  • Why my sons computer sound

I just did a complete format and reinstallation of Windows XP on my computer son, Windows installed perfectly. / its gateway 500 according to the representative of the bridge I chatted with then I downloaded the drivers that I needed their site, everything works except the sound, whenever I click on the volume icon it tells me there is no installed audio mixing table and I have to go to the control panel and install a the computer does NOT have a sound card, it uses the internal speakers of the sound and external. I tried all the sound drivers I can find on the Internet, none of them work, but before I rebooted the computer the sound worked.

This is the third thread, that I had to start bugging you guys on his computer and I'm about to scrap for parts.

I have tried everything what do always no sound on the sound decision-making, not of conflict, nothing, not even a screen blus telling me I did something wrong: (.) So I reinstalled sound card again and windows has its perfect.

I got all the drivers of the bridge, which took me if a long time rethinking the video drivers

  • I can't configure the external Vantec NBA-200U on my computer sound card.

I can't get sound to work with this surround sound card. I have a 5.1 speaker logitech set hung up (via green, black and orange connectors for audio 5.1).  In the audio Panel in windows 7 (64 bit), on the reading tab, I see the USB audio peripheral speakers. When I set up the speakers and test them from the speaker configuration panel, I hear sound from right speaker when testing each. BUT when I play I can't hear the music by L R (stereo) speakers.

Side note: when I plug the external sound Windows card automatically installs the driver. If I install the driver on the cd so I get an additional device in the audio Panel in the Read tab. This device cannot be configured. But when it is installed and I'm trying to set up the speakers and test (same as above) I can get stereo sound.
Anyone out there have any ideas?

  • I have a NVidia GTS450 with HDMI output. When I connected it I had sound & vision. After the first time that I turned off the desktop computer sound options just told me THAT HDMI is not connected?

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. It does not seem to recognize the connection although it is really connected and one / v amp is running. I get the desktop on the HD TV but no sound.

    Hello

By default the Vista transmits no sound on HDMI output.  To change this to change the settings in the control panel.

Note: This will turn off sound from speakers or normal audio output on the laptop.  To get that back, you will need to reverse this process.

    a. click on the button 'start '.

    b. click on 'control panel '.
    c. with the control to the "Control Panel Home" Panel, click on 'hardware and sound '.
    d. where it says 'Sound' in green letters, there are three options below that are in blue, click on "manage Audio devices.
    e. This will bring up a window titled "Sound".
    f. on the tab 'Read', he has listed the sound options at your disposal. It should read "peripheral digital output (HDMI)" click on it.
    g. There should now be a checkmark on this option.
    h. the sound should play through your HDMI connections to the TV.

  • For computer sound driver laptop HP DV4-1280us moved

I installed Windows XP SP3 32 bit edition.

I downloaded the official audio driver IDT high definition of

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?OS=2093&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us β = en & product = 3860480 〉

After extraction, I see clearly that driver WinXP is inside one of the folders.

However, when I run the installation wizard, it says that my system is not the necessary equipment.

Any thoughts? Or did I use the wrong driver? but it is the audio driver only listed on the support page for driver DV4-1280us.

    Thank you

I guess I should have done this a long time ago!

    Hello

    1. which version of the windows operating system is installed in the computer?

    2. have you made any changes to the computer?

    Method 1:

If you use windows vista and windows 7, I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
