• Contact Facebook Sync

  Anyone having problems with getting Facebook to synchronize their contact list? I tried the basics with the uninstall and reinstall the application and force a synchronization in the accounts. Is this a known issue with motorcycle or FB?

  Okay, so I did some research and apparently this is a known issue with Facebook syncing but is a matter of Facebook client.

• How does one to re-synchronization for Facebook?

  Have records of photo on my Facebook account. For some reason any files have synchronized with my tablet, not content to some extent.
  
  Only in the last week have recently created folders and their content was synchronization. Other folder names are displayed but are white. Am assuming that there are some files which indicates that the folders are synchronized to Photos & videos which are at the origin of the problem - you just don't know where these files are.

  Deleted Facebook & Photobucket account, waited half a day, then put them in. Was having the same problem with PhotoBucket but he took the lead and resynchronized. On the other hand, Facebook will not synchronize the older cases.
  
  Have even played around with Facebook records and added new features to the eldest of records and they don't even get synchronized either. Only records I've done since then put Facebook back into the accounts.

  So which database files delete to get photos to Facebook again sync back?

  Found a solution. Yay me!

  • Deleted the account Facebook once again more accounts.
  • Restarted the followed Luna to a reboot of the device.
  • Open Photos & videos, which seemed to reset the issue (guess).

  • Have you not activate Facebook for a few hours, not by choice - wireless connections are norty.

  • After 8 hours later was able to get online and added my Facebook account.

  • Open pictures videos & - this time, all records of Facebook sync!

  Snuck a file into the folder Photos hidden wall that is only seen/created by the famous Facebook® for HP webOS app. As a suspect, only two programs that will see this hidden folder are Facebook® for HP webOS and Photos & videos. If Facebook is running a browser on the TouchPad HP or your PC / laptop at home the hidden folder will not appear on its own.

  There is a work around to see the point in this folder, but the chain begins from the Facebook® for HP webOS app.
  • Mark out a second Facebook account to a photo in this folder to other Photos of wall .

  • Use a different web browser to open this 2nd Facebook account and then mark your 1st Facebook account (main).
  • It informs in turn your main account that you have been marked.
  Clicking the notification you are allowed to access the hidden wall pictures folder that was created by the famous Facebook® for HP webOS app. You can delete the photo in the hidden folder, but you cannot remove this hidden folder - not even to in Facebook® for HP webOS app.

• After that put 2.0.1 to level, contacts have two facebook links

  After having installed the 2.0.1 upgrade, I had to be re-authenticated connection to Facebook.

  My contacts who had ties to facebook, have now two links of facebook.  How can I get rid of the duplicate link?

  I do not have this problem myself but go into the settings of facebook app and choose "Delete all data of facebook" or what he says and then reapply facebook sync

• HP Veer (2.1.2) will not sync Facebook

  Hi all:

  I hope I can get a helping hand here.  Left my palm profile a Pre2 on T-Mobile USA for the HP Veer on AT & T yesterday.  All accounts of synergy work very well except Facebook - notification "account synchronization" just stays there for hours, but no synchronization occurs.  I tried the HSPA and WiFi.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  I had the Facebook application installed while I was having this problem

  What I meant by the comment of https is that I went on my Facebook account using a computer and disabled the option "use the HTTPS connection when possible.  The HTTPS option has caused some problems with the Facebook webOS (photos not display, etc) so I thought that maybe he was also causing problems with synergy related to Facebook.

  The problem end up by to solve before I resorted to extreme measures.  What I did:

  1. Deleted my Facebook account of the 'Accounts' page in the sheer settings
  2. Changed the password on my Facebook account via my browser of the computer (which was something I intended to do anyway)
  3. Preference of Facebook HTTPS disabled in my Facebook account settings (via a browser of the computer)
  4. Veer connected to my WiFi at home
  5. Account added by using the page Facebook accounts

  The phone sync for a while (can't tell how long) and a few hours later my FB photos were there and I checked by other means that the synchronization is complete.

  I can't tell if she was using WiFi, change my password, or disable HTTPS preferences that, finally solved the problem, but my intuition leans toward the latter, as my FB app now works well (the photos appear, where they failed before).

• Facebook contacts will not sync properly

  So I was wondering if someone else sees the same problem with the triumph. I have synced my Facebook contacts to see that I can't call one of them. Three digits are added before the number when you make a call ("001" the international dialing code for the United States) and for this reason, the call does not pass through. A similar problem occurs when trying to text message, these contacts as well. They appear as just the number rather than a name or the picture even if it lets you text the correct contact. It just does not display their right.

  Everyone knows about this problem? And how can we solve this problem? (Motorola, I'm looking at YOU). It's really annoying and I want it fixed.

  I think I found a work around for this problem.

  Settings > call settings > International prefix > remove 011 > arrow to the left (capacitive touch)

  Confirmed to work.

• The contact photo sync if contact has Facebook account

  (1) the contact photo will not sync to Google on refuse if the contact has a Fcaebook account, even if there is no picture associated Facebook account. The generic image appears slightly larger and brighter that the generic image on contacts without a Facebook account. Is there a work around?

  (2) is there a way to stop denying it sync with Facebook contacts, far delete the account?

  A have you noticed if Facebook is not synchronized with their list of contacts on their phone? Made sure my PW is correct. Disabled auto-sync and tried to do manual. Also waited 24 hours during to have it on auto. Not something huge but having loved it sync would be so I could use it for contacts photos. Also removed has tried to delete my Facebook account in settings and added back with no results.

  Facebook contact sync has been deleted some time ago. This feature is not available on recent versions of Android. There are 3rd party apps that you can download from the game store, but I can't guarantee how they will perform on your device.

  I have a BlackBerry Z10 and a 'problem' with the facebook app and my contacts. Software application or device facebook link my contacts automatically with my fb contacts. Is it possible to disable this feature?

  Welcome to the forums.

  At the moment there is no way to disable the Facebook contact Sync feature. You will need edit each contact and remove the link Facebook or you can just change the name of the contact so that it displays the name you want.

• Images of blackBerry Smartphones Contact sync with Facebook app.

  I just received a Bold 9700 and noticed that, even though I have the ability to synchronize the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts on the phone profiles, photos for my phone contacts remain blank.  Facebook profiles are related to my contacts and sometimes show the Facebook profile photo, but after a while the image is an icon of the Virgin again.  I also deselected the option synchronize and re-activated the option Update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try to force the update photos, but without success.

  I thought it might also be due to a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact photos because I initially imported all my contacts from my Gmail account, but I am unable to understand what other apps, if any, are updated photos contact and so to disable them.

  Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pictures correctly however and others that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are related to my Blackberry contacts.

  Any ideas on how I can get pictures of my contacts to sync properly with Facebook?

• Surface RT message hub and people say sync my facebook and twitter, but won't.

  When you access my new Surface RT with my real account I can't get Facebook or twitter for synchronization.  However, when using my girlfrends represent all of his stuff syncs perfectly and instantly.  Tried to remove and read the accounts and even using the windows 8 "Refresh" on mysurface just hours after purchase.

  Thanks for posting! If I understand correctly, you have problems with the sync Facebook account with Windows 8 Message and people about Correct me if I'm wrong.

  I suggest you follow these methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Follow these steps and run the network adapter troubleshooter.

  (a) press the Windows key + R, type Control Panel , and press ENTER.

  (b) type Troubleshooting, click on Troubleshooting.

  (c) click network and Internet, click network adapter.

  (d) follow the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

  Method 2:

  Uninstall the application Message, restart the system and then try to reinstall the application from the store.
  Follow these steps.

  (a) right click on the Message, click Uninstall.

  (b) press the Windows key + F, click Save.

  (c) click on Mail, calendar, people, and messaging App.

  (d) click on install.

  Note: Uninstall Message App will also Uninstall the Mail, calendar, people, and messaging applications.

  From the description, I understand that you need to sync Facebook with the application calendar in Windows 8.

  Unfortunately it is not possible to synchronize the Facebook calendar with approx. Win 8 calendar allows only calendars, Outlook, Hotmail, and Gmail to be synchronized.

  However I suggest you perform this workaround solution and check if it helps. You can import the facebook calendar in Windows Live Calendar and check if it works.

  1. Firstly, you have to copy the url to your facebook events (or anniversary) calendar of https://www.facebook.com/events/calendar.

  2. click on the wheel settings next to 'Today' in the right-hand corner, then click Export, then copy the URL for the calendar of events or birthdays (depending on what you want).

  3. Please go to your hotmail/windows live calendar (Calendar Windows Live). Click on 'subscribe' up to the top and you subscribe to a public calendar by adding the url that you copied from the facebook calendar.

  4. now the Windows live calendar now has your events facebook and next time you start the calendar in Windows 8, they should appear.

  Just synchronize the photo with my Facebook app and it took two of my albums (out of 30) and transferred to the unique mobile downloads as a jpg image file.  Facebook has correctly but the surface is not and I can't undo it.

• Contacts and Facebook update / sync

  I got married last Saturday, my wife has changed her last name on facebook, and I've changed changed its coordinates in Gmail, and yet my Droid still shows its former name.

  Stangely, his contact took his new picture from facebook, but he refuses to change the name.

  I divided the contacts, gmail displays correctly, facebook shows new image but old name, I tried to merge them back together in both direction, that the new name that old photo, no joy.

  Congratulations on the marriage!  I know it is a large number of measures aimed at getting something to work, but I have had many problems with facebook and found this to reset the whole facebook integration.  I would first go in facebook or on the facebook home screen, press menu, close the session.  After that you be disconnected, go to the phone home screen, press menu, settings, accounts and sync, and make sure that your facebook account is not listed there.  Remove your name from wifes from the contacts list.  Delete no problem now that the facebook integration is not.  Add him as the correct name, and then add all its info. This should give the contact and have the phone think it is someone else rather than modify the existing one.  Then I open facebook and log in again and it should sync and the correct name.  As I said, I had a lot of problems with facebook and sync and necessary most of the time I made a change any.  I really hope that's not too bad and works for you.

• Contacts do not sync with facebook

  I tried 'update all Contacts' and the search bar doesn't move no and says '0 Contacts updated' immediately.  I know that there are contacts that I just added are connected to facebook and on my other devices.  Twitter seemed to update correctly.  It's an Iphone versus 6 with latest updates.  Did a reset of all settings too.
