse blog footer

  Hello to everyone in the Adobe / Community Business Catalyst.

  I love BC and really began to enjoy the connection between BC and Muse. I created a blog between Muse and before BC without having this problem, but for some reason, it just around the blog / connection muse will not so smooth. I created the page template using the {tag_pagecontent} and created 2 separate blog templates for 2 different items in the website (the two pages share the same page master, just had slightly variable content on each model in British Colombia). I did the HTML box down to the bottom of the page everything as before, so the blog could expand each page accordingly. When I published my Web site, footer remained in the middle of the page so that the blog extended behind her. I made everything in my foot was checked as a"footer", but I've always had this problem. I'd like an overview as to why this is happening. I checked to see if the provision of the content layer may affect what anyone, but no luck there.   Hey, I actually solved this simply uncheck the "sticky Footer" in the menu of the site properties. What is the sticky footer is automatically snap the foot to the bottom of the page no matter what screen size. For some reason, he has problems with Adobe Muses BC models you generate so if you uncheck sticky footer, you should be able to make it work. I hope this helps!   Hello world! I'm pretty new to Adobe Muse

  So I had this question, I noticed that when you put a slideshow and you check on 'Fade' in the Transition zone, when the picture fades always fades to white and then goes to the next image

  Is it possible to have it 'Fade To Black'? (witch is also a song quite awesome by the way) or in any case, to make the transition fade between images not white?

  During the transition from fading, it is just the opacity of images that change (reduction for one) and the increase for each other and there is no white content coming during the transition here. You can check that by slowing down the speed of Transition of the slideshow for a few seconds. For now, you can add any intermediate color between the transition of image in a slideshow of Muse. You can add this as a feature request in the ideas of this form section at http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas.
