I've recently downgraded to xp and trying to find the drivers for my hardware
Help, please
No, you don't need graphics Intel driver_it is on board. If you need a Nvidia driver go to the site.
Try this for LAN:
FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/Software7/COL15132/ob-40488-1/sp26742.exe
Simple controller of Comm PCI modem dialup, the Vista driver works generally under XP:

Compaq Presario SR5250NX Vista->; XP
If I had problems with my desktop computer and for some reason, I decided to downgrade to Vista, XP. The installation went fine, everything went smoothly, now are all that seems to require some drivers. I have a laptop which I use to make this post, any help would be great, maybe instead of links let me know what I need to do before I'm going to play with all sensitive bits. I'm decently well with computers, I want to just make sure I get the right drivers and installed correctly. I thank everyone and everything in advance to tide me over.
Also on a side note, my computer came stock with 1 GB of ram so I put two 1 gig sticks, the system uses them very well, but after that put them in a graphics card in my friend had sent me and everything installed perfectly, after a while I noticed that my computer crashes. Then it would pretty well whenever I went on youtube completely off and re - turn itself on, but ignore the message "you don't stop your computer properly... I since then he cleaned thouroughly as much as from dust ect and added a longer power ' not a high-powered I think its only 50 or 100 higher than the old, but he still loved to freeze. " I've been running without the video card about 12 hours, and it has not frozen or shut off yet, after that I installed the xp and others. So I hope maybe it was some bad files or something, even though I was not able to connect to my ethernet cable to test the way in which it manages the youtube.* *.

driver Compaq Presario CQ60 wireless problems
I just reinstalled Windows Vista computer and now the Wlan driver is missing and I can't access Internet with this computer. He said only I can access via services to broadband. However, I am sure that it doesn't have the ability to access wireless because I had no problem in the past. Unfortunately, I don't have the CD with the driver software to install, so I have to use another computer to download it and then transfer the driver software.
Should what software I use?

I recently had a lot of blue screen errors and I took a lot of steps in my attempt to deal with them. I have updated and uninstalled the drivers who had the yellow exclammation mark next to them in the Device Manager. I ran Microsoft Memory Diagnostic tool. I went through all the steps to repair the windows that are arranged in the executable file for Tweaking.com. However, I'll always have this annoying problem. What I really want to get to is the root of the problem. I want to know if it's a hardware problem, so that I can replace the parts that I need to replace, or be it a software problem. Here is some info about my computer: I'm currently connected to the internet via a cable modem and that modem is connected to my computer via a USB cable because my NETWORK card is down. I have already disabled the CARD driver and have properly installed the drivers for the modem. The blue screen issue occurs very randomly. I've already gotten two technicians from Microsoft support and they were not able to provide any real indication of the problem. Please, I beg you! I'm desperate to get to the bottom of this!

I'm about to order a recovery cd for my Compaq Presario SR5250NX desktop PC, but whenever I look at this, it is said that it is impossible to find this system (in fact, this computer is too old). Is it possible that I can order one, maybe I was looking through the wrong end (SR5250NX).

If HP has more recovery disc for your pc, (I assume you called them and they said that none was available), you can order a set of this provider on the link below.

Downgrade from Windows 7 64 for XP 64 bit for the Presario Compaq CQ61 - 319WM VM371UA
HI - lets get right:
You have now the Compaq Presario CQ61-319WM in front of you is preloaded with Win7, but you want to downgrade to your copy of XP64bit.
Your system is:
AMD Athlon II M300 64-bit multiprocessor Dual Core @ 2 GHz
RS780/RS880 (M)<- your="" northbridge="">->
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 (3400 variant?)<- your="">->
SB750<- southbridge="">->1 unit comes with a 250 GB HARD drive. Replace it with another SATA HDD for your copy of xp64 bit before powering it, by registering and activating, seeing that this solution is not yet complete, saving your software Windows 7 preinstalled in this way.
NOTE: Do not install Windows XP 64 - bit Edition on your current 250GB Win7. If you did get the Compaq CD to restore.
Download nLite from 2 a. nLiteOS.com to integrate SATA drivers (called: "Slipstream") inside your Windows CD otherwise: BSOD. (recommended method)
-or-
2B. After changing BIOS to recognize the floppy USB download drive drivers SATA on diskette and the XP CD, press F6 to manually load these drivers SATA AHCI floppy.
3. use your Slipstreamed CD and let XP starts normally (no key of F)
-Si Windows successfully installed continue-
4. now that XP64 bit runs the first thing that you want to install the .NET Framework 3.0 would be.
5. install Visual C++ redistributable (free version)
6 install the network driver. See below
NOTE: 8102 & 8103 pilots would most likely work, not 8139 family.

*/On our test unit CQ61 we currently have ALL but TWO missing drivers. the Audio driver and the video!
After consultation with AMD, IDT and Insyde each has decided that this problem is with Compaq "Softpaqs Engineering Team", in the meantime a viable solution. Support for Compaq of level 2 has been unable to help in this case, however, agreed to intensify this concern to the "level 3" (genius).
"Diversity is the key to break the monotony" Obviously, still a challenge for the Presario team in this area.
Our testing shows that the problem exists in the firmware of the cards mothers; Perhaps the BIOS. Insyde (SSII BIOS) indicated that HP/Compaq has the "sp?.» solution "exe" and refused further assistance because of HP/Compaq contracts. "
So why Compaq insist on locking/force their users in Windows 7, without other Windows based operating system options for this model and others who are currently in production? We're going to investigate.
Currently, Windows XP 64-bit Edition is still being supported by Microsoft after January 10, 2010. So why not HP?
Finally.
Here we have the more stable driver, for most official, complete the value for the model CQ61 running XP64 (and possibly XP as well). It concerns all the drivers listed below:
Driver SATA AHCI-
Bus - SM
-Realtek Ethernet Controller
-ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 video driver
Driver Modem Agere-
-Atheros WiFi driver
Use this forum as the timestamp.
There were too many sources to the list for the updated driver, so a full driver package was created in place to keep things simple, without all the headaches of doing it yourself.
This package should work on XP 64-bit operating systems based and is released as is. The instructions are inside each directory.
NOTE: After downloading Please run the 1st prerequisites folder, then all other folders depending on numbers starting with 1 ( 0 record is for your slipstream). Here are the details of the file:

Last NOTE: If MD5 checksums do not match after downloading, remove it immediately. In this community, we are here to assist you in all possible ways to make your life a little easier with the PC. This is an ongoing process and the development of this package has been a joint effort from many sources. However, we remain optimistic for the official drivers of HP if they also, we support the cause as highlighted in their slogans and advertising. HP Compaq CQ45-902TU with Windows 8 to be downgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium
Hi all
I bought a computer laptop cheap recently "HP Compaq CQ45-902TU with Windows 8" unfortunately cannot use it due to Windows 8' hostile user interface. I was intending to downgrade it. When I read the comments, they say I need to download drivers windows 7 first of this model CQ45-902TU HP Web site. HP site says that they do not provide it. What should I do? Is there anyone there to help?
Thank you
Sarah Lloyd
Hi, Sarah:
HP does not support PC consumers for all windows OS, but W8 64-bit systems.
Do your series of W8 recovery discs before install us W7, as most likely the recovery partition no longer works.
You must change a setting in the BIOS so that the laptop can boot from the installation of W7 media and for W7 run on your laptop.
See the link below for more information.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03736054
You will need to find a model with a similar material as yours which has w7 64-bit drivers.
I think that all the drivers and the software of this model should also work on your own, except the audio.
You must install the Intel graphics driver for your model.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK FILES
You can get the Realtek audio driver from the link below.
Accept the agreement. Download and install the second on the list (W7 64-bit).

Dear community
I really would like to substitiute the Windows 7 operating system for installation of Windows 8. I was told that is not possible, but I wanted to check with you before I give up on this issue.
Thank you
JB39STR
WARNING *.
HP does not recommend installing Windows 7 on a computer comes with Windows 8, and it will support the installation of Windows 7. HP doesn't provide drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.
Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.
You should ENABLE 'Secure Boot' and 'Legacy Support' in the 'BIOS Setup boot secured' on the settings below page before you may try to install Windows 7;
or
In addition, as the hard drive is partitioned as TPG, you must start the computer by using the "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" in the start menu "F9". If "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" or something to that effect does not exist in the start menu, please post a screenshot and/or make startup listed options.
I suggest to use a disc of Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need a Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive. The USB can not be recognized as valid a source of UEFI boot by some computers if it is formatted in NTFS and may require some modifications to work correctly.
Here are the specifications of your laptop Compaq CQ58-331SA. For your model, HP seems to provide that drivers of Windows 8. Many drivers Windows 7 (with the exception of the Audio driver) from the page of drivers PC laptop HP Pavilion 2123us g6 should run on your computer. Please try this Realtek HD Audio Driver. Do not use the BIOS file in the page g6-2123us is not compatible with your model.
Thanks for posting to the Windows Device Manager "Hardware ID" additional missing or unknown devices, as shown in the example below.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

original title: vista to xp? HWHello
First thing to do is to make sure that XP drivers are available for your model computer.
Search drivers XP here model number: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html
Then, buy a XP disk and license. You will have to search in online stores (beware of scams, piracy!), for old copies computer stores, etc.
Then, if you can buy XP, perform a new installation of XP, Vista operating system cut the hard during the XP installation.
