Connection Internet Wi - Fi will automatically connect

On my desktop PC my internet connection does not automatically connect despite the fact that the box so that it is checked. I always request to enter the security key. This is not necessary on one of two laptop computers in the network. How can I overcome this?
My desktop wireless connection is via an access point D - Link DW - 140 Rangebooster N USB Adapter Rev (B2), on a Dovado 4 gr dessert router network with Internet connection through a USB 4 G modem port. Laptops can connect directly, "to remember" the key security, but not in my office.

Hello Brit. try this,

  1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
  2. Open the network and sharing Center.
  3. Click manage wireless networks.
  4. Remove all wireless network listed in this list.
  5. Restart the computer and you reconnect to your wireless network.
Restart the computer once more and I would like to know if Windows remembers, or still not remember, the wireless network.

    Hello rjlasser, first of all please make sure that none of your extensions is the origin of the problem (some circumvention of censorship of youtube addons do also use proxies for example).

    Method 1:

    If you have another user account administrator, you can try to connect to this user account and check if you face any issues. If you are able to connect, uninstall the AVG Antivirus software and check if you can connect to the user account with the questions.

    Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable or uninstall your antivirus software. If you need to temporarily disable or uninstall it to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled or uninstalled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

    If there is no other administrator user accounts, you can enable the WinRE built-in Administrator account. Then uninstall the AVG Antivirus software and check if you can connect to the user account with the questions.

    Step 1: To enable the built-in Administrator account follow these steps:

    1. Insert the Windows 8 install disc.
    2. Click on repair your system.
    3. Click Advanced Startup Options.
    4. Click command prompt.
    5. Type: net user administrator /active: Yes

    Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable the administrator account after the diagnosis is made.

    Step 2:

    Now uninstall the AVG Antivirus software and check if you can connect to the user account with the questions.

    Can I do Audio Dell (or something) automatically route the sounds of my helmet when I plug them?  I saw no option in the Audio from Dell menu to toggle this option.

    I do a bit of work to the library of my school, which means I have to be quiet.

    The problem is that when I plug my headphones, I have to wait for Dell Audio for pop - up and then I have to confirm my selection of "headphones with microphone" above all sound will go to them.  Then only will be moving to my helmet.  While I do this, my computer starts hanging and beep all the recent notifications for anyone nearby to hear, until I do the confirmation.

    To make things worse, if I plug my headphones on the Windows lock screen, and then log in, Dell Audio pop up just never came up.     SOLUTION: the context menu is not clear.

    If you check the option at the bottom telling not to appear whenever something is plugged in, it will automate just about whether you connect (at least I can assure you that for "headphones with microphone").

    The way that the radio button is made, simply looks like it's supposed to just disable the pop up and nothing more.
