    Who does not work with a named column template customized. You must calculate the sum in the report query and place the result in the report by using another conditional model.

  • Mapping to the signals and initial Conditions in a simulink model

    Hello world.  I am pretty competent with old Simulation Interface Toolkit (SIT) and I am moving to Veristand.  I have some basic questions that I think that know the answer, but who want to do some checks.

    First of all, when you map signals, such as the output of a block check, is it possible to make them available for mapping other that mark the test points?  At the bottom of this page, it is a bit ambiguous, but it seems to suggest that if I disable optimization option will appear any sudden without needing me to mark all test points.  The I am referring to something specific is the following, "Certain optimizations that you activate in Simulink can make a not available in NI VeriStand signal. You can disable these options for the entire model to all the signals available to probe, but the model memory footprint increases accordingly.  Alternatively, you can mark individual signals as test points in Simulink to maintain a very reduced memory footprint by keeping test-point available signals to probe. »

    My second question is in what regards the "initial condition" parameters  There was a problem in SIT (although National Instruments has not agree with me at the time that it was a problem), where you can map the controls to these settings, but at the moment where you have been given access to the model, the initialize function had already been called, which means that your maps were useless.  I see that I can still map to these settings in Veristand, and I wonder if the same problem exists.  I'm not quite to the point where I can start trying to change these but I'm hoping to avoid the days of debugging, I lost on this whole by learning to SIT.

    As a follow-up on the second question, to SIT, I could find the C code (located in nidll_main.c) that was called whenever the 'play' button and add a second call to the initialize function.  So let me change the initial conditions without recompiling my entire model which, in my case, would be unworkable. If this problem still someone was able to implement a similar solution?

    Optimization, you can disable in Simulink (TM) I believe is called Signal storage reuse. To my knowledge you either need to use individual test on son points, or you must disable overall re-use of storage of signal for your model.

    Regarding the second question, the question still exists in NI VeriStand. This is something that we are aware of what we expect to address in a future version of NI VeriStand. The workaround you describe might possibly work if you do enough digging in the C code. Currently VeriStand charge and then initializes the model at the same time, and initializing code can read the values of model parameter. If you check out this code and move to the first call to the main function of the calendar, you could allow for the adjustment of the parameters of the model before the model starts.

  • Is it possible to include a model of calc Manager after an if condition in a rule of calc?

    Hello!

    I'm trying to create a rule that would first check if certain conditions (pitfall) are met.

    If the condition is true then the rule should go and calculate using a model with different parameters PDT.

    If the condition is not met, then something else is made.

    I test this because I should develop the same kind of solution for another case where the model is much more complicated. Basically, the problem is the same.

    Before you run a rule with a model, a condition to be tested and if the value of CAP are models of should not be executed.

    Here's the rule as we see calc (script edit mode) (Version 11.1.2.3) Manager

    ('Work'

    IF ("Volume"->"BegBalance"-> "DriverSelection"->"LOC"->"real"->"No_Product"->"No_Entity" <>6)

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate1",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[[{GV_Year}]],"ScenarioPara":=[["forecast"]],"VersionPara":=[["working"]]))

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate1",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[["FY16"]],"ScenarioPara":=[["budget"]],"VersionPara":=[["working"]]))

    ON THE OTHER

    / * STARTCOMPONENT: FORMULA * /.

    "7654321"-> "BegBalance"->"LOC"->"real"->"No_Product"->"No_Entity" = 6;

    / * ENDCOMPONENT * /.

    ENDIF;

    );

    The explanation of the above rule:

    It should 1st check-if a Show Stopper has to value (6)

    If is not equal to 6, then it is and should be aggregations as expected.

    If the show stopper (can find value 6 to the intersection of the cross-dimension), then it should set 6 to another intersection as a control point.

    The model includes an aggregation that is made for different combinations.

    The model script is the following ([YearPara], [ScenarioPara] and [VersionPara] are promtps of design time that can be set when you use the template in a rule):

    Fix ([YearPara], [ScenarioPara], [VersionPara], "EUR")

    AGG (product, entity);

    endfix

    This rule does not, validate because the Manager of calc seems to find something wrong with the ")" at the end of the if condition. (line 2 to the rule)

    I see the calc Manager displays error messages that aren't the real cause of the problem.

    Is simply because the template has fixes and they occur after the fi condtion test?

    For comparison, I have a separate rule where I have only two lines:

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate1",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[[{GV_Year}]],"ScenarioPara":=[["forecast"]],"VersionPara":=[["working"]]))

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate1",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[["FY16"]],"ScenarioPara":=[["budget"]],"VersionPara":=[["working"]]))

    This rule works without any problem.

    looking forward for your comments

    Kind regards

    user637777

    Hello!

    Had, it works:

    The reason for not working had patches after if test condition:

    Now the rule looks like this: (used a slightly altered version parameterless template)

    ('Work'

    IF ('Volume '->' BegBalance'-> ' DriverSelection '-'LOC'-> 'real'-'No_Product'-'No_Entity' > > > <> 6 ' ")

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate2",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[[{GV_Year}]],"ScenarioPara":=[["forecast"]]))

    %Template(name:="CMTemplate2",application:="MyApp",Plantype:="plan1",DTPs:=("YearPara":=[["FY16"]],"ScenarioPara":=[["budget"]]))

    ON THE OTHER

    / * STARTCOMPONENT:SCRIPT * /.

    "7654321"-> "BegBalance"-> "LOC"-> "'real '->' No_Product-> 'No_Entity' = 6;

    / * ENDCOMPONENT * /.

    ENDIF

    )

    Model is as follows:

    IF (@ISMBR ([ScenarioPara]-> [YearPara]))

    @IDESCENDANTS ("product");

    @IDESCENDANTS ("entity");

    ENDIF

    So resolved for this case...

    But the other cases I have bugs that I can't go around with IF (solution @ISMBR.

  • modification of data cm14 models: badges (logos) conditional

    So the end of the game is that on the existing forms of cm14 we will need to insert conditional badges. I've seen some articles on how to do this with a new shape with the Word add, which seems to be another question, I'm going to.

    The solution I thought of is:

    1. create a field (or table) within the existing proj db

    2 edit model of data to include the url field in dataset (DM_DAI01a) renamed it

    3. change the sample data to populate the new field

    4 Insert the image using an attribute of field (text field inserted to show the value after that I was running into issues, also)

    5. overview with sample data and get the result I'm looking for

    6. save the model and raise it in cm14 when hit print or print preview (daily logs of reports). no url is in the text field, or that the image is not visible (white space)

    Notes:

    1. If I create a separate I dataset and join them I get an error when I go to preview before printing.

    2. If I take the dataset sql and run the query on the ms sql database, I get back, I expect.

    Don't know if I am missing a step or what, but any which way on editing of existing data models CM14 I think would be useful

    Just in case someone comes all this. It is, in my opinion, the best way to have conditional badges for each workstation without a lot of rework whenever you have a new project/job

    create custom fields for a logo/badge url (make sure you have enough characters) - cm ui

    Update field in each proj on the custom fields tab (should be a url) - cm ui

    update of the data (except with regard to trials) model - bi

    update the sample data with the new field - bi

    Open the form (except with regard to trials) - bi

    Insert the image using field, which will be the url (custom field). -bi

    Save the form - bi

    test - cm ui

  • Apex 4.2: Condition PLSQL gantt

    Hello

    I have a plugin of Gantt chart and a list of filters in a sidebar. If the query returns no data, I want to gantt chart to disappear (as otherwise it does is display a pie chart and the words "loading data" indefinitely) ideally I would return a message that says: "sorry, your query did not return any results.

    I approach this by putting a condition against the region (type: function body PLSQL returning a Boolean value). I'm never quite clear on the difference between a PLSQL function and a PLSQL expression, but I tried the two different forms.

    This is my code:
    DECLARE
    NUMBER of myNum2;
    BEGIN
    Select count (*) in the myNum2 of AA_WL_ACTIVITIES3
    where (activities_key =: P0_KEYPROJECT or: P0_KEYPROJECT is null)
    and (activities_parent =: P0_PARENTCHILD or: P0_PARENTCHILD is null).
    IF myNum2 = 0 THEN
    RETURN FALSE;
    END IF;
    END;
    He hides the area at any time. If I change the code to read "IF myNum! = 2 THEN' - then he also hide gantt chart.

    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    The body of the function does not return a value which will result in the region displayed under any circumstances. In this case a Exists (SQL query returns at least one row) condition by using just the query appears most appropriate:

    select null from AA_WL_ACTIVITIES3
    where (activities_key=:P0_KEYPROJECT or :P0_KEYPROJECT is null)
    and (activities_parent=:P0_PARENTCHILD or :P0_PARENTCHILD is null)

    To do this, you create a named column (model line), not the generic columns (column model).

    Front of the lines

    Model of line 1

    After the lines

    #1#
    #2# #3# #4#

    Reference COLNUM not allowed in the column template Condition field?

    I do not suspect. Only #ROWNUM # is mentioned in the online help for column/line template Expressions. #COLNUM # is indicated only in the column/row templates themselves.

    (Always post sample layouts using \
