  I, m new here so please bear with me.  I have a PC HP Pavilion Media Center TV (m7434n) I'm trying to replace the video card (Nvidia GeForce 6200SE with Turbo Cache) in. I am trying to replace it with a Nvidia EVGA 8400GS. I delete all the nvidia drivers, make sure that the pci-e card is used in the implementation. I have then to remove the old card and install a new one. When I try to start the computer, fans turn on but that's all.  There is nothing on the monitor.  The computer does not start. I replaced the power supply bestec 300 watts with a new antec brand 430 watt power supply.  When I reinstalled the old video card, the computer starts ok. I tried to replace the video card with an ATI Radeon HD5550 too and it's the same thing (the computer would not start), reinstall the old card and it starts up fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Gary,

  You may have a compatibility issue with the ATI HD 5550 and 2006 PC model.  I've seen other posts where ATI 5xxx video card did not work in older HP PCs.

  When you are referring to the installation of the older video card do you mean going back to the integrated video card?  Moving the video cable to the card installed?

  Install the NVIDIA 8400GS and connect the video cable. Now follow the instructions for clear the CMOS.

  Songs transferred to the Clip in MSC USB mode is visible on your computer when you are connected to the computer in MSC mode. Similarly with regard to the MTP mode.  Change the settings for the USB on your Clip under it mode.

  Note that Auto will try to connect in MTP mode and then falling back to the CSM.

  One reason why many will be set to MSC mode: to be able to see all the files of all time.

• Computer does not recognize the CD/DVD drive

  There was a little crazy with my video drivers when I started first, but everything works after resetting the BIOS by default.

  I tried to install a new edition of diamond Raedon 7770 to replace my old 7570 and when I try to start the computer I get 6 long beeps and the power light flashes 6 times. Everything is plugged in right and the video card turns on. It will not be output to the screen tho and the computer does not start!

  I fixed it, the problem was the safe boot in my bios, when I disabled the system booted and worked perfectly since! Thanks for the advice tho!

  The Intel driver is only for the models with only the Intel UMA graphics adapter.

  You must live with what version of the video, Intel is in the AMD driver package.

• My computer does not recognize that I have two monitors connected.

  I have a VGA splitter cable, but even after I used the cord to connect two cords vga to a port, the computer is only noted one of the monitors. So when I go into settings to try to get them to display both, or to identify, the computer notice only a single monitor. So the problem is that my computer does not recognize that there are two put monitors in place.

  Cable splitter separates the single signal only. The computer only sees it as an output. You would need a different video card use the two forms as separate monitors instead of simply split the signal.

  Move the cursor over the video.  Right-click.  Click on settings, click on the box "don't ask again". And then click Close.  This will work.

  For some reason, always worked for me, but in the last two days, it does not work, and it seems to freeze on the

  1. did you remove Bootcamp using disk utility?

  2 have you tried local restore or recovery of the Internet? - OS X: on OS X Recovery - Apple Support . Mac with built-in optical drives may need 'Gray' disks to boot the system.

  The error message "the connection was reset" can be caused by a bug for the attack of the BEAST fix (browser exploit against SSL/TLS) that the server does not support.

  Ok. Trying to fix a friend's computer and seem to have met a strange barrier.

  Problem: The computer does not start after the bios screen.

  Details: When you turn on the computer, the compaq logo with intel inside is and has the < F1 Setup > and < F10 System Recovery > options listed as well.  And that's it as far as the computer becomes.  After that the computer just locked up, no work of buttons on the keyboard lights keyboard ect ect.  I tried the puree on the F1 key, as soon as I turn on the computer and I can handle so he can say * entering setup * but it freezes again after this point.  I already tried to eliminate the possible sources of the problem, removed all expansion cards, HDD and Dvd Rom module only disconnected, only memory (256 MB ddr 2700), power, vga and keyboard connected.  Ive also used the jumper on the motherboard to clear the cmos, hoping that would solve the problem without success.  I tried using a different memory stick and different memory as well...  Tried to use both a ps2 and a usb keyboard...
