PE9 ProjectPreset for Sony DCR - DVD308 Mini DVD VOB files

I'm new to PE9 and I cannot bring widescreen widescreen video of finalized DVDs from my Sony DCR - DVD 308 in format.  The video on the handhelds is wide, but when I bring it in PE9, it opens a dialog box for the importer of video, I get the mismatch warning and he brought as a standard video format.  I tried several different presets, including 'NTSC-Hard Disk, memory Flash as Sony DCR camcorders' but to no avail.  The video that comes is always the standard proportions.  What I am doing wrong?

Excellent!

Sometimes, before (it is not the only one here) will miss the flag to display 16:9 wide in the header of the file. That's what interpreting the film. Same thing for the other AV file flags, such as FPS.

Happy editing,

Hunt

    Hi all

I am trying to take my 10 years and more Sony DCR -TRV80 / Mini DV tapes and convert them to digital. I bought the first of 12 elements.

I want to try to capture the video and the date/time stamp to display at the bottom of the video image (preferably for 5 seconds).

If I can't do that, I need to watch all of her capture and manually write time stamps / date of capture.

    Any ideas?

Y at - it another program that could do if first elements 12 does not work?

This isn't a feature of Premiere Elements. However, many people were able to do it by supplementing with a program called DV Date.

  • Free download driver for sony dcr-ip220 camcorder

Where to download the free driver for sony dcr-ip220 camcorder?

Home premium to Windows 7 64 bit.

    Hello Roberta,.

According to the news located here (http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-info.pl?template=&info_id=549&mdl=DCRIP220), the drivers you need "to connect your Sony camcorder to a computer and transfer files are already in the operating system.".

However, some software do not work under Windows 7, but at least you can transfer your files from camcorder to computer. You can use Windows Movie Maker or an app 3rd - party to do the work of the Sony software that no longer works.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

tried to download the driver several times but always fails at the same point installation wizard shield error 5009-0 x 8000 2802b

    Hi billy2wheels,

Exactly how you try to install the drivers?

This indicates that the Setup file is corrupted.

If it is an installation file that you downloaded, the downloaded file may be corrupted. Try to download the file again.

If it is a file on a Setup disk, contact the vendor for a replacement drive

You can download the driver from the sony below link:

  • How can I download for my sony dcr-dvd403 pmb to windows vista 36 bit

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

looking for software for downaloda pmb for windows vista for sony dcr dvd403 handycam

You have Windows Vista 32-bit and a Sony DCR-DVD403 with LCD 2.7 "...

According to the Windows Vista for Sony DCR-DVD403 Compatibility Center the device itself is compatible without any intervention on your part.  Support for any third party hardware or software is always from the hardware manufacturer or software.  It is their place to ensure that their hardware and software are compatible with the operating systems their customers use (or not to do - put an end to their support for said product and basically stating that produced a legacy package/device).

Visit Sony support web page and put in your camera model after you have selected the option for downloads, it takes a place where you can select various downloads.  Simply choose 'Windows Vista' in the menu drop-down "Select an Operating System.  Then it expans show several possible downloads to support this device in Windows Vista, including updates of Picture Motion Browser and Picture Package Sony feeding with their products.  Here are a few updates - so you will need to have a version already installed.

Notes for the Motion Picture Browser declares, "this utility updates PMB versions 1.1 to 5.8.01 and Cyber-shot Viewer version 1.0, PMB version 5.8.02..."- so I think it is reasonable to assume that, as long as you have an installed version (from the CD that came with your camera), you can use this update to bring it up to State fully patched.  Sony offers a link if you need to buy replacement CD for those that you should have received with your product.  Wow - 30 USD - they are proud of their software.  You may have more luck that many others in the research that a download legitimate to PMB is that you do not have your original CD...

  • CS4 DVD Capture files

CS4 that I need to capture the DVD segments, I created some before making a video hilite. But it won't capture to DVD vob files. I capture usually just a DV tape.

    Thank you

PrPro CS4, that about the 2nd or 3rd update (I forget now), can import 100% compatible (very important) DVD VOB. If you have not updated CS4, I do it first and then try to import the VOB into the project. This ARTICLE goes into a bit more detail on VOB using.

I also agree with Jim on the way to the source material, if possible.

  • What software is good for the SONY DCR-DVD201 camcorder?

I have a SONY DCR-DVD201 camcorder, that work very well on my old Windows XP, but I hated the ImageMixer software. For my new Windows should 7 (HP p6280t), I look for new drivers at Microsoft? SONY is a for Windows 7 yet.

Can I buy another software (except ImageMixer) which would work on Windows 7 and can access/modify my DVDs of camcorder?

When you plug it in Windows install drivers for it?  If, then you can use Windows Live Movie Maker, otherwise you will have to wait for Sony to release a Win7 driver for it.

  • Rechargeable battery NP-FH40 model for model Handycam Sony DCR-SR42E

Because I'm not able to find rechargeable battery NP-FH40 model for the Handycam Sony DCR-SR42E model in one of your stores in Delhi, what is the replacement battery model. Help, please.

Hello. The H-series batteries have been replaced by the series V so look for a NP-FVxx. The voltage may be slightly different from the original battery, but this isn't a problem. The physical difference only is the size of the center of each side of the battery tab then you might want to try before buying just to make sure it fits. I replaced my series H with V series without any problem.

  • Need updated driver for sony handycam DCR-HC36.

How to find & download driver correct & updated Update for sony handycam DCR-HC36 on my windows vista 64 bit system?

    Hi jammerdog,

According to the Sony e-support Web site: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=DCRHC36&SelectOS=42 Windows Vista & Windows 7 already have the right drivers for your handycam. However, you can click on the link above, select your operating system and download the drivers. If you then open the Device Manager, select your handycam (you will probably find it under devices in the imaging device manager) and right click on it. In the drop-down menu, select Properties. In the Properties window, select the tab drivers and check if you have downloaded the driver version is "superior" to those already installed. If the version number is the same as the one showing in the Device Manager you don't need to update the driver. If the number is greater then right-click on the handycam again option, and in the menu drop-down, select "update driver software". Follow the wizard to install the new drivers. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you create a "before" update system restore point all pilots.

  • Problem with SONY DCR-DVD650. Unable to get the finished videos transferred to my computer.

    Hello world

I have a Sony DCR-DVD650... I also use the mini DVD - RW for recording.

When I put the DVD in my computer, or you are trying to access via a USB cable connected to the camera, however there is no videos. I can clearly see the videos in the preview of my camera...
    I've also developed videos...
Solution Explorer displays a single folder which is DVD_RTAV which includes 3 other files 'VR_MANGR. BUP', 'VR_MANGR. IFO' and 'VR_MOVIE. VRO.

What I am doing wrong? And how to get these videos on my computer to be able to
Change them. Help, please! Would really appreciate it, thanks

The basis of the record that you have seen inside the disc, you saved your footage in [VR mode]. The DVD_RTAV folder that you found inside the disc is indeed the folder that contains your images, and you can go ahead and copy the contents of this folder. The more you can do with these files is to find a software that will be able to read. It is not possible to change them on a computer.

To ensure that you will not work in this problem next time, please save your videos in the standard [MOVIE mode] instead of [VR mode]. Once you have done so, you will find your images in a folder named [VIDEO_TS], and you will be able to copy and modify these files.

  • need help to connect my sony DCR-HC23 handycam to pc

    Hello
IM interesting to connect my sony DCR-HC23 handycam to my pc, so I could save / change my mini dv.
    the cam has 3 exits:
One - came out to connect to tv.
    second - a USB 2.0 A to Mini-B cable
    third a dv out.

Since I don't have a dv out and im tring to connect the cam via cable usb but nothing happens.
I have to fall on this page:
    http://www.Sony.co.in/support/FAQ/141031
Ive downloaded and now windows (windows 7 64 bit premium) recognize somethnig but in the end, I get *! * to the Device Manager and it says the material used recognized.

Anyone know what what should I do?

There is no 64-bit drivers for usb connections. What we can do is upgrade to Windows 7 Professional that can run Virtual Windows XP mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/wind... ws-xp-mode

The USBDRVEN installer will work in Virtual Windows XP and
install the drivers correctly and also a link between the installation of
Windows 7 with a virtualization USB Driver Connector.

I don't know if it will work properly with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, because I have a 32-bit computer (IBM T60P
ThinkPad running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit)

Contact Microsoft and ask questions about your particular
    computer first before you upgrade.

  • Video camera Sony DCR-SR68

I bought a Sony DCR - SR 68 camcorder opportunity, taking nice videos. The problems started when I tried to connect the camera to my computer to download videos; the computer does not recognize the camera. I bought a new power cord patch directly to parts of Sony, but it made no difference. My question is this; It had to be a software CD provided with the camera when it was purchased new one would download on your computer so that the computer will 'see' the recorded video when you plugged into the computer? Any info anyone could send me would be GREATLY appreciated! Don

So, I tried all the suggestions that have been given and; did not work. Unable to download Sony's suggested reading memories because my computer is Windows XP and download requires Vista 7 or more recent system. Have you tried the camera to the computer of a friend who is much more recent than mine but he has the last iteneration of Windows XP for the operating system, and it opened fine on his office, then that may of little help... • Sony DCR-TRV740 camcorder

You will need to transfer loads of old family videotapes of Sony DCR-TRV740 for Dell XPS430 running Vista 32 bit.

Transfer is OK with the older laptop (Dell Inspiron 8500 running XP) using the USB connection.  Can also change (slowly, poor quality) with Windows Moviemaker.

But Sony says no USB driver available for Vista. Sony suggested Firewire iLink from camera to the PC, but the camera is not recognized in the Device Manager and therefore can not transfer them to PC. Tried to import Sony Movie Studio 9 Platinum ProPack and VS Video Recorder software - recognizes neither the camera.

My question - is anyone have solution?

Would upgrading to Windows 7 works? (Professional and ultimate edition both include an XP Mode)... Fees - but who let me use the driver XP Sony? or Firewire?

Get desperate - have spent days on this skin.

You have an analog source and a system that recognizes digital.

If you happen also has a DV camera... the following articles may be the answer.

Windows Vista - import analog video to your computer by using a DV camera

Windows Vista - Toss on those VHS tapes

Capture analog video using a digital camcorder

(scroll down and read the paragraph: import analog video)

Another solution would be to buy an analog video capture device:

The following link is an example so you can see what the material looks like...

All the other standard size DVD, CD works good about it. Its complex and as well as irritating.

    Any suggestions?
    Why his messedup?

Seems that the lens cannot read this miniDVD s. Maybe cannot calibrate the lens of the drive and the miniDVD is so illegible.
Try the sascha. Maybe you are a lucky man, and it works.
If this is not the case, try to remove the drive physically from the laptop. Restart the laptop without the drive. The BIOS and Windows shouldn't t recognizes the drive.
Then stops again, put the drive in the notebook and the startup of the device.
The laptop should recognize the drive and must indicate the firmware again.
