  As I said earlier, the DNG Converter works ONLY on files, not on files.

  Do not target the individual files.  Target Of THE FOLDER that contains them.

  Make sure that said FILE DO NOT contain any other files , you have already settled before, or your settings will be eliminated when re-converted to DNG.

  No need to write long explanations.  More messages are, the more chances you have of receiving relevant responses.

• Separate the NEF + JPG

  I made the mistake of importing files like NEF + JPG in recent years and have a jumble of NAVE, JPG and NEF + JPG thumbnails in my library.  I'm going back through my files, delete all except a few and I want to only keep the raw files.  So, I want to separate the NEF + JPG in the library, so I can keep some of the NAVE with all the Keywords I already have in place.

  This is the only way I can think to do.

  1. Write all of the xmp metadata (filter on the NEF file type, select all and Ctrl S).
  2. Always filtered throughout the nave files add a "jpg" text filter to select only the NEF + JPG inches.
  3. Set the red label (all wire have been cleared in advance).
  4. Remove everything from the library.
  5. Change the preferences library don't combine Raw + Jpg.
  6. Synchronize library and reimport all files.
  7. Filter on the red label and type JPG file, slect all and remove all the jpg files.

  I'm not worried about losing develop the story.

  Is there an easier way to do this?

• Conversion of CS3 RAW (NEF) for D7200

  I am a continuous user of CS 3 and I just bought a Nikon D7200. The converter of RAW (NEF) files, that I used with my D90 is no longer applicable.

  I checked on the Adobe site and it seems that the upgrade to 9 RAW converter should fix this for me, but it doesn't.

  Is there a solution that does not require an updated version of the PS?

  I tried the DNG Converter and it works and I'm reluctant to create duplicate of 25 MB files.

  Devices supported by Camera Raw

  As you say, the D7200 has been initially supported by Camera Raw 9.0 but versions of Camera Raw are compatible with different versions of Photoshop.

  See the compatibility list here that shows that Camera Raw 9 is only compatible with CS6 and Cloud versions.

  If the Raw file records are a branch of the file system. in other words there is a root folder where all other raw files folders are subfolders of a branch.  X wrote this script for you. You can search Image Processor Pro download and install it.  Photoshop menu File > Automate > Image Processor Pro...   Its a plugin script and sound where other plugin is in file > controller.

  You need Camera raw 8.7 or later to open these files. You can use the free dng or update converter as less PS CS6.

  I did some googling, and it seems that your D750 needs 8.7 ACR (Adobe Camera Raw version 8.7).  My camera needs ACR 8.3, but apparently 11 elements does not support this update. I have a feeling that your 10 PES is the same (no support ACR 8.7) for your camera.

  So, we can:

  (1) use the supplied software to Nikon for RAW files, convert to jpeg, and then open in PSE,

  (2) download: free Adobe, something called a converter DNG (?) that creates a DNG file to open to post-secondary studies, or

  (3) buy a newer version of elements, where the version supported with ACR IS compatible with your camera

  I'm not sure 100% accuracy of this info, but so far, that's what I found. Personally, I do not have these options.  I want to be able to work in PSE raw, but having to spend ANOTHER $100 or so just for this feature seems wrong.

  Apart from the pse 13 upgrade, you can use the 8.7.1 dng converter from adobe to convert best dng files, PES 11 should then open.

  Nikon D600 is supported by Camera Raw 7.3 and later versions which is compatible with the CS6.

  In CS6, click Help > updates and your Camera Raw should be updated.

  Highlight the 40 images, then open the export dialog and set your options. There is no "Save" option or "Save as" option in Lightroom. Given that Lightroom does not modify your original image, it is necessary to export copies derived for any purpose you need.

  1. 11 items, I use "open as" and select camera raw as the type.
  2. I have to open a jpg image and it will open in Camera Raw 7.4 for elements 11.
  3. After having made some adjustments in CR, I click on the 'Open' button and the image opens in 11 elements.
  4. I click on FILE > CLOSE and a popup asking if I want to save the image.  I click on no.
  5. Then perform steps 1 and 2 again and the jpg image opens in Czech Republic but this time he keeps all the settings that I have done before in Czech Republic.

  I looked in the folder containing the jpg photos, but I do not see a DNG file for jpg image.  So where CR saves the settings I did to jpg image?

  Adjustments will be not visible in the original jpg file, unless you open with Camera RAW.  If you want the changes to be visible in the jpg with all software to look at a picture, you need to open the file with Camera RAW and save it as a jpg file - if you don't want to overwrite the original jpg file or use a different file name or save to a different folder.

  The original jpg file contains all settigs slider Camera RAW and unmodified image data, so changes are non-destructive which means that you can open at any time with Camera RAW and make changes.
