  Sounds like a question of classic session state.

  You must eat the page elements using calculations of page rendering to ensure they are set to session state.

  Or if the download is triggered by a button, you should check that the elements of the page are subject to session state, perhaps via an action of PL/SQL.

• Embedded app loads but does not play on first loading of the page

  I have a Flex SWF embedded in an HTML page. After I clear my cache, the swf file loads but does not play. It works very well after that, until I got clear my cache again. I tried my own wrapper HTML basis, as long as the one created by publish Flex. On the first load, if I right click on the swf file, PLAY is not checked. If I check, the swf begins to play very well. Game is checked on subsequent loads.
  
  I tried to add < param name = "play" value = "true" / > in the HTML wrapper with no result.
  
  The app is a basic Hello World with no http request of any kind, just a big label in the middle.

  Finally solved!

  What is happening because of my server (IIS) using dynamic caching. Other people have had the problem with Apache as well.

  Strangely, it only breaks Flex SWF, not Flash SWF.

  In any case, in short, if this happens to anyone, remove SWF in the list of extensions that your dynamic server should cache.

  I have a situation where I need to access the Module from the Application of a bean of support before any loading of the page.

  The method I currently use is:

  This works very well if a page in the package that contains has been loaded first. My use case requires us to make that call until all pages in this package have been loaded (and thus AM has not yet been invoked). Any attempt to enter the AM using this method just leaves us with a null object.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  both glued by Vinay links are no good solutions for this use case because they don't distinguish between initial and subsequent page rendering rendering (for example applications of PPR). Using the controller in the region, is really not easy to tell when the page rendered first time if you do not work with memory (stored in viewScope) flags.

  If you can, use a method call activity as proposed for the stubborn workflow. Be sure to call dispose method of a created file PageDef activities (click of mouse button allows you to create a law) fault what the method is not part of the life cycle ADF

  I need to open a popup on the page load. This problem is recurring, and there are a few messages and discussions in the forum about this. But I need to go further on this subject.

  My case is:

  • Loading of the page, I have to check some conditions.
  • If it's true, popup is open.
    • Popup is YesNo type, and I have a dialogListener to treat the user's response. Finally, the page is loaded.
  • If false, the popup is not open.

  To do this, I use beforePhase like that

  This ingenious solution has worked.

  First of all, check phaseId in the beforePhase method. Check the phase is MADE

  You say that your computer is slow, but all of the examples you give are rather than slow computer operations slow network communications.  To avoid any unnecessary work, check how fast the computer is on the tasks that don't use any network.

  If it works fine for tasks not network then you can concentrate on the problems of network as being the only concern.

  It has also become very slow for no network tasks you should study other causes.  Just as an example: If, like me, you sleep / turn off the computer when you are not using it then defrag will never work, so you can run it manually to make sure that doesn't cause problems.   Describe your symptoms in this thread so that someone can advise on the best course of action.

  The individual Actions of true/false in one DA include fire on Page Load toggles that control if they are executed on the loading of the page as well as on the triggering event.

  I am trying to darken my background image on a gallery page to draw attention to the gallery slideshow in the middle of the page. I have a filled shape of black 60% extend to the width of the page on the bottom layer on the bottom. The look is fine but I would like for the darkening effect to fade in a few seconds after the page loads.

  I tried to use the mouseover States, but when the cursor is moved over the actual slide show the effect of darkening disappears to reappear once the mouse moves away again.

  I have an application with two expensive queries that takes a while to load (on the page sent). On the page there is a selection list filter. When the user changes, the page is sent and two classic run reports based on this filter. I have a dynamic action (load which) goes off on the amendment of the list and then submits the page. However, the loading icon is visible until the moment where that page is submitted. Once the page is sent, then also the reports takes some time to display all of the records. Is there a way to display some sort of an icon of loading time of the page load completely? OR this is not possible.
