Computer not install or uninstall.

So, my father-in-law worked as a painter in the abandoned apartments and gets to keep whatever it finds. Well, he found me a computer and I love it, but whenever I try to uninstall or install something, the computer closes the window before I still continues. Ive even tried to uninstall some programs via the Control Panel, but whenever he will first uninstall it, the window closes again. What should I do?

The first thing I would have done after that getting this computer is reset to the State of the plant. Not sure if a malicious code could even be on it.

Could you identify the make and model of the computer?

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

------------------------------------

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

  • KB938371 (do not install or uninstall) code/error 80004005

October 3, 2008, my computer displays after installing the update kb938371. As I understand it, this update is required for some future updates or service packs. I use Vista Ultimate (32-bit) with service pack 1. Recently, I had no choice but to do a full restore of my C drive. Everything works fine after the operation except that I now get the symbol of Windows Update. It wants to install kb938371. I tried to get this installed again (thinking maybe that restoration must have caused this behavior) does not. Update of the victory message: «Windows Update has encountered an unknown error...» Code: 80004005. So then I try to uninstall this update (from the list of installed updates). You choose the update and uninstall confirmation is supposed to appear never does. It won't uninstall the 1 from 10/08. I suppose that if I can't get out, then I won't be able to receive it as a new update. Here is where I'm stuck. How to solve this?
Thanks a lot for your help.   =)

  • Can not install or uninstall the CD player

I got DC drive works fine on my computer so I have upgraded to Windows 10.  I hated it, so I started Windows 7. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem I have now, but in its current form, CD player will not work. When I try to uninstall it or reinstall I get this message "the component you are trying to use is on a resource network unavailable", and he asked me to enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package "AcroRead.msi." I searched my computer and the only file that appears is that gives me a message saying 'cannot find path {file name}. Check that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'AcroRead.msi' in a folder from which you can install the prodcut Adobe Reader Xi (11.0.13). "I really have no idea what to do next. Useful ideas on how to get the drive DC works fine on my computer again?  Thank you!

You can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

  • Firefox does not, despite having worked before, and I can not install or uninstall upgrades.

Using Windows 7 Home Premium - have not had a problem prior to the opening of Firefox, but now it does not open. When I try to uninstall or install the update I get the message that I need to first close Firefox - it does not run and I rebooted and use management tasks without success. FAQ solutions all seem to require that you be in Firefox, which is not possible under these conditions.

    You are welcome.

  • HP-P2-1394: HP Solutions Framework Support will not install or uninstall

How do I manually uninstall HP Solutions Framework Support so I can install the latest version?  I need to get the latest updates of firmware for my computer.

I am running Windows 10 (64-bit), but the problem started with Windows 8.1.  When I go to the HP support to verify the updates drivers it says that I need to install the last frame Solutions from HP Support.  I have download the installer from the HP site but when I try to install it, I get the message "cannot find file hpsupportsolutionsframework.msi" - it is impossible to uninstall the existing version.  I try to uninstall from Windows Add/Remove programs and get the same error.  The only thing I've found so far is a couple of third-party software who want $30 for an uninstall program.
