• Toll free number for new users

  Hi all

  My v25 update comes to pass through and the main feature of my client wanted was the ability for new users to get the latest issue for free. This feature doesn't seem to work. I the auto download button when generating App checked but when I installed it on an iPad that has never had the app before, he started an automatic download, nor was the issue available for free.

  I do something wrong or the feature does not work?

  I downloaded the application, and the first Folio free function did work for me, either. (I was disappointed that the app is named after Woodrow Wilson and not volleyball Wilson).

  I guess that you have selected the option in the tool Admin account and not just in the DPS App Builder.

  I am the Admin of my group. How to create a new user account (for other users) that accepts a default password (an I put) then ask to set up a new password?

  I don't have access to all the operating systems that are past their support life, but I thought that he used the same under Windows 7. Can you type net help user and see what it shows options available?  Maybe Vista doesn't.

  NET USER creates and modifies the user accounts on computers. When it is used

  The options are the following:

  Days can be specified or abbreviated.
  Hours may be the rating of 12 or 24 hours. For
  12-hour notation, use am, pm, a.m.., or
  h ALL, a user can still log on.

  In Windows Vista, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default. In previous versions of Windows, an administrator account was created automatically during Out-of-Box-Experience (OOBE) with a blank password.

  An account administrator with a blank password is a security risk. To better protect the system, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in all new installations and upgrades of Windows Vista.

• Failsafe wishes after "Person in this position is not available" for new user

  I have a customer running 4.0.3 with Unified Messaging Unit and they have recently added a new user who has problems. Responses of the unit after several rings when you call and give the generic "the person at bla extension is busy, please leave a message, but just as he should give the beep to record the message he gives greeting integrated security.   (Note that the misspellings and bad grammar come from the error, is not my typing :)) The SA unit shows an alias associated with the appropriate Exchange 2003 server. AD users and computers indicates that there is an e-mail account and the e-mail address is listed as SMTP tab e-mail addresses. I am not able to make changes now, but when I can I'll delete the tab list email address and add it again. If that does not do it, I'll remove the user from the unit and then AD and Exchange and re - add.

  I hope it will work, but I was wondering if anyone could help with why its giving this error or if you have other troubleshooting steps I should sue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

• Security and dell updates Computer Configuration screen new

  Hello

  A new computer, arriving today, will be a year 1 subscription of McAfee internet security. I prefer not to activate, but rather to install and use one of my 3 licenses for Norton Internet Security 2013.

  The new Configuration screens computer Dell have one called 'security and dell updates' which saves both Dell and the McAfee subscription updates. No other choice except all cannot be ignored.

  If I skip this step, (1) this will prevent activation of McAfee (if not turned on, then maybe I can leave it on the computer should I want to later uninstall Norton and use McAfee, if possible)? and (2) separately, manually register updates Dell so I don't lose this Dell Update functionality?

• Printers under the original user have the printer properties grayed out for new users, even if they are members of the Administrators group

  Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (and 32-bit) Setup on the domain.
  The domain users group is added to the local Administrators group.
  Printers are installed under the first domain user.  These aren't the printers shared, but local usb printers or printers attached to the tcpip port and driver installed.
  All right.
  Users in the second domain is connected to the computer.  They are part of the local Administrators group, because they are part of the domain users group.
  They're going to look at the properties of the printer and almost everything is grayed out.
  Why?  Because they are part of the local Administrators group, they should not have full access?
  I look at security for printers and I don't see the first person in the list because it was created with their profile, but I also see local administrators that this new user belongs to a group.  Now I can take everyone and increase the rights and then log in as a new person and they can then change the properties, but why can't new users "who are admins the" does not alter the properties?

  I have a laptop that did a test of cloud installed for the staff.

  Frvitv that tests are not related to a particular user account or an Adobe ID.  If the software has already been evaluated on a particular computer, then you will need to assess on a different computer.

  You can work with your representative commercial Adobe if you have a specific need to temporarily increase your licenses.

• Find my phone turned off and still can not activate for new user

  I bought a 6 s 64 GB Iphone to a friend yesterday and immediately restored to use for my part, but now it asks me to enter the my friend apple ID to activate, even tought "find my phone" was not enabled on this device. The thing is that my friend can't access his account from apple, since he is unable to access his e-mail account so that he can not give me the papers.

  I'll double check the IMEI on this site https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/ and it tell me that activation lock is off and the unit is ready to be used by a new user.

• "Oracle installed Base user" responsibility does not not for new users.

  We are facing problems with responsibility 'Oracle installed Base user'. This works well for existing users. When I assign this responsibility to new users, it displays error see screenshot below.

  I googled for this so that they are suggested adding CSI_NORMAL_USER or CSI_ADMIN to the user roles. even after adding user roles still faced the same question. Please suggest me on this.

• Slowness of console SCOM 2012 for new users

  We have installed SCOM SP1 2012. When we add a new user to the administration in the user role, and when the user logs on and opens the console then the SCOM console that the user works very slow. Please suggest if no update or workaround is needed.

• HP Omni 200 PC: Computer configured for HD TV as a second monitor

  I am trying to use my HD TV as a second monitor set up my TV.  My goal is to watch movies from my PC to the TV.  The Omni 200 does not have VGA or HDMI connections.  So I tried to use a 3 USB to HDMI adapter with a long (25') HDMI Cable that I connected to one of the HDMI ports on the TV for my video output.  When I tried to detect the TV as a second monitor, I got a blue screen stating my PC was a dump of data and downtime.  Maybe it's that HDMI cards drivers were not really designed to win 10.  actually, the box said it was for Win 7, 8 and Vista, but the provider told me it would work to win 10.  They insured, in fact I got the driver for Win 10 that I installed, but with my PC crashed anyway.

  I'm now considering a 3 USB to VGA instead - and using a long VGA cable to connect to my PC - it has a female connector VGA built in my opinion this solution would work.  And I would use a divider audio stereo 3.5 mm cable to connect a left and right RCA audio cable to the TV.

  Someone has an opinion on the question of whether I'd be successful before I buy these cables?  Thank you. Dan

  According to the Specifications of the motherboard , there are 2 - USB 2.0 and 1.0 on your computer 5 - USB ports.  Here is a video card that can allow you to connect to your TV.  I suggest you contact the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure it works before buy you.  This will save send back if this does not work.  I do it myself before you buy all new components.  Therefore, it is difficult to know what works today.  Technology changes so quickly.

  I have been in photography for years, but never got myself sorted to manage all the pictures I managed to take. So from Lightroom.

  I am a new machine with a fast 256 GB SSD, a 2 TB HARD drive, and a clean installation of LR. I also have a NAS I use for backups, but I won't probably LR actively talk to him because it is only accessible via the wireless network. My collection of photos is already in the order of 500 GB, in order to put all my photos on the SSD won't work.

  With this in mind, what is the best way to configure LR with this Setup to get the best performance out of it? The main purpose of the box will be for photography, so I don't mind too much if it uses most of the SSD.

• Were there an update recently that could trigger my computer load his new user profile instead of my own profile at startup?

  I get the grey Dell Inspiron screen at startup instead of my profile, and all my display settings and startup programs disappeared. This corrects sometimes when I restart and sometimes I get the grey screen again. This morning (after downloading some updates last night), I got a blue screen Uni with my own icons, but all my parameters display including my image of the office had been reset. I did a system restore once before and that fixes the problem, but the problem started again with the gray Inspiron screen yesterday.

  We have not seen messages indicating that the recent updates are causing problems to user profile, rarely if ever I heard of updates causing corruption of the user profiles.

  Common causes of corruption of the repeated profiles:

  1. bad or, failing hard drive, no spare parts no sectors left.  Run chkdsk on the drive.  Get a diagnostic utility of disk from the web site of the manufacturer of the disc and check the disc.

  2 - bad RAM, run a memory diagnostic test.

  3 - viruses and other such parasites.

  4 applications - bad or ill-conceived.

  5-bad or incomplete discharge of the user, ususally caused by #4 hive.  Something is trying to write to the user hive or maintain the registry handles open when the computer is currently stopped.  Install the Microsoft user profile Hive Cleanup service
