  Hi guys,.

  Just signed up because I have to ask if our company can use our microsoft for exchange server emails on the BB bold 9700.

  At present, our company uses a Nokia E71.

  This has been implemented with microsoft exchange, so that emails sent to the server will be automatically sent on both phones.

  We had to put in address e-mail, username, password, access point, address of the exchange server, domain etc.

  We are currently on the Orange network in the United Kingdom and was told by them that we can use the BB to access our emails.

  When we put out this contract 2 years ago we could not get the emails to the blackberry phone unless we used the Blackberry exchange server.

  Is what I would like to know, can we set the BB to access our emails from our microsoft exchange server, and if so where can I find a way to implement.

  If this cannot be done, we need to know now before upgrade us all phones of the company.

  E-mail message is automatically delivered to the BlackBerry smartphone once the account is integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service. Using the BlackBerry Internet Service there is no way to update the calendar wireless, you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to synchronize. The only way to get wireless calendar synchronization using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server or BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express

  Can someone help me with the configuration of email? When I go to email accounts configuration page, it explans that I can activate my business account by entering my address and email activation password. I'd be happy to do it, if I had a company account, which I believe (could. wrong) is that companies are using. I'm just a regular user, do not not the phone via my company - but I can't see another option on the configuration page.

  What Miss me? is there another way I can configure e-mail?

  With respect, there are two services in the world that use carriers.

  1 BIS (Blackberry Internet Service)

  2 BES (Blackberry Enterprize Service)

  You better call your carrier that what data plan I have. BIS or BES. Once confirmed, then I'll guide more according to your quiery than how to enable e-mail

  I got my BB for 3 weeks and I like... I'm a bit paranoid about excessive bills. (Will have to make sure that I understand what functions are covered by the contract and I pay through the nose for.) At least on my point of view.

  I created my gmail email using the email configuration feature. Was actually very easy. However, I don't remember my user name or password to get back in. (all I wanted to do was to add a signature rather than the default "email sent using Blackberry on orange" at the end of emails).

  Is anyway to reset it? If I could at least remember my user name I could recover my password - but I tried every username I can think and not joy. Anyone would be able to suggest something? If this isn't the case, Blackberry would be able to help me? It is not an earth shattering the problem I can get and send emails at the moment. However, I hate not having full access because of my own stupidity to not write the PW and UN and store them safely.

  I was able to transfer all my details of my Pearl to my Storm 9530 new using the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

  That said, I try to activate my email on the storm and it's my butt.  The tutorial works through the implementation of e-mail and ask for an email address again mine never gets to this point.  It requires an account name and password and I'm not sure if this is my email address or what.  Whenever I try to aadd a name and a password, it is said that this PIN is already associated with another account or something like that.  I never get to the point where he asks me an e-mail address.  Any ideas or pointers out there?  Thank you

  I have a TORCH (software 6.0 Bundle 3049) with App World installed 3.0.0.73 from Blackberry Desktop Software.  I have download the updates and App World indicates that a new version is available 3.1.2.32, I download the new version and App World Spear is no longer.  In other words, I click on the world icon, and nothing happens.  I'm going to BB Desktop Software, delete App World, re - start the phone and re - install the 3.0.0.73 and functions of the App World.  In other words, until the App World informs me that a new version is available for the update and I can choose 'Update' or 'Close' and the cycle repeats.  I have 18 months left on my contract with Bell Mobility and I was kind of hoping that BB would fix it so I won't be too miserable until I can update an iPhone.

  I talked to Bell Mobility and that they me related to BlackBerry (RIM). The technical expert has helped me greatly.  I downloaded the software, saved my camera and reloaded the software bundle.  I won't go into details, it is best done with the advice of an expert.  Then, call your provider.

  But App World works perfectly now. So, all well that ends well.  I don't know if I will "jump" to an another unti now that my BB Torch works well again.

  FYI, the assistance was FREE!

  Help I have a new BB bold 9900 and whenever I try and put in place and go to app world it always tells me "BalckBerry App World struggled to connect to the Blackberry app world of broadcasting. "Check your network connections, and then try again" WTH does that mean? the world of the app is down? What is my 9900 connections?

  I have a Bold 9700 running on the Telstra network (Australia).

  My App World it tells me I have 5 apps requiring only upgrades. Those who are BlackBerry Messenger BBM Music, Bubble Birds, Facebook and Windows Live Messenger.

  However, I updated and rebooted my phone on all these improvements. On the screen to upgrade in the App World, it provides the version number that the app will go to (for example with Facebook, it says v.2.0.0.58) and when I upgrade, I like that v.2.0.0.58 is already installed, which means that the update has been installed correctly, and after doing the upgrade, and enter the application for the first time I had again to accept the terms and conditions.

  How can I get App World Register that these improvements have actually been downloaded?

  It's really annoying me!

  Try this-

  When your device is turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery. This do a reboot your device that minor problems with the BlackBerry.

  Every time for these last days, I tried to connect with my Blackberry ID to the application level, but the system won't let me. A window saying 'an error occurred. "Please try again later ' appears ALL-WEATHER!

  I even try to remove and re-install APP WORLD, but without success.

  I don't know what to do, Please HELP!

  Just create additional business e-mail account, although in the setting of the screen, it shows as successful the e-mail for the new a/c icon appears anywhere on the screen?  Curve 9360

  Open your main Messages folder > Menu key > Options > Inbox management.

  Do you see this new account in the list of e-mail account? Uncheck the box to have a single folder for this new account icon.

  If not, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  I want to develop a simple application for blackberry that allows me to send and receive data from a MySQL server. I don't know if Java Mobile Programming, but know that I need some kind of web service/servlet.  I tried to find out how I can do this in tutorials and forums of blackberry, but without success. Basically I want to query a MySQL database from a blackberry and want to the returned result. Is this possible? Can someone point me in the right direction of any tutorials/sample code?   I want to move my old 8900 MyCast Weather on my new 9550 but App World will not produce a new license code and continues to fed the former.  I followed the procedure below has been proposed by Garmin several times and installed, reinstalled, deleted, battery pulls and everything I can think of and nothing works.    Sure would appreciate any suggestions.

  The user goes to a new BlackBerry:

  If the user tries to download App World for the new device and newspapers by virtue
  their PayPal account, you can reinstall each element individually.
  Once installed, the status changes to "installed".  If the user had
  free trial / elements on the previous device, they have to redownload them
  Once again.

  If the status of an item appears as "Not available for this device", the
  point is not compatible with this model of BlackBerry.  If it turns
  available for this device later, the status changes to "uninstalled".
  and it can then be put back.

  The license key will be different for the new device because the PIN on
  the device is different.  The new key is located in the App World of
  choose My-Cast Weather since My World tab.

  Got a new Garmin code that has worked.   Really appreciate the good service from them.   Hopefully RIM will correct the problem with AppWorld soon.   Thanks again for the help.

  I have not seen this problem.

  I have 3 email accounts, and I have an icon for each.

  All of a sudden, my records for all 3 e-mail accounts, SMS messages and display only incoming emails for one of my 3 email accounts.

  The icons are stove display how many new messages is in each e-mail and SMS accounts. However, when you click them they go on the account of an email that clearly "took over" the other email account and SMS folders,

  Any weird problems like this, first make a restart: with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
