Console virtual not availabe on R320 with iDRAC7 Ent.
Hi all
I recently implemented a new server Dell R320 and when I login iDRAC I don't see the live preview of the virtual console.
There is only a message saying ""session VNC being active, Virtual Console is disabled. " "
Same thing if I go into the menu of the tree and select 'Virtual Console '.
Welcome any help to solve this problem.

IDrac allows a VNC session or a session of Virtual Console at some point, but that a single VNC session is permitted at any time. The Virtual Media feature is available in two types of session, but if a VNC session is active, you can only run the virtual media using the Virtual Console launch and not the Viewer for Virtual Console, as you see with the error you get. I would like to know if this is the case, also try disabling the VNC, as shown below and see if the Virtual Console is accessible.

Expand Raid5 on R320 with H710
Hey there - I have a new R320 with 4x300GB SAS 10 k in a Raid5 virtual drive.
Now, I have added more than 2 drives same size and speed and want to increase the virtual drive with this 2-disc, but there is no task "reconfigure" available...
I tried this with iDRAC and the Bios RAID H710 utility without success

Some features are not available directly through THE controller BIOS. The ability to reconfigure the table is available only when you use one of our tools such as OpenManage Server Administrator:

The VM console errors:-not responding
Hi all
I am a VM user first time
Will use it much for practice, and then put it in use at work... etc.
However, on my first go I fail epic lol
I installed the server VM on my new machine at home (6 GB of ram. i7 920 cpu, Vista 64 bit Ultimate) Note: I use 32 bit VMserver. Then, I created a single VM and he lit. When I went to the console it asked me to install the console plug in.
After it installed it restarted my broser (Firefox), I went back to the console, but as soon as I click it, it opens a pop-up for the console, and every time without fail it crashed with a "not responding"... my cursor did the spinning thing, but never changes.
I've recreated a virtual machine and the above happens all the time
When I check the event viewer on my local machine it has "the program VMware - vmrc.exe version 2.5.0.671 ceased to interact with windows.

Remote console does not connect: unexplained error
Running VMware server 2 on a Windows 2008 Enterprise.
Using a single remote adapter (with no Internet connection) with IP fixed 192.168.1.1 and no DNS/gateway server. The server is running a DHCP server (192.168.10 - 100).
WebAccess works when connecting to the local computer (the server) with IE 8.0, but the remote console does not work. It gives me this error:

Why my console is NOT running as a storage node
Help!
I created a minimal console for the test script to run as a storage node, with my own classes in the classpath.
Unfortunately, it does not act as a storage node, even if I have it modeled on the script of the console in the coherence/bin directory.
The symptom of failure, is that my application, running on a virtual machine Java of incompatible storage, fails with "storage is not configured."
If instead of the console, I have performed as a storage node a jvm with the same command line options, except with my own mainline than dumping the cache, the application loops in the other jvm works.
The console works as a client node and is able to use my custom of the classpath variable classes. That's why she participates in the cluster (the entire cluster is running on my PC).
I guess there is something simple wrong here, but it escapes me.

It is technically not all programs that can create a virtual floppy drive. There are 3 third-party tools that can create virtual drives themselves where you can use it to mount an image, but I've never seen one that is specific to a floppy drive. Are you able to create an ISO of the disk in question to mount it in one of these other programs?

Regional service console does not work after last update Java from 1.6.0_51 to 1.6.0_71

EAS-Console is started via the https://Lamost/easconsole/console.html link; one works fine under XP with installed Java 1.6.0_51.
After JRE update at 1.6.0_71 a pop from empty windows to the top, that you cannot close hitting the X.
Browser Java - Console gives the result according to which, in the two Version of Java, is equal, except with Java 1.6.0_71 exceptions occur.
There is no exception with Java 1.6.0_51.
No workaround/patch is it available?

Hi all
I have a 5.5 esxi server just the a virtual machine running at the moment. I try to clone this as shown below:

However, I get the error:
A virtual machine or the template with the same name is already registered. Server error: the specified key name or identifier already exists.
I have no vcenter (yet), and it's just the 1 vm. The virtual machine is turned off. I get this error regardless of the name, I said that when I choose "add to the inventory.

you read bad advice on the internet and then you get also the stupid advice here.Ignore both!
If you want to clone a virtual machine by copying - do it like this:
Create new virtual machine with the wizard.
Skip creating a disk for new customers.In Datastorebrowser copy the original vmdk to the new dir, which has been created by the wizard.
Reopen the new VM and edit - assign the vmdk that you just copied.The procedure of the blog is not supposed to work.

Can register on EM and Admin Console but not Analytics - down presentation server
I installed 11G on Windows 7 Enterprise. I am able to sign on Enterprise Manager and the Administration Console but not in analytics.
The presentation server is down and there is a message in the nqserver.log about a problem with the oracle.bi.security.service. I pasted the nqserver.log and the sawlog0.log file and the file nqsconfig.ini below.
I checked the BISystemUser into the realms of Weblogic Administration Console/security/myrealm and reset the password.
I also have to reset the password for BISystemUser in Weblogic Enterprise Manager/WebLogic Domain/Security/Credentials/oracle.bi.system
Then restarted services.
I checked to see that there's no lock on DEV_MDS and DEV_BIPLATFORM.
I tried to restart the services on several occasions without any modification.
I don't know what else to check or how to proceed. Is there anything else I should check to identify what I might need to the difficulty of obtaining this race?

After that I updated to macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro the Trackpad is not disable mouse connected with Magic.
Feature: MacBook Pro retina 15 inches (end of 2014) on macOS Sierra.
Since the update, I noticed that my stays compatible with my Magic Mouse connected after built-in trackpad window connection.
In system-> accessibility-> mouse and Trackpad preferences, I have not "ignore the built-in trackpad when mouse or trackpad wireless is present". If I switch it off and on again once again, the parameter will be.
However, once I lock the device (user name right-> connection... window) and reconnect, the trackpad works. You must pass the parameter each time.
Is this a bug of Mac OS Sierra (can't find anything) or am I missing something? I am aware that the trackpad is reactivated at the login window, but before it will deactivate after logging in.
I don't use Magic Mouse, but I have USB Wired mouse and I have the same problem since installing Sierra.
I have the box ticked, but I must go and clear the check box and then save.
I have to use a mouse all the time because my trackpad goes haywire and I wasn't able to find a solution for this. It moves its own and open stuff on its own.

Accidentally, I put my Macbook not in the stream with other devices
It is a real irritable and I hope that someone can help you. I've had my Macbook Pro for about 4 years now but had never used icloud. When I decided to start doing so yesterday I went in iCloud in settings and seen something like: "Do not allow for synchronization with other devices" and accidentally ticked. Everything already worked well without using iCloud, but now nothing can be synchronized with the Macbook. Is there something I can do? I see that the boot Volume has been changed yesterday who must account for this.
Questions of clarification - were you when you saw synchronizes them only not in System Preferences/iCloud? If this isn't the case here, where were you? If you go into System Preferences/iCloud can you check the boxes to synchronize?
