  After reading your question, I understand that you are unable to get the Gmail calendars to work on your iPod touch. When you view your Gmail account in settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars that you see this screen below?

• The contact photo sync if contact has Facebook account

  (1) the contact photo will not sync to Google on refuse if the contact has a Fcaebook account, even if there is no picture associated Facebook account. The generic image appears slightly larger and brighter that the generic image on contacts without a Facebook account. Is there a work around?

  (2) is there a way to stop denying it sync with Facebook contacts, far delete the account?

  A have you noticed if Facebook is not synchronized with their list of contacts on their phone? Made sure my PW is correct. Disabled auto-sync and tried to do manual. Also waited 24 hours during to have it on auto. Not something huge but having loved it sync would be so I could use it for contacts photos. Also removed has tried to delete my Facebook account in settings and added back with no results.

  Facebook contact sync has been deleted some time ago. This feature is not available on recent versions of Android. There are 3rd party apps that you can download from the game store, but I can't guarantee how they will perform on your device.

• Cannot get my Contacts to sync between iPhone 6s and Mac book pro

  I tried to synchronize contacts with cloud. I tried to disable the contacts of the cloud on the 6s and the Macbook pro as instructed. Does not. Contacts are created on the phone and some on the Mac, this could be the problem? This is ongoing and I'm frustrated.

  Contacts must synchronize any device, they were created on.

  On your Mac, open System Preferences > iCloud. Clear the Contacts check box, then select re.

  On your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud. Disable the Contacts then turn it back on.

  Give iCloud minutes to re sync your contacts.

  I have an iPhone Plus 6 and a 5. I wanted to essentially do are to get all the data from the 6, so that for the 5 s. I used a backup to iCloud to do. I came across a question immediately:

  1. Contacts are not synchronized.
  2. After a few days, the two phones have gone out of sync.
  3. WhatsApp is wrong to behave now. Initially, the messages have been synchronized, now half of them are on phone, half of them are on another.

  Now, the contacts were not synchronized because of all my contacts are foolishly stored on another group. How can I change the contact groups?

  And now that phones are out of sync, that means that if I move the contacts to the Group [iCloud], they will not appear on the phone that I have sync for (5 s)?

  How can I get synchronized back phones (must reflect the change in the data in the other phone)?

  WhatsApp, I have no idea.

  You do not synchronize the data of iCloud for restoring from a backup, it is for all other data. You must Access your iCloud on both devices account and contacts, etc., for devices in phase.

  I very recently discovered contacts that I create on iOS website or iCloud does not synchronize to the section "on my Mac" (i.e. a local copy) of the Contacts and contacts created in the group "on my Mac" inside the Contacts.app will not sync to iCloud and iOS.

  I drove most of the discussions in the forum and tried all the remarkable solutions, and none have worked for me:

  -Put iCloud and extinguish in iCloud Prefs

  -turn on/contacts turn off in prefs Internet accounts

  -Group iCloud toggle in the pref Contacts.app pane

  -different versions of the above Contacts.app is leaving or quitting smoking in specific order

  On a side note, I also recently started having crashes repetitive .app Contacts when you try to type in the search classified all contacts; whereas research on behalf of any group has worked well.

  I went up to destroy ~/Library/Application Support / address book (after saving an archive on my Mac) and starting with a new "on my Mac' database.» Solved the crash of research, it has not solved the problems of synchronization.

  Finally, I resorted to copy all contacts to iCloud and hanging out in "on my Mac", which is temporarily resolved the question of having a set of contacts stored locally, so I can work in offline mode. It does not, however, solve the problem to know what contacts that were created on my Mac are gone, because they do not synchronize to iCloud in the first place. I hope that I'll have to go through the ugly to reimport process archive backup and try to merge more than 1200 contacts to retrieve those on my Mac, but then iCloud still will not have these missing contacts without synchronization.

  So, is this expected today at El Capitan and iOS behavior 9? How can I find out when manually drag the new iOS/iCloud contacts on my Mac? And vice versa?

  Seems to me Syncing should be only that. synchronization not only icloud, iOS, but also and on my Mac, just the way that it used to work.

  Anyone have any new ideas?

  Your first paragraph is normal. On my Mac contacts will not sync to iCloud. If you want to synchronize, you must add to iCloud.

  I use Skype 7.5, and just today, I noticed that I no longer receive notifications when a Facebook friend is online.

  Is it because of the changes to Facebook itself? I tried to disconnect and reconnect to Facebook, but I still do not get the status bar notifications.

• Calendar/Contacts incomplete Sync since 9.2.1 update

  The day of the release a few days ago, I updated my iPhone 6 s, mini iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 9.2.1 and my iMac and MacBook Pro to 10.11.3. Calendar and Contacts sync works fine between both Mac and iPad Pro. However, the phone and the iPad mini not synchronize these days. The iCloud calendar is syncing OK also.

  All iOS devices have the same exact settings and using the same identifier Apple and all were continuously recorded in. Ditto for the two Macs. Lack of synchronization on the phone is really annoying.   Anyone else has this problem and knows a solution?

  Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

  Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

• Contacts Outlook sync for iOS fails miserably

  I became completely frustrated with iCloud app on Windows and with iCloud generally and the apparent inability to sync contacts Outlook 2013 for iPad running iOS 9.2. I have Windows7 x 64 and 2013 Outlook installed. I have app iCloud 5.1 installed on Windows 7 and you enable synchronization of Contacts, calendar and tasks with my iCloud account, then down to my iPad running iOS 9.2.1. The synchronization operation from Outlook to iOS for calendar events work fine. I can add events on Outlook or iOS and additions or changes are properly reflected.

  The huge problem is with Contacts. If I add a contact on the iPad it appears the iCloud account, then in fine Outlook. If I add a contact via the web interface for iCloud it shows fine in Outlook. It does NOT however appears in the iOS. No additions or changes made via Outlook on WIndows. These changes or additions appear in my iCloud account, that they are simply not reflected to iOS!

  I spent countless hours trying parameters such as go fetch the data rather than push and it makes no difference what so ever. I have no problems with the help of Google to get changes reflect this way however I don't see any way of Outlook and Contacts from a Google account calendar interface and then back down to an iOS device. This is the only reason why I use iCloud app on Windows.

• iPhone Contacts stopped sync Contacts to iCloud.  Have never had this problem before. Thoughts on possible solutions.

  During the last two weeks, all changes (including new Contacts or changes/revisions to previous Contacts) have stopped syncing to my contacts in iCloud.  I got my iPhone 5s almost two years and have never had this problem before.  I look forward to thoughts about the causes and, above all, suggestions for solutions.

  Pre more user for 2 years here and has recently decided to try the swerve. On setup, I was invited to enter my facebook password (email was saved from my pre and restored when I used my palm profile). I put the password and I get this message "the credentials of the account that you have entered are incorrect. Try again. "After trying 2763475337963 times, I realized that there must be a problem. I tried the obvious (restart phone, change password, etc.) and even disabled the option of browsing on facebook. I am running out of ideas and I really want to add my Fb friends to my contacts without having to go through each of them manually. Sorry if posting in the wrong place, new forums. (the view at least) for any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  I had never installed the facebook application. I just did a full erase because of other problems and it is fixed. (being invited to restart the device to install apps... who has nothing but restart and NOT install ALL apps) Thanks for your help anyway

• MS Exchange Contacts will sync only a way

  I had problems with the synchronization since the upgrade to 1.3.1 and noticed Friday that a contact that I had entered in Exchange was not synchronized with the Pre even after several synchronizations "forced."

  Further investigation this morning, I discovered that it was not an isolated incident and indeed all new contacts/amendments to existing contacts are not reflected on the meadow.

  However, new contacts/amendments generated on the meadow are synchronization with Exchange.

  After reading some of the threads and having lived in the better 'hit and miss' sync with the calendar and emails, I went through the routine to turn off zone schedule and partial erasure etc. suggested in a related thread dealing with the one-way only calendar synchronization (even if it was the other way around - that is to say the amendments Exchange will Pre but not Pre to Exchange).

  Sort, the timing seems now to be behaving very well (both directions) as is the email address, but (now empty in my pre) Contacts will not Exchange matter.

  All test contacts created on the pre sync correctly as do the amendments of pre to Exchange but absolutely nothing of the other way around (including contacts that appear in Exchange created in the meadow as a test).

  I deleted all the contacts Exchange, synchronized and then reimported them - no joy.

  Is there an Exchange that might have changed or needs to be changed by the LATTER?

  I am at a complete loss and very frustrated - he was working perfectly fine until the 1.3.1 update!

  Any advice would be welcome.

  Exchange 2003 (running via Outlook) on desktop

  Windows XP (SP2 - Yes, I know that we should be on at least SP3 but I'm new in society and do not want to disturb IT!)

  Following messages earlier, I have also noticed that the emails would be to synchronize only when Outlook is running on my local computer or I was running remote webmail.

  It turns out that all of these mistakes seem to emanate from a problem of anti-virus.

  The COMPUTING service found a registry tweak as follows:

  "Change a pair of parameters in the registry on the Exchange Server:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan
  The value of VirusScan = 1 (proactive analysis occurs when an element is given in a folder, but a request was not made by a customer)

  The value ReloadNow = 1 (by default, this value is set to zero, by setting this value to '1', Exchange will reload the configuration settings in the registry and reload the provider DLL.) Once this value is reset to '0' by Exchange.)

  This fix works for Symantec and CA (and perhaps others). »

  This seems to have been around on my Pre (including issues of contacts) and interestingly there are other users with iPhones that had problems of synchronization and these also work well.

  I posted this solution because it seems the lack of response to my earlier posts is not a quite well known difficulty.

  I got my BB Bolt two weeks ago.  It works fine out of the box to sync with my mac using missing for Blackberry Synch.  Just today, I noticed that my contacts did not come across, and also some of the contacts that were on my BB were duplicated.  Yesterday, I installed Pocketmac for Blackberry, it did not work to my satisfaction, I uninstall and I went backward lack of synchronization for Blackberry.  Today, all my contacts are now missing from my Blackberry.  Calendar information are coming through when I synchronize, but not contacts. All possible solutions?  Right now I'm at the edge of this defective gadget appeal.

  Can anyone help with this.  I did calendar Windows XP on my desktop and use my calendar on my "BOLD" for a few months without trying to synchronize.  Tried today and can not do.  I have a few options in case of settings... ASCII and yahoo that suit.  Can someone tell me please how to synchronize upward.
