  I have a vi written in 7.1 which has three tracks in a chart.  I have radio selector buttons so the user can enable or disable any channel.  The problem is the color of the track is automatically entered by the vi and chooses the color in function trace is turned on first, second and third.  Then, if the user disables all channels and then turns them on one at a time, from top to bottom, they are correct, then green, blue and red.  But if they turn on their bottom first, then the traces of the first and third don't follow the track color legend.  Basically, I want to know how to lock a track to a given channel color.

• Can I detect a change of name of plot event in a legend of the plot?

  I want to update a configuration file, if a user changes the name of a conspiracy in the plot legend.

  Events, I see plots are: value change, the change of range autoscale, plot attribute change and change of range of scale.

  Change of attribute plot doesn't seem to understand anything like on behalf of the parcel, and others obviously do not contain this info either.

  First of all, remember that there is no simple way to encode anything, so I can offer a possible solution for you, but it certainly isn't the only one.

  LabVIEW has no property to check if the name has been changed through a structure of the event, but you can create your own LabVIEW can read events. I found this really good which may help you. Read this and mess around with it and see if it gets you anywhere: Creation of user events

  Once you get to trigger the appropriate, then its just get this deal to update the file you want.

  Another possible workaround solution that isn't ideal, is to create a chain control and who have to be on top of the name of the parcel. You would be able to produce then an event in this chain, change the value.

• Graphic cursor size does not respect the Bode plot

  I was wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on a problem I'm having about a graph XY cursor.

  I developed a simple VI to determine the characteristics of a low-pass filter through which a sinusoidal signal ramp frequency and subsequently followed the gain of the filter to create a Bode plot.

  Through the analysis of the curve of Bode I want to determine the cutoff frequency of depression go the filter under test. I introduced a slider in the chart and using a property node I have hoped to set the cursor to-3dB point in the Y axis and the corresponding sliders X post thus determining the cutoff frequency of the output filter.

  However the slider seems never to follow the plot beyond the first stage of the loop. It feels as if there is a break in the conspiracy between the 1st and 2nd iteration of the while loop used for the ramp signal generator.

  I tried to find why the cursor won't follow the plot at-3dB, but so far I am confused.

  First of all, you need to put the property node AFTER the while loop, because you need the chart to be done first and then watch the cut off frequency.

  Secondly, in LV, property nodes are read from top down. So you have to move the cursor to Y =-3 first, and then read the X position.

  If you get a table, you can use build a waveform in the waveform palette.  Feed table there, your delta T DT and your time in T0.

  You can also write an offset and multiplier (essentially T0 and dt) in the X scale property for the table or the graph nodes.

  Right-click on your chart and deselect the option table to transpose. The DAQmx Read with 2D NSamp DBL NChan data are organized where each line is a string, and each column is the samples for this channel.

  I am new to actionscript and flash, and this is my first project. I try to get several particles in orbit around the midpoint of my document, however, I think that there is a problem with my table, because when I create more than one particle that they don't in orbit, but rather take a crazy flight off screen. I have two classes, a controller class that attracts the particles and specifies the orbit and a class simple orb that holds the X position and Y and speed.   I have no opinion on the report... but if you want to add a standard 'hardcoded', it's easy to do.
  In your chart, you go to the axis scale. In the pop-up window, click the button modify scale markers.

  There, you can add a line or a range for your report.
