  Under the version release candidate of Win7, I was able to run Civilization 4 and Star Fleet Command 3.  Now, after installing Win7 Ultimate licensed version, I can't play either of these games.  I followed all the recommendations posted on this site and others but have not been able to solve the problems.  CIV 4 does not work due to the cd when cd is in the drive and just SFC3 locks the computer.  I really like Win7, but think to give up and reinstall Windows XP, which would be a major undertaking at this stage.

  Hello Squidoutofguam.

  Games don't work under Linux at all accepts by emulation, and to be honest with the applications as big and complicated as the games will not have much success.  They are written for Windows.

  More details without some its going to be hard to solve the problems.  Obviously something is not configured properly with your machine, or there may be hardware problems at work here.  I had no problem with SimCity 4 or Civ 4 (even if I use a crack no CD for Civ 4) on my machine (64-bit).

  The first thing I would do would be to get the latest drivers for your video from the nVidia Web site card.  The second thing I would do would be to close all background applications, and finally then I would probably run a test on your RAM, (just search Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start Menu).  I have also try to create a new user account and try the games under this one.

  If you could be more specific with what games works, by Microsoft do you mean the built-in Windows games, or titles such as Age of Empires, Halo or Gears of War?  And how they work not, error messages, crash dumps etc.  This would help.   2015.7 DPS is scheduled for November 24. If you do the math, you will notice it will be 4 weeks since the previous version. The team added DPS internal an extra week in this cycle for an event. The cycle of 3 weeks is approximate, depending on closures, holidays, events and so on.

  I got lightroom since very 5. Love it, I have the stand alone MAC very. I do not upgrade to what anyone greater than 6.0 and continues to take me to the upgrade of the CC, its nuts plunge. If I use the upgrade feature in the help section you need to CC upgrades, where the hell is the stand-alone version?

• Older versions of Nikon Transfer will damage the D600 files

  As I have done for years I shoot in RAW and Nikon transfer allows to load the images from the card to my laptop and an external hard drive.  After that I have to sort the images by subject I import them into Lightroom for the final touch.  Not the same with Lightroom 4.2 and Nikon D600... Adobe indicates whether yousue transfer 4.2 will not recognize the files and so much worse... as a company they are going downhill... I hope they fix the problem so I can import 1500 images in Lightroom to the final conversion. It's a shame that they don't care.
