• Muse CC2014 Installation - before/after Image Slider Widget

  I bought the "Avant/après Image Slider" widget a few weeks ago, but I had not yet installed. Now I can not find, so I downloaded from the section "install using Adobe Extension Manager. However, it is does not properly download to a .mulib file. Instead, it's download Adobe Extension Manager and showing only my modules Fireworks CS6-not my modules Muse CC2014. Does anyone know how to get there?

  Please make sure you that you start ZPX file using the CC extensions (not the CS6 extensions Manager) Manager this addon should show under 'Others' in the CC extensions Manager.

  Please see the detailed procedure to install it.

  1. download the ZPX file by clicking on the button "Download before/after image slider" in the link below:

  https://creative.Adobe.com/addons/patches/4860/install

  2. Once downloaded, launch the CC extensions Manager and click on install and select the ZPX file. IT will be installed in 'Other' tab

  3. Once installation is complete, please check the download folder and you will find a file named musethemesbeforeafterimageslider.mulib.

  4. double-click on the file to add it to the Muse.

  If this isn't the case, please make the CC extensions manager has to this day. You can check it from creative cloud application.

• How to add a slider widget to Adobe Muse?

  I have a form to http://www.magneticmarketing.me/logo-design.html which includes much that requires someone to assess their business between 1 and 10 in 14 categories. This looks very chaotic, as I have currently that it as a format of the General form. I would like to run all these in slider widgets? Is it possible to integrate this into the form Adobe Muse? If not, does anyone know of any third-party providers of form that would be good for this task?

  You can try to use composition and then insert the form into the target area, where user on click to trigger can access the form but it would take to create separate forms for specific sections.

  Or you can create forms and then change the action url of the form which, upon presentation, will take you to different page where the user will fill out the following form and so on.

  In both cases, you will need to create separate formulas and use them as a single form.

• Print the quiz results Slide Widget

  Hello all,.

  I'm creating a Captivate 5.5 project which will include a quiz. I would like a widget impression to become visible on the slide of quiz results only for users who obtain a pass mark.

  I inserted the printing on the slide widget and I unchecked the Visible box his "properties and created an Action Advanced named Show_Print to show." In the pass/fail Quiz preferences section, I've specified that my Action of Advanced "Show_Print" must be triggered if a passing grade is reached.

  I guess that you have attached the action advanced Quiz, Pass and Fail, preferences on Grade Crossing as event?

  This seems indeed does not work, strangely. Checked that it out and sometimes didn't even have the features to hide/show for this is.

  I could, however, reach your goal in this way:

  • I have inserted the widget on the slide to score and make it visible (kept the default label for Widget_1, not my usual workflow)
  • create a conditional tip action that checks the cpQuizInfoPassFail system variable
    • IF cpQuizInfoPassFail = 1
      • THEN continue
      • Hide from ANOTHER Widget_1
  • attach this action to the event on enter for the slide of score, the widget will now be hidden when failed

• Before and after Image Slider widget will not be displayed in the lightbox display composition

  So my project involves a major project gallery page containing several compositions display lightbox that trigger when click.

  For some reason any when I add the widget before/after Image Slider Muse - Themes in the lightbox, the widget will not be displayed on the preview or Chrome.
  Please help me and thank you.

• Muse: Ability to images of the 'Position' in a 100% width slider widget

  I'm trying to set the "Position" for the images in the slide show Basic widget.  All my images are set to "100% page width.  When resizing images for monitors of different sizes, Muse seems to place the images 'Center Center '.  I want to clarify some of the images to be "at the top left' or 'top-center' or 'bottom center' etc..

  I can do this for static pictures using the "Rectangle" tool and by filling in the form of the desired image.  I can then set the positioning.

  I tried to use the widget of composition as a work-around for the slidershow, but it can be set at 100% the width of page.

  Also, I can't crop pictures because the same thing will continue to happen, Muse is positioned just the Center-to-center image and I'll lose even more of the image.

  No idea how this could be done.  Seems simple enough, but I can't find a work around.

• Legends of slider widget

  Hello again!

  I recently found the Infosemantics slider and rotator widgets and asked if it was possible to use a slider or the CAP as a way to display the caption text or other objects.

  For example, if there is a wheel that had 5 top labels, could trigger Cap a legend should appear when turning the dial on it.

  I tried to use rollover captions, but the slider covers reversal target areas, or you can not select the slider because of the reversal.

  Any help would be really appreciated!

  Yes this is possible.

  Open the rotator widget. Go to the review section. Turn on evaluate them success or failure and choose "continually." Under success criteria choose Score greater than or equal to and drag the slider to the left (essentially meaning that whenever land button he will succeed), be sure to reset break for success criteria is running.

  Go to the tab and change the suspension settings to disable continue.

  Accept these changes, and then select the widget. In the properties panel, go to the Actions section. The action of the success of your tip Action, then cut Pause for Success/Failure captions.

  Give that a go and let me know if it works.

• HELP: Cannot change the width on the slider widget

  I downloaded the cursor library of Widget Adobe Muse and worked to change the dimensions of the cursor on my preset dimension but without success. (Here's the cursor: http://muse.adobe.com/widget/composition-slideshow-mansoor)

  I am using the 960 grid and try to snap in the outdoor bars. When I pulls to one side, keep it, but when I get on the other side, there is not, it flies right back to where it was before to it predetermined 930 width in pixels. For some reason, it won't let me go to any less than the width. Any suggestions?

  

  Check all the images within the slide and reduce their width individually be selecting them. After that, you can reduce the size of the target container.

• Hide Slide widget on question slides

  Captivate v5.5

  I have the slide number widget on my first slide, the value to display for the project - which works very well.

  However, I have a series of question slides toward the end of the project on which I posted 'Question 1 of 10 etc'.

  In these issues, I would stop the number of the slide (of the widget) being seen and then reappear again a few final slides.

  Is this possible and if yes, how would you please?

  Hi Noel,

  No problem on CP5.5. Here are the steps:

  1. On the first slide of the issue, in the face of the drawer properties go to the accordion in Action
  2. On enter (slide) select hide, then choose the label of the widget
  3. On the first slide where you want to display the widget repeat once again, this
  4. but now, choose display and choose the label of the widget

  It would have been a problem in 5.0 because you could hide the widget, but not show it again on a later slide.

  Of course, the numbering will continue all in hiding, is this OK? So if you have 7 slides and widget is hidden on slides 3-5, on slide 6 it will show 6 out of 7.

  E.g. full-page cursor width included between 0 and 100.

  I have a number of forms created with questionnaires for patients answer. A common question asks the patient to assess, intensity of pain on a line horizontal or vertical with end i.e. markers

  'No pain' at one end and "the worst imaginable pain" at the other end. The "worst imaginable pain" out 100 with increments of 1/100 would be great and 'no pain' returns zero. I would like to have a widget that I could play with (change the text, use landscape mode or portrait, change color, etc.) to replace my simple 11 key radio button object that emits only an integer from 0 to 10.

  There are available in available javascript widgets, but I'm not skilled enough to carry to a form of Adobe. Does anyone know how I could do this please? Are there examples out there that people know that I could use?

  Any help would be appreciated. I am a novice in javascript, but how to add scripts in the properties to calculate and action of the fields.

  The scale is part of the ordinary page, not the button content, but you can place as to a play button only under the button used to clicking on the icon of the button. See the mouse script to the top of the button to see how it works. This could be changed so that setting the value of text field also defines the position of the point on the scale, which is what I would normally do but I wanted to keep the demo simple. This would allow you to reset the form and the indicator properly defined, for example, or set the value programmatically or when import form data. You can replace the red dot in the icon of the button with little matter the type of indicator that you want to use.

  I am a user of a purchased slider widget control and I saw excerpts of how start with her, variables etc. Although it still seems I need extra help.

  I am creating an interaction where the student can drag the slider handle (with variable numbers defined in the settings of the widget of) and different images will display according to the number of the handle is pulled in.

  For example:

  • When the handle is pulled to 1, then a photo X will change from hidden to display.
  • When the handle is pulled to 2, then Photo X used to hide again and picture shows up and so on.
  • I wish that on the contrary happen, when you pull the rear handle to start point 0; the pictures will show and disappear but to reverse the order. (Maybe, it would be the "reverse polarity"?)

  Anyone here who knows how to do this (in exact order)? Really appreciate it!

  Hi Sandra,.

  For this interaction, firstly, you need to configure the widget so that his action of success will work continuously. We then hang in a tip read variable of the downhill Action.

  First in the component Properties of the Widget window menu, make sure that the variable has a minimum value of 0 and an maximum value equal to the number of images to display PLUS ONE. So if you have pictures of four , the minimum would be 0 and the maximum value would be 5. Set up the rest of the component options you want. I'm going to assume the name of the variable, that the slider is connected is called the cursor. This will become important when you make the fast Action.

  Go to the menu of the success and failure . By default, assess the success or failure is disabled. Click the button to turn it on. Under evaluate success or failure select continuously. Under the requirements of success choose value choose Score greater than or equal to and drag the slider to the left, so the lowest value is selected. This will cause the widget trigger its action of success on every frame of the movie (which its present on the timeline for). Turn off the failure requirements and make sure reset criteria of rupture for the success is turned on. The widget is now fully configured. Click OK to save your settings.

  In the design Captivate environment, select the widget. In the Properties Panel, select the Actions submenu. Under the successful drop-down, select Execute Advanced Action and create a new tip Action.

  You should do an conditional, Action name is not important, but don't forget to remember it. In the first decision to write the following condition under section perform the action so : cursor [variable] is less or equal to 1 [literal]

  Hide all of the images that you want to hide and show the one to display when the handle is on the first quadrant under Actions .

  Record the action and move to the next decision. Under the new decision, you will write a condition: cursor [variable] [literal] is equal to 2

  Under the action, hide and show images depending on how the interaction should appear when the cursor handle is located above the second quadrant.

  Continue to take new decisions up to the maximum number that you assign to the max value of the widget the cursor. Each action following the same model

  cursor [variable] is equal to 3 [literal]

  cursor [variable] is equal to 4 [literal]

  cursor [variable] is equal to 5 [literal]

  So on to what the last one that is (if we got six pictures):

  cursor [variable] is greater than or equal to 6 [literal]

  In the action in respect of each decision, hide and show the images.

  Record the action. Close the dialog box advanced Actions, and ensure that the right to the peak Action is chosen for the successful action slider.

  Also, be sure that the Success/Failure break subtitles is turned off.

  I tested this configuration and it works pretty well for me.

• Restart the Widget slide

  Hi all

  Thanks for the research.

  I was just curious if there was a way to create a widget that would just reread the current slide.  Essentially, at the end of each slide, I want to give the user the possibility to go to the next slide, go back a slide or restart the current slide.

  Now, I know theoretically they could just go back and then forward, but I would prefer that streamline for users and just a reset if possible slide button.

  I have a little research around this forum and google and has been surprised to not really get what it is.

  Also, as an aside, anyone else experienced problems in the strange place widgets on slide masters?  I tried to put a button 'Next' on a master slide, then link all the slides to the slide, but when I do captions on a timeline in a random slide slide one break and the button is not always functional.  I find that I could do the functional key in ensuring that this is the 'top', but that still doesn't explain why it would stop a slide in halfway with no user interaction.

  It's a widget in AS3, so it does not work in Adobe Captivate 4 AS3 projects and, of course, Adobe® Captivate® 5.

• Muse Gain circle Gallery Widget

  I'm having trouble inserting the URL link in the model of the Gallery of the circle that I bought. I tried to use PostImage.org and Flickr. I copy and paste the info and all simply, it does not show one of my photos. It's just an empty circle of reversal. (Circle Gallery demo ) Here is an example of what I bought. -Do I need to do my photos of the same size? -Do I need to make my pictures a certain minimum/maximum size? -Do I need to add image/before my url link block? -Am I just insert false information? -Is it possible to insert a gallery directly from my computer? I'm just trying to make our company Web site. Currently, our site has no slider Gallery because one I bought last time is no longer works.  I know not part of my question lack of coding expertise, but I really thought that I inserted the correct url.

  

  MuseGain responded to my questions and solved my problem.  For people who may need help, see photos below:

  I initially didn't name my photos correctly in my folder of the gallery.  It's why they didn't load in the slider widget.

  Type of gallery url in " http://yoursitenamehere.com/Gallery/" (without the "s of course)

  indicate how many photos in your gallery

  indicate what kind of pictures they are.

  

• Removing the widget breaks ability to paw through the elements

  I inherited a project of Captivate that I have to go back and to make changes to make it compatible 508 (aka accessible for people with hearing, sight, etc.).  One of the biggest complaints we have received has been the fact that there is no way to control the volume, I went and added the volume slider widget to the master slide.

  This worked well, until we learned that the volume slider widget was not accessible to the screen reader software and we need another solution.  So, I removed the slider and added two forms intelligent to act as volume up/down buttons.  Unfortunately, apparently intelligent forms are also not accessible to the screen reader, and worse, it is that remove the volume slider appears to break the ability to paw through non-interactive elements of the slides - a key component of accessibility.

  Add the cursor backwards seems to fix things, but it is a really weird problem, and I don't want to be locked in to what this cursor, because it is not 508 accessible.  Anyone know how I could take to remove without breaking the rest of the project?  And, more important still, you know anyway to add the volume control which is 508 compliant?

  I think that your customer could be "by drawing a long bow" suggest that their definition of control means that you also have the volume of the audio controlled in e-learning rather than, as you noted, allowing just the audio volume is controlled by the device or the PC on which it is displayed.

  I tend to feel that more designers of e-learning would be thinking "control" of the media includes the option to start playback, pause, resume, etc..  Otherwise, no control also be analyze as meaning keyboard actions should also be able to change the height, width, image format, brightness, color, etc. etc.  Where is the limit?

  At any given time you draw a line so DEFINE what control actually includes or does NOT include.

  I have personally seen no reference in 508 documents related to e-learning which says, it must include the ability to control the volume.  That's why I asked for a referral link, just in case it is now required some changes to the laws.

  I would like to push back on this one.  Customers can not always get what they want just because they ask for it.

• Adobe Muse before and after changes in the size of the Widget by itself

  Hello everyone. I started learning Adobe Muse and so far I like it a lot. I downloaded a free Adobe Muse of https://musefree.com/before-after-slider widget

  I seem to have a problem with this widget because it continues to change my size of the specified object by adding pixels. If someone could help me with this, I would be very grateful.

  Here's a screenshot of my Page Properties window. The images, I try to combine for the front / after comparison have a ratio of 2:1.

  

  After that specifying the size of the widget in the transformation Panel and pressing on enter, the pitch changes automatically on 654 pixels for the widget and height Minimum of Page. I am struggling to understand why this is happening. I tried the width and the height of blocking, but I always get the same result. I'm relatively new to Muse, so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Maybe that's a problem of widget? How can I ensure that the object remains in a 2:1 ratio?

  

  I use Adobe Muse CC 2015 on a Windows 8, 64-bit machine. Thanks in advance for any help.

  I don't think that you will be able to use such a thing on Behance. You must validate as two separate files. You may want to confirm that by asking on the forums of Behance.
