Compaq DC5750 series desktopPC: compatible memory question

Will HP P/N 404574-888 1 GB memory in my Compaq DC5750 series desktop PC?  I know that the PC has 4 memory slots and I think that the memory must be installed in sets of two.  I have 2 GB total now with maps two memory supplied with the PC and there are two empty slots.  I was hoping to put in two additional 1 GB memory cards each to spend a total of 4GBs of memory.  Running Windows 7, I think that I have a memory bottleneck in the performance of the PC.  When I go to the Task Manager, my memory is already 87% used after a fresh reboot.  I appreciate comments.  Thank you

What is an MT or SSF?  Here is a parts reference guidefor the Mt.  To the #2 page, the 1 GB is part # 398038-001, and here's a price.  The reference you gave 404574-888 is PC2 6400, if your system is PC2 5300 latest 6400 will return to 5300.

Hi, I recently bought a CPU AMD Athlon X 2 5000 + for my system. The current one is AMD Athlon X 2 4400 + Not much of an upgrade, I know. But I'm going to build another system so I though I would just have both, use a faster on my primary system.

I checked in the user manual, the processor is indeed compatible with this mobo.

So when I have the 5000 + installed it don't post, no beep and I get no signal on the screen. I went from the old processor in and everything works fine. So my question is, I have to update my bios (v2.22), the cpu is bad or is it something else?

Let me know if you need additional information from me. Thanks, have a good evening.

Certainly the update of the BIOS.

    > The computer won't start. Why?

When the computer (laptop) does not start, it's not compatible memory modules.

Usually before you buy the memory module, look for information on compatibility. Best example you see HERE

I can't download a driver at HP, because it doesn't display the Windows 7 operating system.

Anyone know if a driver can be found and downloaded to the printer above go with Windows 7?

    Thanks for any help.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this printer has been supported only up to Windows XP.  As far as I know, no newer drivers do exist and you will not be able to use this product with your Windows 7 PC.

  • PowerEdge T320 compatible memory

    Hello

I had a server T320 with single processor, I has 4 GB of RAM, I want to expand the memory at least 16 GB.

Is there a list of compatible memory modules that can be used

    Here is an example

    HMT31GR7BFR4C-PB Hynix

    Samsung M393B1G70QH0-YK0

    HP 605313-071 Micron

If I can get the memory of 510 Poweredge servers can also allow here.

    Thank you

    BHU

Outside the group that you listed, the only one that looks like it might be compatible would be the Hynix. More glancing DIMMS for the R510, there is a bar shared memory, but it's a 2GB. I don't see any other compatible crossing those listed. Thus, it can be up to error on those you have.

Also you can mix brands of memory, as the population of DIMMs can be different as long as the population for each socket mode and rules.

    • If dimms of different speeds are mixed, all channels across all CPUs operated at the common frequency of the slowest dimm.
    • That a single dimm type is allowed per system: UDIMM or RDIMMS. They cannot be mixed.
    • The first slot dimm in each channel is color-coded with white release tabs to facilitate their identification.
    • Rank savings and mirroring
    • DIMMs must be installed in each channel from the furthest Dimm to CPU. DIMMs must be installed with County rank largest to smallest. For example, if DR is mixed with modules DIMM SR, the DRs should be in the lowest Dimm then SR DIMM slots.

Here are some numbers if necessary part.

    D65JJ - 4 GB 1600 MHz 2RX8

    CPX35 - 8 GB 1600 MHz 2RX4 low voltage

  • Compaq Presario CQ5300Y desktop PC - memory upgrade

Hello, everyone! I hope you are all well.

I have a desktop PC Compaq Presario CQ5300Y, to which I would like to upgrade the memory.

The product specifications indicate clearly that the motherboard, a M2N68-(Narra5), 2 x DDR2 memory media. (In addition, the amount of installed memory is 2 GB.)

The product specifications, in the information section of upgrade memory also mention the following:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dual channel memory architecture
    Supports two DDR2 DIMM (240-pin)

    Supported DIMM types:

    PC2-5300 (667 MHz)
    PC2-6400 (800 MHz)

    Memory non - ECC, unbuffered
Supports DIMM DDR2 2 GB modules
Supports up to 4 GB * on 32-bit PCs
    * 32 - bit operating systems cannot resolve a full 4.0 GB memory.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm clear (with what the article said) I have only available two DIMM DDR2 2 brackets.

"What confuses me is the statement" ""supports 2 GB DDR2 DIMM '. This is the reason for my question.

"Supports 2 GB DDR2 DIMM" means that I have to use 2 GB DDR DIMM only, which means I can only go to 4 GB? Or could I use 4GB DDR2 DIMM, which breaks the barrier of 4 GB?

In a few words, I would like to - at least - 8GB (assuming that I find two modules DIMM DDR2 4 GB). Would it be possible to have the above configuration?

It is important to mention that the PC is running a 64-bit operating system.

I would appreciate the attention he can draw on this issue.

    Best regards.

    Hello:

Each slot of memory on the motherboard of your PC cannot accept that a maximum of one module of memory of 2 GB.

    1 x 2 GB will work.

    2 x 2 GB will work.

    1 x 4 GB will not work.

    2 x 4 GB will not work.

  • HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s: HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s compatible RAM upgrades

Hi guys! I bought the HP - Compaq ProBook 4520 s and I plan to upgrade my memory (4 GB of ram).  Is PC3-12800 unbuffered NON - ECC 1.35v or PC3-10600 1333 - PC3 compatible? Can anyone suggest me what is the most compatible? Thank you!

Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM PC3-8500, 1066 MHz, DDR3

I guess you want to upgrade to 8 gigs. The specified memory modules are:

    4 GB (PC3-10600 1333 MHz, DDR3) 599092-001

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-VH641AT-4-GB-DDR3-PC3-10600/DP/B0030L3B8E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1451132539&SR=8-1&keywords=599092-001

It does not speed up the system to install memory 1600 mhz and your laptop requires no 1.35 volts. The DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) might work, but you're better off buy the modules specified or as close to them as you can find.

  • HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim: Upgrade memory and video on a HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim

    Hello

I have two questions that maybe someone could help me with regard to computer HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim (Base).

Quesition 1: motherboard has three locations of memory instead of 4, this means that memory can only be improved to 3 s gig? I am currentlly have three 512 memory chips for altogether 1.5 Gig, but I want to upgrade to the maxi I think it is 4 GB. (I had tried to use gig two chips and 512, 1 but they didn't work because the 1 GB have been 6400's.)

Question 2: I tried different ways to install a PCI-E video card but I do not see how it fits. The rear panel has a scsi interface in the PCI riser card. I removed the SCSI card, but no matter how I tried, I don't see how to hold the card. Any body is not picture on how it must be inserted?

    Thank you

See the info to the USDT where the x are applied.

    Maximum memory is 3 x 1 GB (see page 6 and 9).

Graphic... you can not add a conventional PCI express graphics card.

See page 11 for graphics only map available.

The slot that resembles a location PCIe x 16 is for a special HP. planning DVI ADD2 card.

And even if the quickspecs state that this map is available for the USDT (at page 10) this document of specific information that is not.

  • HP pavilion g series: upgrade my memory on my pavilion laptop g series 1325sa

    Hi all

Just a question to those in the know.  I need to know how to upgrade the ram in my computer g series hp laptop pavilion.  Cuurently has slightly less than 4 GB, but ideally need at least 8 GB minimum.  I can do and where can I get the chipset (think that's his name) and an idea of the cost, it is also an easy task?

    Thank you very much

    G6-1325sa?

    G6-1325sa sheet

Said maximum 6 GB but users regularly report success with 8 gigs.

    Download your service manual here

See p. 54 for a photo showing how to upgrade the memory. You have the module one 4 concert and an open slot. You can add a 2 gig for sure to make 6 GB and very probably add a 4 GB to 8 gigs.

This is the part number for the 4 GB module:

    4 GB module on amazon.com

    2 gig

    < <! UPGRADE MEMORY SHOULDN'T BE COMPLICATED! > >

Chassis: HP Compaq 6000 Pro Compact

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @3. 00 GHz

    RAM: 2 x 1 GB

    OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I can add more technical info on request.

Recently saved this PC of my friend tries to throw it. Everything is fine with the PC. It works perfectly and there is no material visible failure wihtin the PC either. He just bought a new and had no need for this one.

Before turn me this into a House mutli-purpose server, I decided to upgrade the RAM.

So I did some research and found this page: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01883661

DDR3 240-pin DIMM 1333 MHz non - ECC, Max 4 GB per DIMM slot, Total Max 16 GB module.

I went and bought RAM Corsair. Link to the product: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cmv4gx3m1a1333c9

I decided to get 2x4gb and upgrade later if I felt the need.

I was happy to install in the PC. one in DIMM 1 slot and the other in the DIMM 2 slot.

    BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!

I thought that maybe the slots are wrong, maybe they have to odd numbers then numbers.

So I changed the RAM of DIMM 2 DIMM 3.

    Once again, the annoying ringtone.

I even tried leaving just the 4 GB DIMM 1 and tried to start the PC, but nothing helped.

I tried a lot of different combinations with the end result is 5 annoying beeps.

After that I thought that maybe, just maybe, an update of the BIOS can change things.

So I installed Windows 7 (I can't stand Windows. Arch Linux FTW) and performing a BIOS update.

I then installed the new RAM again. Yes... frickin 5 beeps AGAIN.

I am extremely disappointed at this point. I spent already $ 70 on a computer with free access.

I read the forums here, but I couldn't find a thread with a solution for me.

Is there anyone on this forum who could lend me a helping hand?

Any information would be gladly appreciated.

PS Please report any stupid error, I did. Stick and stones could not curb my bones.
