  I found a review for this laptop, so I don't know the specs. The first SATA III support for HP laptops are series Dv6-6000, Sandy Bridge, which is the second generation of Intel processors. It starts with Core iX-2XXX. Means that your laptop is certainly a SATA II one. I got it so I know for sure.

  I'm trying to print using 8.5 "x 11" photo paper glossy in the lower tray of 250 sheets of printer HP 6988.  The Windows printer driver doesn't let me choose the lower tray when I specify the document as photo paper. Plain paper, I choose, but I print photos.

  I have 3.75 "x 6.75" FiloFax paper in the uppder tray that does NOT fit in the lower tray, so I can't put photo paper in the upper plateau.

  It is because of the mechanical needs due to the design of the status bar, it is made for plain paper only.

  I wouldn't feed an incompatible media, as this may damage the rollers... those who are not designed for this kind of paper.

  The GTX 970 and 980 GTX are based on the new Maxwell Nvidia cards with high specifications on page and good price. While they are not suitable for the power of the XPS 9100 (two GTX cards consume less energy than the 5870), I don't know if my original xps 9100 motherboard (with a bios updated from July 2014 on the site of dell driver) is compatible with the gtx 970. BIOS office 8700 recent Dell was not compatible/created a problem of black screen, and Dell has released a updated Bios updated for the 8700 in December 2014 that apparently works fine now with the 980/970 series. I wouldn't drop the $350 on a video card that didn't work with my 9100

  I use the Dell 9100 for video editing (Sony Vegas Pro 13, Hitfilm 3, NewBlue and other programs based GL/CL) works more 3d animation with iclone (who prefer Nvidia). I could probably get another year or two out of it with a newer video card... otherwise I'll put all useful to a construction of the self.

  525 Watt POWER supply was more than enough. You must use both the point 6 and point 8 plugs not one or the other. Biggest problem was to find a second source of power. The 6 + 2 plug, but don't think that the other was there. He was and is buried in the middle of a wire harness. A sheet of plain to 6 points. Just enough.

  Sorry, misread the Gen1 in your message.  Yes, the 8 Touch works with old Gen 1 MX200 of TC software running.  This is mentioned on the MX200 data sheet.  Older hardware (MX Gen1 and C40/60/90) press the 8 only and cannot be upgraded to the new software for THIS.

When a card says Cisco's fabric switch crossbar "compatible", it means that the card has additional hardware to connect to new tissue crossbar.   I started to individually test RAM when I noticed a quirk in the way they were organized in their locations.
  I downloaded the manual for my P9X79 and he confirmed that they were arranged in mirror mode.
  I switched two of the sticks to adjacent slots and, Lo and behold, the full 16 GB presented at startup.
  So that's one mystery solved at least.
  I'll raise the memtest to see if it includes several errors and if so will continue to individually control the RAM sticks.

  Yes. Do Folio doesn't have any installer.

  About Font Folio OpenType fonts are easily compatible with Windows 10 - right-click on any one of them only and select 'Install' from the context menu that appears.

  It is not mentioned in the technical data sheet because it was written before the release of Windows 10 and the product has not been updated in the interim.
