  I recently got a computer (Compaq Presario M2000) of my grandmother, and when I get it home I discovered she used the wrong recovery for this computer recovery disk.   The graphics card in your laptop is not completely capable of W7.

  Here is a work around, you can adjust the resolution of the screen and have the graphics acceleration running W7.

  You won't have Aero (this is why the GMA 900 is not completely capable of W7).

  Download and run this graphics driver.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

  Conclusion of any windows error.

  Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category graphics cards.

  Click on the VGA Standard card.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and if all goes well, the driver will be installed.

  If you put beside the video card laptop I think that you see that there is no way to put it there. The video card is almost as large as the laptop. We receive a few tons of these posts here these days. But the answer has not changed. There is no upgrade for your video that is remotely possible in this life on this planet. Cannot be done, no cases in any way. The video is a chip that is soldered to the motherboard with the set traces to work only with this specific chip. Even the best ubertech with mad fine welding skills could not do anything else's work. When you buy a laptop get the graph and the processor you want and need for now and the future. If you need something better it means a new laptop not a level 98% of the time. When you buy a game controls the minimum requirements and see if your computer can meet.

  Sorry if I sound a little harsh but as I said we get 2 or 3 of these questions every day and I blame the computer manufacturers (HP, for example) and retailers such as Best Buy for not educating the public about what they are buying.

  The sp45168 of 32-bit file, or SMU 64-bit file I have attached.  The 32 bit sp45168 file is a valid exe file.

  If you are referring to the SMU 64 bit file that I have attached, everything that you do with, i.e. download and uncompress the latter in his file.

  You do not do anything with the files in the folder.  There is no exe file to launch.

  You navigate to the folder that you have unpacked from the coprocessor in Device Manager device by clicking the coprocessor, click the driver tab, and then click Update driver, click Browse my computer for driver software option, navigate to the folder of the driver EMS that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

  Restart the PC.
