constant anti virus reports when using firefox

I constantly receive anti alerts of virus using firefox I was not do this with the Explorer, it seems to be related to the "search request". I get this message "windows cannot find"C:\Users\FAMILY-1\App Data\Local\Temp\NEW26A4.tmp.exe". Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again." After that, I have to go to Bigpond antivirus program that I have on my computer, and the message is "access analysis engine reported a < no name > infection in the file ' C:\USERS\FAMILYPUTER\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP\NEW26A4." TMP. EXE' when I logged next to the home of the work I had 350 alerts to get rid of. In addition, someone hacked my hotmail address and sent emails to people on how to make money from home, I had to change my password by e-mail. Any help to stop the alerts would be greatly appreciated.

Make a check of malware with some scan of malware programs. You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database prior to scanning.

I have not had this problem before and noticed only recently. Almost impossible to use the browser now! What is the result of an automatic update of the software? Help, please! Thank you.

  • Strange glitch Visual on the taskbar when using Firefox

    Hello

I feel a strange glitch Visual on the taskbar when using firefox.

Please take a look at this short video because it shows the problem, it's almost impossible to show in pictures.

I use firefox on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit v36.0.1. Video card is an ASUS R9 280 X using the latest drivers from AMD 14.12 Catalyst Omega Software.

Motherboard is an ASUS M5A88 with 16 GB of ram and a processor of 6300 FX.

It is a new construction that I have implemented in the last 24 hours, and this behavior was not present on the system using the same version of windows, firefox and even map chart and drivers. But on another card mother and CPU. Previous Board of Directors has been
    M4A79XTD EVO with a Phenom II X 4 955BE.

The glitching does not occur when it is on the desktop and firefox is closed. It will not occur when you use IE - 64 nor does it when I am using the steam software or any Explorer windows/opening files.

All the motherboard drivers are installed correctly, the integrated graphics card is disabled in the BIOS. I disabled the settings of firefox for hardware acceleration, smooth scrolling and text... to see if it was the question. It wasn't.

I'd appreciate any help to solve this... Really, I don't want to use a different browser but it's bad enough and quite distracting to really annoy me, and I don't see any alternative.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi jscher2000

I was about to post a reply, because a friend suggested that maybe that's a rendering of issue rather than a firefox one video card even if it's strange how it affected firefox only. I didn't have a chance to test it on Chrome as it is a new construction and I don't want to install the software, I do not use.

I went to the Manager of catalyst and had a glance to the settings. I changed something, but no help... I then started to make a simple change and test until I found that the activation "gpu up-scaling" in the properties of digital flat screens has solved the problem.

    I am now free twinkle

Thanks for your quick response however.

  • Why did Windows 7 freezing when using Firefox?

S ' went for months now with many attempts to identify the cause. Came to the conclusion that it is Firefox but can't understand why.
-If you use Firefox, my whole PC, not only Firefox freezes. Sometimes in the first 5 minutes of use of Firefox, other times it can happen an hour in a session. A hard reboot is the only way to get back to my Office I waited an hour before, after a freeze and nothing happens. The mouse pointer move, nothing.
D ' first thought it was a hardware problem or a problem of antivirus protection.
-Reinstalled windows on three different hard disks that all have the disk check. Still happens
-Installed windows 8 to see if this could solve the problem. Nope, did the same thing on Windows 8.
-Ran Memtest 86 + 14 hours overnight to see if it was my memory. No, zero found errors of memory
-To be sure I even tried to use only a strip of ram in my PC at the same time to see if the chopsticks were bad. No, it froze with each stick
-Tried to change my anti-virus. He froze with every single one, AVG Free, Avast free, Microsoft Security Essentials.
-J' realized that my PC freezes only when I'm on the web in firefox. If I use chrome or Internet explorer, it doesn't happen. These total PC freezes happen when I use firefox.
-My only adds on / plug that I use is Adblock more and more those who come with default Firefox.
-My firefox is updated, I reset and reinstalled [everything by adding only Ad Block +] and again, this does not solve the problem
-In the event log window, the only thing that happens every time my PC freezes is the error "Session"Microsoft Security customer OOBE"stopped because of the following error: 0xC000000D", why this would affect Firefox, I don't know.
-I would like to understand the cause of this because I really want to use Firefox again.

I finally understood that Firefox isn't the problem with this problem, but it's actually the Nvidia drivers. It's a shame as Nvidia pushes the hard driver updates. Drivers to eliminate this problem are 314.22. After you have uninstalled the latest drivers and replacing them with 314.22 I did have the problem at all in any program, including Firefox.

Here's a thread from Nvidia on the issue.

    https://forums.GeForce.com/default/topic/596642/GeForce-drivers/please-help-event-ID-14-from-source-nvlddmkm-cannot-be-found/2/

I had to replace a lot of my material before I figured out it was the Nvidia drivers because I don't have the correct error message on my old set up which pointed me in the direction of the video card.

If someone has this problem I highly recommend demotion to 314.22 driver version if you have a Nvida GPU in your system.

I'm very disappointed in Nvidia for not solving this problem after 15 + updated since 314.22 driver.

  • Why Google Image Search freezes up when using Firefox?

During the execution of an Image via Google in Firefox search it temporarily freezes or becomes constantly slow. I unchecked the hardware acceleration, as suggested by some, but it made no difference; My graphics drivers to date, I used Firefox worm. 23. I've updated when I first noticed the problem if it persists despite the update.

I have no virus or threats on my PC.

Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    To turn on safe mode

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
    • Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox. " Linux: "Firefox/file > exit ')

  • How can I fix the redirects when using Firefox 30? Windows 8.1.

I've redirected and/or pop ups using Firefox 30 with Windows 8.1. He started immediately with the download of the said Windows 8.1, so I think it came with this download, and although I have run deep scans and even a pre-start with Avast scan, as well as a scan with IObit Anti Malware, I always get the redirects or pop ups.

A smart redirection (context sensitive) it's trying to get the money from you. For example, I had tried to stop the pop ups [redirects, maybe] with the pop-up blocker probably integrated into Firefox, but Firefox Help leads me to an # 800 who offered to connect remotely and fix my PC with certified technicians as you will see in the chat below. He appeared as a function of Firefox, not a redirect.

Just after the chat with the 800 suit, I opened FireFox and he went to the (default) url: start.mysearchdial.com/ and a hash string more, which is perhaps how popups spreads?
I'm from mozilla via a url and soon encouraged me to download the new version, saying a current obsolete. But he was not going to download it from: http://downloadsoftware.pw/download/firefox2/

He isn't very smart, it is also resistant to many software removal tools.

What could suggest you? I tried not many of these tools yet.

MySearchDial must have an entry in the Control Panel, but may also have fangs in your browsers.

Control and cleanup that will take a few precautions. I suggest starting here:

Open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. Click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Out as much garbage as possible here.

Then, in Firefox, open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

Finally, you can "absorb" remain problems with the scanning/cleaning tools listed in our support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware.

    (1) when you download the newsletter, it is in PDF format?

    (A) on your Mac, you may need to name the file downloaded with a .pdf at the end of the file name extension so that it can open in Adobe Reader (or an extract or other PDF reader that you use).

    (B) on your PC, can you say display the newsletter if it's displaying in the plugin Adobe Acrobat, PDF Viewer integrated Firefox or another plugin?

  • I can't comment or whatever it is on Facebook as when using Firefox. Other browsers work, but not Facebook.

I tried to clear my history, cookies and everything else on Firefox, but it does not solve the problem.

Whenever I try to comment on a post on facebook it says "Unable to display the comment." And it wont let me as any positions either.

Google Chrome works perfectly with Facebook. I don't want to quit smoking using Firefox, but unless I get soon a solution that may be what I have to do.

I recently got my Facebook working again when I disabled my extensions at the same time. It was a mistake, but because by then, I didn't know what could be the cause of the problem. After activating one by one, do the reboots needed, etc, I noticed that the only time where Facebook will not load my messages or I would like / comment is when the Plugin of effective Community measure 3.1.0 (by effective measure Pty Ltd) is enabled. I thought that perhaps similar plugins or products of the same manufacturer are not compatible with Facebook and Firefox 17. IDK.

Bottomline is: there is an extension/plugin that went rogue. There may be more.

  • Google results is not accurate when using Firefox

After that I installed Chrome, when I used the search on Google with Firefox, the results have been distorted. For example, when I searched for Netflix using google on Firefox, the home page does not appear. When I used google on Chrome or IE, Netflix home page would then appear as always. The results were the same, using any keyword, like Yahoo, Ebay, etc. Is there a reason for the change of the algorithm when using google and Firefox?

You seem to be signed in to Google, so it is possible that Google stores your search history and offers you "customized" links.

Is there a difference in when you're not connected?

So, you can check the parameters of Google to see if web history is enabled (click on the gear icon in the form on the page of Google results).
