Connection problem in an environment of shared R12 Application tier

Hi all

I'm on the release of ebs R12.1.3 and have implemented shared Application layer by adding an another node (apps02) to the existing instance of ebs on node1 (apps01). On node1 (apps01), we have hosted DB services both Apps.

As part of the configuration of the shared Application layer, I activated all the services on the node (apps02) newly added as well, now whenever I access the node (apps01) URL(apps01.oracle.com:8000) first it is redirected to the second node's (apps02) URL(apps02.oracle.com:8000). I see no problems with this configuration when services on the nodes are running, but when node2 (apps02) services are down, that I'm not able to access the applications with URL(apps01.oracle.com:8000) of node1. Please suggest how to overcome this problem.

Share Application-level file system in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 384248.1()

Thank you

Moore

Moore,

A plan to have two web-level nodes? If Yes, then I think you need a load-balancer using Load-balance with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 380489.1)

If you want to keep all traffic goes to apps01, then run AutoConfig on this node, bounce the services and then check.

Thank you

Hussein

    I use Windows Vista SP2, which comes integrated with the HP notebook pc.

    The problem is that some file-sharing programs, download make their installation normally, but they cannot download any file (there is progress in the download) and you can tell that your can not connect to the internet.

    I'm not stupid, these programs are not blocked by a firewall, and there are also programs their families do their job properly, example:
    * utorrent is available for download.
    * Unable to download bitcomet.

    Please don't let ME DOWN

    Hi GRD-89,

    · You have problem downloading a particular file for bitcomet?

    · What is the exact error message you get when you try to download?

    · What browser do you use to download the files?

    I suggest you to check if you are able to download other websites other than utorrent.

    As you said that you are able to download from utorrent, it means that there is no problem with the operating system, but you can delete all the temporary files in temp, prefetch, %Temp% and folders on your computer and then try to download and check if it works.

    To do this, follow these steps:

    Type %temp%, temp, prefetch in the start search box > press ENTER.

    2. delete all the files in these folders and leave these files which do not deleted.

    You can also run Disk Cleanup to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space.

    Delete files using disk cleanup

  • g505s 8.1 updates & wireless connection problem

    I just downloaded updates Microsoft last night and as soon as I restarted, my wireless connection was gone/missing/non-functional. I have read some other posts that made me think that the issue may be with the (Qualcomm Atheros AR956x) wireless network adapter driver, but the download or install the latest driver from Lenovo (wlan149w81) support site didn't do me good. I do not see again for a Wi - Fi connection in the center of network & sharing.

    Someone at - he never saw something like this before / know what might be causing the problem?

    Hi solid Cruver - thanks for the help. Looks like that the combo of what I did and what you recommended has done. Update the driver LAN first and second WLAN driver seems to have solved the problem. Thanks again.

    That's what I get on my ThinkPad when I try to do the networking. I placed all the parameters correctly: all 3 of my computers are set the same. 2 workstations work perfectly. They can even see the laptop but not to open all files. The laptop can, open same network t itself file. But he can see the whole of the network (including a printer, is told by the way). I, ve gone through all parameters twice. I've even set the C drives to share via the menus of context on each computer. I have visited many forums with none even come close to this problem (they all will tell you how to set the network parameters or they get very technical and over my head).

    I tried with & without a firewall.

    I use a wired network.

    PS how can I ensure these settings effect may just lan and do not extend to the internet?

  • NAS hard drive not accessible more: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

    Dear,

    I am desperately looking for a solution for my specific problem how access my NAS.

    I have a hard drive from Western Digital NAS (Book Live) which worked fine until now. Yet, I just changed my internet provider and I now have a new Fritzbox 6360. Now, I can not access the hard disk of the commune of programs in Windows. I contacted two suppliers already, but without success. I think I have some incorrect settings in my Windows 7, 64 bit. This is the situation:

    -NAS is still working with my old Fritzbox, for testing that I went back-> ok

    -I can access the NAS via the dashboard or a TwonkyServer-> ok

    -When I access it via Windows Explorer, I wonder is to give my credentials (which don't work) or I get the error message: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

    -J' changed my IP address (dynamic even static) and connections, password-> without success.

    -J' tried SFC with the result that found no violation of integrity. -> ok.

    Any idea?

    Can you please turn off the NAS, unplug the cable and Ethernet cable? Wait about 2 minutes then plug all the cables back in. Any security program or firewall to this computer? Try disabling it for now.

    You have another PC or laptop which has Windows 7/8 and try to access the NAS?

    You have a smartphone or a Tablet and download an application for the WD NAS and then try to access files.

    Hello

    I got this error: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] Error establishing socket to host and port: 127.0.0.1:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect

    My environment is Windows XP home edition with SP3, developer version of ColdFuion 8, MS SQL 2005 Express.

    Finally, I found the solution. In SQL Server Configuration Manager, I changed the following:
    1-> protocols for SQLExpress-> TCP/IP network configuration
    ===> Active
    2 right-click TCP-> IP addresses
    ===> 127.0.0.1 IP address enabled

    Then, it can be connected in ColdFusio DNS Administrator page.

  • AppStore connection problem!

    Hello

    I'm running a 21.5 "iMac with OS X El Captan 10.11.5. My problem is that I am not able to connect to iCloud and the App Store on my Mac.

    The error I get is "there was an error connecting to server Apple ID"

    The same username and password works perfectly well on the site of iCloud, my app store on the iPhone and the iPad, but not on Mac.

    What is the way my iMac communicates via the internet? We have a firewall. And oh, the software update for El Capitan is downloading as I type; He didn't even ask for IDs, just started downloading automatically. The same thing happened yesterday with the updates listed on the tab Update on the app store - they have been is downloaded yesterday without asking my login details but it was a rare event; connection problems I described above took place during the last month or so.

    How can I fix?

    Thank you!!
