Configuration of mutiple files

Dear team.

I have a cisco switch 3560 and I want to store several files of configuration to the same switch.

share the steps how to do.

Simply copy the startup of a new file on flash configuration

copy the startup-config flash: / somefilename

When you want to activate the new configuration:

copy flash: / somefilename running-config

There is not much information in the doc around the new configuration of static file.  Someone at - it an example of this dads.conf he file should look similar to static files?  Everything else seems to work fine - it's my only hang up now.

    Thank you!

    Exact pop-up message:

There are problems with the configuration of static files in your environment.  Please see the section "Configuration static file Support" in the Guide of the Installation Application Express

I figured it out on my own - the doc has a section "6.5.4 configuration Support for static file" which basically said yes, it is now supported for static files, then a "see also:" link to the dads.conf section, that I'm not good enough to see there are now 2 new parameters in your dads config file...  All is ready!  It works!  YAY!

    Hi all

My App adf deployment fails with the following error. Although until yesterday, it was a failure, but at least it was going much further than that. What is causing this error? I make changes to the file config.xml, and then restored. Any help is appreciated. This is crucial.

You have a faces - config.xml in the directory WEB - INF file?

You probably have something like the following in your web.xml file:

        com.sun.faces.config.ConfigureListener

You have this class in the classpath? The jars containing this class are presented here: http://www.findjar.com/class/com/sun/faces/config/ConfigureListener.html

  • Configuration of scan file on HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw

    Hello

I'm trying to set up my printer to scan to a network folder.

    HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw

    OSX 10.9.4

WLAN (printer and office on the same network)

Here's the problem; No matter what I try, I can't have the printer to scan directly to a network folder.

When you test the connection I get either the ' invalid password or username "or the error"unable to connect to the network folder.

It seems that the biggest problem is the printer in the right network folder referring.

I shared the folder, but I can't get a valid path name, that apparently.

    Show folder properties: / Users/vdlely/Dropbox/max verhuur/Scans

Obviously, this is not complete; I need to add the location of the machine, such as: //iMac-van-AJ/Users/vdlely/Dropbox/max verhuur/Scans right?

No matter what combination I try, nothing works. I used the name of the computer, IP, with and without login etc etc.

What is the correct path in my case?

It would be MUCH easier if you have added a simple browser to navigate to the correct location.

Please help me to set up right.

    Hi @Aernoud,

I see by your post that you are having problems for parsing of the configuration of the network folder. I can help you with this.

I have provided a document to configure network scanning.

How to perform a scan: from the control panel (including the Scan to Email, in PDF format, and to a network folder).

    Please try the following steps:

    1. create a new folder on your computer.

    2. right-click (CTRL left click if you use the keyboard of the Mac) and select read.

    3. unlock the screen, set all term read/write &, located under the share permissions &.

    4. enter in System Preferences > sharing, then select, sharing files in the left bar.

    5. click on the Options button, mark the share files and folders using SMB (Windows) and click done.

    6. under shared folders, click the sign more and select the configured folder.

    7. ensure that "everyone" permissions are set to read & write under the list of users as well.

    8. you will see the IP at the top of this screen, make a note to configure the EWS page.

I think that in consequence of this model of path, you should be able to implement.

Name of the computer or IP address/Shared-folder-name of the computer

    or

-The computer name or IP name of the computer-folder-address\Shared

Find out what the name of the computer as follows:
Go to the Apple/Mac/More report information software/system about / click on the left side on the right side, it should show the name of the computer.

NOTE: The folder must already exist. You cannot create the folder in the built-in Web server.

To find the path of the folder where the scanned images are saved, hold CTRL and click on new folder
created / click on get info/verify shared folder/then copy it to the folder path.

User name - the name that you use to connect to the computer.

Password: the password allows you to connect to the computer.

Please let me know if it worked.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I am in the recovery of the system, which I have to by selecting f8 and "repair your computer", and after taking me to a window that says "select an oprerating system to repair...." If you don't see your operating system listed, click load drivers to load the drivers for your hard disks'.  Then when I click load drivers he wants me to select a file in System32 menu configuration information, but I don't know what to choose.

    Thank you

    Hi centi,.

    1. Why did you start the windows recovery environment by pressing the F8 key?
    2. do you get an error at startup of the system?

If you are unable to start Windows in normal mode, try the following steps:
    a. boot to the Windows recovery environment by pressing the F8 key.
    b. on the window that says "select an operating system to repair" click Cancel to see Windows Recovery Options window, and then select command prompt.
    (c) in the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER: Bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd
Output Type d and hit enter to close the command prompt.
    f. restart the computer in normal mode and check if the computer starts Windows successfully.

  • Error message from the computer - SHWICONXP9106 - Load Configuration of the file has failed

I got my Windows 7-64 bit system, which is now 13 months old, lock upwards and closed twice in a week.  I get a strange error message that says "SHWICONXP9106 - load Configuration File Failed".  It seems that this is a card I ever use.  It is a work computer that I rarely do anything whether online with.  He did re - starts and begins to funny click on my Tower.  It takes in telling the system to start windows normally and after stopping power, twice, I can get it to restart very well.  can someone let me know if I need to get a new hard drive again?  This system is only 13 months old?

If you do not, you might want to see if it can be disabled at startup:

    1. Press simultaneously on key Windows + R .

    2. type MSConfig in the box, and then click OK.

    3. Select the Startup tab.

    4. find SHWICONXP9106 (if its there) & uncheck the box against it. Click OK.

5 reboot & see what happens.

  • Import a Configuration of PeopleSoft file - Sever application name does not

I support an environment in which run us multiple PeopleSoft applications that our developers/firstlinesupport need access from the same set of tools to connect to AppDesigner/query/nVision on various databases associated with applications.  To do this, we have been launching since their office batchfiles that import different through psfg configuration files and importing these *.cfg files and then launch the application on the desktop.

Currently we are being upgraded to 8.53.16 to our applications and this process still works for the most part, except for those that connect through the application server.  Now, when import us configuration files complete with sections for ApplicationServer connectivity, the connection information for the application server does not appear in the name part of the login screen Application Server.

Someone else has a similar configuration or have indications as to why this is happening?  Thanks in advance

There is a small change in the syntax of the file export/import to 8.53.

Tags section [Application Servers\DOMAIN] changed to [application853\DOMAIN servers]

You should be able to edit this by hand to fix or you can also enter again your configs and export with 8.53 to make sure everything is just right.

  • Cannot access tab 'Configuration' printer "PostScript File"

When you use the "PostScript File" printer in InDesign (for Mac), the 'configuration' tab fields are inaccessible, and I can't change the orientation, paper size, or use the scale to adapt the service (please see the reference image).  I was wondering if there was a reason for this, or if someone could help me?Screen Shot 2015-10-12 at 11.30.22 AM.png

You choose the option 'device independent' your PPD file. Size of the page being an option device-dependent, it is not applicable. If you want to make PostScript for a specific purpose (and most people do), use a specific PPD. 'Device independent' is really just a useless default.

When I get to the screen where it asks "Do you want to create a new configuration or load a saved?", I chose to load a saved configuration, typied in the database connection information (ebsdb.sparkdb.com:PROD:1521) and get the following error. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I am able to ssh to ebsdb to ebsapps and vice versa, and the database and listener is in place.

  • Virtual Machine Configuration to change file

    Hello

I have been a model of virtual machine on vSphere with VMware Converter 4 Server (as always!).

In this case, the result was different from others: the model have only 1 disc with 30Gbytes, but the virtual machine using two locations: Configuration file and the location of work are different.

The problem is that Configuration file is stored in the local data store of ESX, so I can´t make this virtual machine VMotion.

    ! Dibujo.jpg!

You can change the location of the Configuration file?

And the important question: is to make it possible to change with the machine online?

    Thank you for your help

  • When the Manager of the custom function in a configuration of link file gets error?

The question she get error when the Manager of the custom function in a config file in the plan to include the link.
When she went to join the custom function Manager in the debugger, everything is OK.

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >
    < configuration >
< custom function platform = "DotNet".
    library-path="G:\RB1\Include\CustomFunctions.dll".
    Class="Viking.CustomFunctions.CustomFunctions"/ >
    < / configuration >

THS, category and path is correct.
So is there any problem for < custom function platform = "DotNet"?

    OPA version 10.2

OPA error message translated from the Germany into English: Exception has been thrown by the target of a call

In general, you should not give the full path of the custom function, it should be rather in relation to the project include file.

    for example:

and then make sure that the CustomFunctions.dll file is copied into the project folder until the project is built.

In addition, if you use 10.2 for a new project, the mechanism that you use is now replaced. An extension of the custom function is the new thing, and it will look much nicer when it is used in the rules. Refer to the section 'Write a Custom function Extension' in aid of developer for more information.

  • Inconsistencies and/or documentation issues with the configuration of DTD files

There seems to be some inconsistencies in the implementation and/or documentation DTD references to use with consistent XML configuration files.

    * (1) operational configuration *.

The documentation available in the States [http://wiki.tangosol.com/display/COH35UG/Operational+Configuration+Elements]

"Deployment of Configuration descriptor operational coherence should start with the following DOCTYPE declaration:
    <!DOCTYPE coherence PUBLIC "-//Oracle, Inc.//DTD Oracle Coherence 3.5//EN"; "http://www.tangosol.com/dtd/coherence_3_3.dtd">
-Why the URI refers to the * 3.3* DTD when it comes of a * 3.5* configuration?
-Is accessible URI? Currently [http://www.tangosol.com/dtd/coherence_3_3.dtd] redirects to [http://www.oracle.com/tangosol/index.html]
-the operational configuration in coherence.jar references * <! DOCTYPE SYSTEM consistency "coherence.dtd"; > * so it does not follow the documentation

    * (2) cache config *.

The documentation available in the States [http://wiki.tangosol.com/display/COH35UG/Cache+Configuration+Elements]

"The Configuration of the Cache descriptor must begin with the following DOCTYPE declaration:
    <!DOCTYPE cache-config SYSTEM "cache-config.dtd";>
-Why is it a different mechanism (SYSTEM rather than PUBLIC) for compared to the operational configuration documentation?

    support the Editor * (3) *.

If developers use the recommended syntax (2) editors such as Eclipse cannot provide supported of AutoComplete XML instructions. This is because the XML catalog requires a full URI refer to the DTD.

This is explained in the wiki of the eclipse [http://wiki.eclipse.org/Using_the_XML_Catalog] as follows:

"Note: If your XML document uses a DOCTYPE declaration (as shown below) which specifies a relative URI location (for example ' Invoice.dtd' as opposed to a full URI) then a DTD may * NOT * be registered using 'Invoice.dtd '; the key Id system. »

Based on this problem, there are solutions, but would it not possible to have a complete qualified reference of DTD public? This would facilitate the tools support.

For example, some configuration of base cover problems could be avoided by using code completion in the XML editor.

    * (4) support XML schema *.

I noticed that the .NET config files use XML schema (see below), while Java uses DTD.
    <cache-config xmlns="http://schemas.tangosol.com/cache">
This seems to offer benefits in the validation in the DTD. Are there not intend to harmonise this using diagrams for Java also?

    Best regards

    Hi Phil,

Thank you very much for this.

    1, 2) fixed - staring with coherence 3.4 must + +.

    (3) seems to be a limitation specific to the eclipse. Other (IDEA, XmlSpy) XML editing tools have no problem with that. I'll check for a work around.

    (4) Yes, we intend to move to schema validation in all areas.

    Kind regards

  • Configuration of the files out of connection & synchronization

OK, at work, we set each user to use offline files and synchronize with a log off for My Documents to the user. I am wanting to make sure that it is the right way to implement. The following example shows how offline files are set up now:

    1. on the user's computer, I go to my Computer\Tools\Folder Options and I have enable offline files and put them to sync with a log off. Now we have My Documents of each user, who sits on their desk, developed for a backup server on the network-example: the name of \\backupserver\users\users.

    2. I right click on My Documents of the user, who sits on their desk pointed out in their folder on the backup server, and then select make available offline. Once the synchronization through then it shows sync blue arrows.
Does make sense? Or should I do this another way?

Don't forget to set up your site definition properly and have all your files inside your site definition. Without more information, it is quite difficult to advise.
