  Hi all

  I am trying to take my 10 years and more Sony DCR -TRV80 / Mini DV tapes and convert them to digital. I bought the first of 12 elements.

  I want to try to capture the video and the date/time stamp to display at the bottom of the video image (preferably for 5 seconds).

  If I can't do that, I need to watch all of her capture and manually write time stamps / date of capture.

  This isn't a feature of Premiere Elements. However, many people were able to do it by supplementing with a program called DV Date.

  Although photoshop cs5 will not open files Sony RX100M3 camera raw, you can use the adobe dng converter to convert them to dng best, which photoshop cs5 should then open.

  I'm new to PE9 and I cannot bring widescreen widescreen video of finalized DVDs from my Sony DCR - DVD 308 in format.  The video on the handhelds is wide, but when I bring it in PE9, it opens a dialog box for the importer of video, I get the mismatch warning and he brought as a standard video format.  I tried several different presets, including 'NTSC-Hard Disk, memory Flash as Sony DCR camcorders' but to no avail.  The video that comes is always the standard proportions.  What I am doing wrong?

  Cannot find drivers for my samsung mini dv SC-D353 to work with windows 7, someone knows how to fix this problem for free.  What do I need to install to get the videos of a tape to my computer?

  There is no separate software/driver needed to copy videos from a camcorder to tape (from DV Stream), if you use IEEE port for video transfer. You must choose the video input source in the software, like Windows Live Movie Maker. Once this is done, you can copy the videos of the band to the PC.

  We have been the consolidation of several departmental databases in a database of big CARS. In addition, in the databases of tests we are cloning of red blood cell tests (for example, an application schema is cloned 100 times so that our users can test independently of each other).

  We just increase our size of log redo recently. I did have the chance to test after the change. Our redo log was only 4 MB, it has increased to 64 MB to reduce the activity of control point. This will no doubt help...

  Hi Jocelyn,

  In the middle of the stream, logminer dictionary is built using DBMS_CAPTURE_ADM. BUILD procedure. You should not use DBMS_LOGMNR_D.BUILD for that.

  In the middle of water courses, DBMS_STREAMS_ADM. ADD_TABLE_RULE will dump the dictionary only on the first time when you call it, given that the capture process has not yet been created and it will be created only when you call DBMS_STREAMS_ADM. ADD_TABLE_RULE and a dictionary dump as well. LogMiner dictionary will have the information about all objects such as tables, partitions, columns, users and etc... The dump of the dictionary will take time depends on the number of objects in the database because if the number of objects is very high in the database then the data dictionary itself will be great.

  The size of your recovery 64 MB and it's too small for a production system, you should consider having a size of log roll forward of at least 200M.

  You can have a complete using DBMS_CAPTURE_ADM logminer dictionary build. BUILD and then create a capture process using the FIRST_SCN returned by the BUILD procedure.

• iPhone 1 (first generation) Sim Card tray

  Anyone know a source for the purchase of an an iPhone SIM card Tray 1 (first generation)? I have mine since 2007. My wife is an educator specialized and I would use the phone like an iPod Touch, basically. I have to get the iPhone enabled in order to use it, but requires a SIM card. The original plate is missing. I searched Amazon, eBay and the web in general. Can't seem to find a. Any ideas? I also have an iPhone 3G with a SIM tray but the tray does not adapt to the iPhone 1. Thanks for any help or ideas.

  I think you'd find it difficult to find, because of his age and that the 1 G is now a bit of a collectors item. If it is in good nic, other than the missing sim tray, I would keep it hidden and buy an iPod Touch (same one used) then set up a search saved in ebay for the Board and try and get your hands on one.

  It may be easier to buy a whole phone, I just did a search of ebay for the entire phone and they are ranging from £35 for one with a screen broken up to £3 500 for an open box.

• Mini Mac - exchange of hard disks

  I have two mini Mac - the two 2012.

  Mac mini #1 is i7 2.6 GHz Quad Core - my first desktop computer

  Mac mini #2 is i3 2.3 GHz Dual Core - used as HTPC / Media Server

  #1 has (2) 1 TB disks, which I use a lot less than half (I also have external drives)

  #2 a (1) 512 MB internal drive, which is almost complete

  I plan to (1) move the 1 TB drives from #1 to #2 and move all data (mainly from the iTunes music ALAC and some iMovie video), that would solve the question of space. While they are open I consider also adding an SSD as the diskette of starting to #1, this would improve the startup time, run certain programs a little faster and a 256 MB or 512 MB disk would be inexpensive, that I would win a little more than space for data too. (to be honest, the Mac mini is jealous of the SSD in my MacBook)

  I've increased the RAM to #2, replace a switch of volume on a 3 g iPhone and replaced a screen on an iPad 2, so I'm not afraid of detail work - but only the RAM was easy. I also watched the videos on the replacement of a HD for this model on iFixIt. What is not clear is how much more difficult it is to make the first record as the second. If I move just a reader I wouldn't have to dig in the 1st Bay.

  So, my questions:

  (1) how can I say on the report system which drive is in the Bay, by whom I have which is on top, which is at the bottom? Or can I assume that the startup disk is always on top? (harder to do)

  (2) is the player in the upper Bay of much more difficult to replace?

  (3) I would also examine suggestions for a reliable SSD, but this isn't the substance of my question.

  Here's a video OWC on how to add a second drive to a Mac mini (same steps for 2011) 2012. I bought their data Doubler kit (and the extra ribbon cable) so that I would have the tools to get the job done right. Seen their detailed video while performing the surgery. I bought a 128 GB OCZ Vertex SSD (now a division of Toshiba and new product name VT180 series) for main and kept startup disk the Apple 512 GB of disk in place. The OCZ Vertex is fast and reliable for fall 2011.

• Contacts on Mac-Mini disappeared after turning on iCloud

  I dropped the phone flip 3 weeks ago and you own an iPhone SE. used shortcut Yahoo mail on the self to put in place the Mail (IMAP) iOS and it worked OK.  But, I wanted to be able to choose from different 'reply-to' e-mail addresses when sending in the iOS Mail, so I deleted the SE today and manually Yahoo email account added the yahoo account in iOS Mail which then allowed me to add my various addresses 'reply-to' for the account (for some reason that the option was not available when you use the Yahoo shortcut to configure the IMAP account).

  But that now, meant that I was is more synchronized on the self to the Yahoo mail on the web addressbook, I've built over the years.  No worries, well--I decided to use iCloud for access/sync Contacts (and only) on my Mac Mini.

  The problem: when I registered in iCloud, on the Mini first, then the iPhone IS, nothing happened as far as I could tell.  There was no "synchronization" happening as far as I could tell.  I've created a contact test on the self to see if she would come over to the Mini and it was around this time that I realized all the 1,000 or contacts on the Mini were so missing, except one or two under my name!  And at some point I noticed that the contact test synced on more Contacts on the Mini!  So, somehow I deleted contacts from the Mini and then synchronized with the iPhone successfully SE?

  More info: I think that when I turned first on iCloud on the Mini, I can accidentally switch off answering a question on this that need localization service to find my Mac.   I think that I turned on the self iCloud and when nothing happened, I went back on the Mini and rekindled iCloud.

  Therefore, the Mini contacts are lost forever (contact details are all text, no image or anything complicated)?   I did a full backup of the Mini five weeks before installing El Capitan, although I don't know how or where Apple stores Contacts information).  How are they so easily deleted in the first place the mini?  It is the error of the operator on iCloud getting to work or is it a bug any? He works this contact because a trial moved on? I know, there was problems with iCloud when El Capitan came out last year.

  the reason is that your carrier not approved the update, you can only manually update your phone

• Need of Professinal Windows 7 settings for the same for factory Installation in order to capture movies with Sony to play memories

  My computer does not Windows 7 installed at the factory.   Our it guy had to customize my computer because I am the network administrator.  He installed Windows 7 Professional instead to be installed at the factory.  Sony support said that PlayMemories works for the factory installed Windows 7.  If you perform a reinstall of Windows 7 Professional, you put in the factory settings or should I always the same questions?  I try to capture movies from a camcorder that records on the front Mini DV camcorder breaks.  Sony advises download PlayMemories and use it to capture the film out of the camera.  But he acknowledges that the pilots of a factory-installed Windows 7 program.

  Several years (beginning of the 1990s) when I started in AV, I was trained by the sound engineer who worked at a factory of TV production.  He gave me this great book on the subject (I wish I had kept him, but he had a red cover) and it was like a revelation for me.  But the main thing was to implement levels SEEN hovering around 0 DB.  And that's when 0 dB displayed on the meter not as more of the top of the counter, but a little more to the right as this:

  

  Since then, I did successfully audio with Shure Mackie, Tascam and mixers and other equipment.  One thing that I would try to do is use tone and set it to 0.

  We recently had a Canon DSLR and I noticed that the level 0 now seems to be max and not the reference value - in other words if the sounds going past-12 it's bad and 0 is the worst:

  We also have a wireless Audio microphone technology so I put the output on it up to-20 DB switch (there - 20 and -10, 0), connected on the barrel and then using the manual controls on the camera, I brought up to slightly lower levels to-12 DB.  It sounds great and everything worked, but I wonder what happened to the 0 DB reference and why the new machines and software as first use 0 DB as what seems to be a higher level than normal prescribed now?

  You have SEEN (units of volume) confuse db (decibels). They are not the same thing. The meter displays the units of volume. The first counters show db. The most simplistic answer is - 12db = 0VU. If you create bars and tone in the program Panel, you will see the default setting is to have the set tone at-12 dB. If you had to play to a device that has meters, adjust you the entry on the device to read 0VU.
