• Problem with 5.2 and computer ThinClient view double screen

  Hello

  When I try to use the double screen with Windows 7, PCoIP Protocol and a computer ThinClient Fiju FUTRO S900 (3.8.0) it doesn't.

  The office is just mirrored between the two screen but it is impossible to extend the desktop. I can't change the display settings in Windows and as much as I know there is no GPO that prevent to do.

  When I connect to this virtual machine with View Windows Client it works.

  Any help?

  I found the solution.

  Setting the screen must be configurerd on the display of the computer ThinClient S900 preference.

• Re-use PCs as computer ThinClient with backup Windows 7 local installation

  Hi all

  The administration wants to try to move all public machines to use VMware View but worries about this defect while they want a local installation of Windows 7 on the boxes in an emergency. What would be your suggestions to take a Dell Optiplex 790 and act as a default computer ThinClient but have the option to connect to a local Windows 7 installation if needed?

  In the past, we have reallocated older Dells with a local installation of XP using this configuration

  He basically calls customer view as default shell instead of Windows XP explorer.exe and if someone leaves out of the customer view that is called right back up. We have used a local group policy to cut the user's ability to use 'Ctrl + Alt + Del' so that they could not get into the Task Manager and run explorer.exe (or control panel or regedit etc...) but which proved a bit problematic if we wanted to make changes to the underlying XP install, we had to start mode without failure and set explorer.exe as shell by default... blah blah, blah...

  Any suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

  We use VDI of DevonIT blaster on our machines reassigned. We do the installation where it erases the hard drive and you can start only for the Thin Client but they have an installation option to do a dual-boot with the existing operating system. Very easy to install to Pop in the CD and a few clicks later, you're done.

  Having said that I prefer using the customer base material zero thought. Make management easier, faster start-up and low energy consumption are some of the benefits of the zero clients.

• Keyboard with computer ThinClient problem

  I use Fufi FUTRO S900 computer with VMWare View 5.2 ThinClient.

  Windows 7 virtual machines are french language and the keyboard layout is French (Switzerland).

  The keyboard works fine except for a specific key (the one with!) » ¨]). When users press this key tidy happened. When users press the button in the OS ThibnClient (not in the virtual machine), it works. When the user to connect to this virtual machine of VMWare View Client for Windows, it works. We use PCoIP.

  Any idea?

  I tried HP, Compaq and Logitech keyboard (ps/2 and USb) :-)

  I finally found a solution.

  On the Futro, I need to configure the keyboard for the German (Switzerland).

  After this change my key work in virtual machines and my keyboard is French (Switzerland).

• HP T610: Devicemanager 4.7 SP3 and SP4 break computer thinclient HPDM agents

  After update for HP Devicemanager 4.7 SP3 (and also SP4), it seems that the agent update task is broken. He pointed out that the update is successful, but the client does connect to Device Manager more. When you use the applet of the control panel HPDM Agent it does report no version number. Displaying the services applet, it seems that the service Agent of HPDM disappeared.

  Looks like the update task is seriously broken. Worse, it is that it does not include a complete agent installation, so how can I reinstall the agent now on the ThinClients?

  Hi Chen,

  I had to use the Sysinternals Process Explorer to see what process has the file LIBEAY32. DLL in use, it has not been shown in diskactivity of the resource managers.

  I finally found the culprit! It seems that the Service of Proxy SSL VNC keeps the file open and it is not clogged up by the update agent package. When stop VNC SSL Proxy Service and by applying the agent to update manually then it works fine.

  So I created a group of settings which first disbales the Service of Proxy SSL VNC. Then I send the agent update task. Then the update is done correctly.

  Looks like a problem with the package to update the agent that is not stop or disable the Service of Proxy SSL VNC before replacing files including LIBEAY32. DLL.

  Does anyone know where the file that manages the configuration of the appearance of the Citrix Receiver on the Smart zero Core OS screen?

  I was able to change the background, add my logo and other things but I would like to change the background color green on the part of logon window, if I could make transparent would be great, but that Green does not seem to match the value default bubbles green bottom of Citrix.

  I delivered 5 virtual desktop to my user using composer in test mode. everything was fine, but when my user logs on to one of the vdi, the vdi shows some c and d ' training and other readers who are Office-based (thin client) can any body I say how can I avoid this for this user, not able to access the caces thin readers.

• HP Easy tools - connection refused error

  Hi all

  can we use easy tools to upgrade the Os of our thin client versions. I did the following steps and

  1 downloaded the new WES2009 image for t5740 and it suited our needs

  2. I captured the image thinclinet (t5740, wes 2009) with HP EASY TOOLS to the FTP - successful (2 GB image file)

  3 deployed to an another computer thinclient (t5740, wes 2009 + has only HPDM, EASY TOOLS INSTALLED) with tools easy hp - success

  4. now, tried to install on thinclients (t5740, wes, 2003, no. HPDM AGENT & EASY TOOLS) & t5740 wes 2003 - FAILED

  Here is the log file...

  Send the file < filename.img > image

  Connection refused

  Couldn't something on ther service manual. Can someone tell me what service (hpdm officer or easy tools) should remote thinclients run so that we can deploy the image using HP EASY TOOLS.

  Could someone help me please I have to upgrade all of our WES 2003 thinclients to WES2009

  If you want to deploy an image using Easy Tools, thin clients HP target must also have HP Easy Tools installed. If you deploy an image using HPDM then target clients must also have DM HP installed.

  Also have you tried HP ThinState? It uses the USB disk to the image of your thin clients.

• HP t5740e Embedded W7 - failed to access my music/photos/videos

  I bought a HP t5740e computer ThinClient, disabled EWF file protection, rebooted the computer, removed "User", removed the 'Administrator' password, but I still cannot access folders my videos/music/images found in "My Documents". They are locked, and I keep getting rejected. Is there anything I can do about it? The OS is completely fresh, unapdated, nothing installed, etc.

  I also noticed that there is no icon "Trash" available. What gives? :-)

  Could you please download the controller.conf under masterrepository folder and take a screenshot of the master repository configuration dialog box?

• Parameters of the T610 IE not taking effect

  Here is some basic information:

  -HP T610 with WES7 6.1.701.279 (I think that the latest version)

  -SP 2 4.5 HP Device Manager

  Capture image and image deployment are not a problem.

  But last week I tried to change the homepage of a particular Web site. I created the task has sent all of the T610 (16 unit). The task ends well, but when I went to check the computer thinclient. The IE homepage is still pointing to HP Web site.

  The strange thing is that, initially, I had it work without problem. (5 weeks ago)

  Now it no longer works. Anyone could shed some light on this issue?

  Also, I applied the tak to the user account.

  The unattend file used for sysprep is probably reset.  Change c:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep_unattend.xml before the capture of your image on the home page of your choice.

  I checked the C660D on the Web from Toshiba site specifications and it has REALTEK 802.11 (B/G/N) 13CH-RTL8188CE inside.
