  Whenever I start my computer, I get a series of pop-up boxes that talk about "Please wait while windows configures the State" and then the one that says "the component that you are trying to use is on a CD Rom, please insert".  I have no idea what it is, and I have no disc to put on this line?  If I hit the buttons cancel these boxes enough times to go, but it's annoying and there is notihing badly with the operation of the computer, after I get rid of the boxes.  No idea how to stop this from happening again?  I did all the steps that have been mentioned earlier and no results.  I even did a system recovery.  I don't know what to delete.  Please help thanks

• silent install Firefox 27.1 and configuration (homepage, proxies and bookmark)

  I am trying to perform a silent installation and configuration for 27.1 Firefox but I'm not able to get the same results I got with the 26 versions and below. For these versions, I used the method described in this link:

  But for Firefox 27 creating the Mozilla.cfg and other files doesn't seem to work. Could you please tell me how silently configure the proxies and the homepage on Firefox 27.1 during installation. I also need to add a bookmark while installing. Could you please tell me how to do the same? I found a few methods saying that I had to change a bookmark.html file, but I don't think that this file is present on firefox 26 on.

  I tried the plan of photography CC but cancelled and uninstalled PS and Lightroom as directed. My CS6 installed office previously will not work now. I get a box of Creative cloud open and asks me to wait... She turns immediately and never stops.

  I called Adobe and said CC changed my version of office and creative cloud is interfering. He uninstalled creative cloud and PS and said I should reinstall the PS with my original disc.   Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  Firefox stores all your information in a folder called "account profile". If you back up to the top (on a USB key, for example), you can copy it back later after you have reinstalled your computer (including Firefox, of course) and all your settings, passwords, bookmarks, etc. will be present again.   This happened earlier in the week also.

  Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

  Whether the weekend will not help much either.

• Satellite L550 slow and BSOD

  Have a L550 i5 / 4 gr 500HDD / Ati radeon Pre / running 7 Pro 32 bit with Kaspersky Pure as the ISS.
  This machine is only 8 months old and already I had several probs with it namely slow and BSOD.

  Dealers (Toshy trained technicians) don't find anything wrong with her and now after 4 days of home had several probs still especially slowdown, pop ups that won't come off with tab turns, email windows etc. ad nauseam.

  Short of reformat and reinstall a backup - not acted at a 7 disc I don't know if I'm going to pot or there is something very wrong with this lappy.

  Any ideas on how I can check it out that dealers are just charge me money for basically nothing and am thinking that I should just go and get another brand because it's the second Toshy I had had so much trouble.

  Don't download a lot of freeware just MBAM and CCleaner, and is for the game.

  I have a Satellite Pro 4600 c750/128 with xp installed.
  It was ok, but slow, so I've updated at 500 MB of memory.

  I think that the problem is related to the RAM, even if the ram test didn't find any errors
  The RAM may be not compatible also if no error has been detected.

  I recommend that you test the laptop without the new RAM and check if the BSOD will appear again.

• dynamic data in the formula is originally running slow and weird results

  I am collecting 11 channels of analog input voltage, then perform a series of calculations (different, editable) on each channel of the voltage to convert each temperature sensor.

  My first step in calculations (with the help of multiply, subtract and divide blocks) works very well.

  My second step of calculations (which includes a natural logarithm "ln") is performed with the formula block. However, the formula block has three red arrows where are the constants of entry, and the results of the formula block are intermittent and incorrect (if drawn, drop the lightning just drawn what looks like a value of 1 intermittently... If saved to a csv file, the results show a bunch of zeros and then a row of values, then more zeros).

  I don't know if I need to convert my dynamic data in a table before feeding in the formula, or if there is another way by applying a complex formula of dynamic data, or...? I would stick with dynamic data because it makes tracing easier, but I'm open to other suggestions.

  

  

  The answer is very simple- do not use Dynamic Data.  I have never understood why NEITHER created this (other than to show "how easy it is to collect the DAQ and screw Express Wizard" (and not to mention that you lose a lot of control over what you do).)  There have been many questions here in the Forums and a number of players with a lot more experience I have also made the same recommendation.

  I don't know where the dynamic data in your case.  If it came from the DAQ Assistant, by all means read this and get rid of this wizard!

  If you have been creating full backups, the backup only that you keep is the last.

  Data backup file: offers the possibility to delete backups of data on the target files to free up space.

• the API system configuration error 1097 and freezes

  I used successfully the API system configuration to detect and read information on a PXI chassis.

  But now, when I try to initialize and collated all information using a simple VI, the system returns error 1097 and crashes before the end of the VI.  Based on that the stop button does not work and I have to either soft or hard reboot the machine.

  I have attached a screenshot of it in a frozen state and error, like a report of what is installed on my system.

  The only thing I can think has changed since this last worked has been upgraded my MAX and other pilots from 5.5 to 14.0 and then the latest version as of today.

  It is usually the generic error, which means that some external code access violated the integrity of the system and the memory is likely to have been corrupted in the process. Since it is a NI API system AND it seems to have worked before, I guess it's not a bad disigned call library node, but a form of bribery in external code library itself which implements the API of the System Configuration.

  Reinstalling may solve the problem.
