I have windows 7 pro and windows media center guide has not been updated since around July 21. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling wmc in unclicking / clicking turning functions market with no results. How can I get the updated guide updated? I also tried different zippers nothing helps.

Windows Media Center is always supported based on the operating system you are using. According to the audit with the Microsoft support lifecycle policy, if you are using Windows 7, it should be supported until January 14, 2020. You can check the information on this link.
