• iCloud Contacts disappear from Oultllo after updates

  After I have updated recently iCloud and Windows 10 (update of the anniversary) my iCloud Contacts disappeared from Outlook 2007, giving the following message appears in Outlook by clicking Contacts iCloud: "failed to open all the files. The information store could not be opened. "When clicking on tools-address book in Outlook, the following message appears:"unable to display the list of addresses. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened. It may have been deleted or you do not have permissions.

  Everything worked fine before the update and the address list is in my iCloud contact account and is accessible by my iPhone.

  I tried to export a vCard in iCloud for import in Outlook by going to the Menu Action to iCloud and selecting 'Select all' and then 'export vCard', but no window never opens in which name and save the file.

  As a last resort, I could probably restore the old file of Contacts if I knew where she stood in Outlook.

  I tried many suggestions but nothing worked. Someone has any idea how to restore the iCloud Contacts file in Outlook?

  See if it helps, - the set of folders could not be opened. The information store could not be opened.

  Late last fall, I realized that all my contacts disappeared from my iPhone 6. I had done a backup before a trip and all my music, photos, everything was still fine but I realized once I got to my destination that all contacts were missing in the Contacts menu when you click on the phone icon.

  Here's the confusing part - if I go to my Messages and open a new message, I can type the name of whoever I'm eager to get my hands on and their information displayed always up there, so of course, the coordinates are stored on my phone somewhere. So if I want to call them I just open a message, then click on their name to access their information and then to place a phone call. But of course, it is a roundabout way much more than just find in the Contacts menu.

  I don't know if I've changed a setting or done something when you back up my phone, or how it happened, but I hope someone here will know how can I restore the contacts on my Contacts page! I'm not sure if restoring from a previous backup will work as this happened if long ago and I don't want to ruin all my photos and music if I can avoid it.

  I saw an article online that suggested to create new contacts, based on the mail page, I can access the information there, but it would be a painful process. I can certainly do that if it's my only option, but I'm puzzled why the contacts do not appear in the mail and not in the Contacts menu.

  It seems that the contacts are hiding in iCloud and contacts for iCloud, on the device is off.

  Settings > iCloud > Contacts > Toggle on

  I have the same problem. It happens every time I reboot or close the application. I also have an iPhone 4 s the latest version of iOS. I need to remove and reinstall the app each time to retrieve them.

  Assuming you are using iCloud, in a browser go to icloud.com and connect and see if they are there.

  If they try to go into system preferences > iCloud and uncheck and recheck the Contacts. If not successful, disconnect from iCloud and reconnect

  Check iCloud.com and see if they are there. If so, your sign phone iCloud and sign back in. Ensure that the contacts are on settings > iCloud.

  If anyone can help get each of them to the main database of Contacts?

  OP here on an update:

  Make sure that you update your Skype on all devices and expect that all contacts back. Just give it some time, it took me about 5-6 hours

  Are you sure that you have selected View-> Sidebar compact view option? When this option is selected, the profile pictures are not displayed in the list of contacts.

  Erasure of data from the method you described does not BBM, BBM contacts contacts are stored in your BBID, which cannot be removed by deleting BBM data on an Android device.

  Can you please confirm that you are using the same BBID on Xperia Z2 that you used on the Z1 Xperia? When you open the BBM for the first time on the Xperia Z2, choose 'Connect' and enter the e-mail address and the password for the BBID you used on your old device.

• DROID: Contact disappearing act

  A few weeks ago most of my * phone * contacts suddenly disappear from the list (only 8 remain on a list of at least 50). I don't know exactly what the event was triggered the change but I can't get back them, even though I know they are always there. I know this for two reasons: when I receive a call or a text of a person in the list of contacts that are already visible, their name and picture appear and subsequently, I have access to the entry in the list recently called or e-mail application. Two, there are still a lot of contacts in my favorites and often called list that do not appear in the list of the main contacts. I'm not able to locate the invisible contacts in seeking, either. I have my list of contacts set to show only contacts with phones.

  Anyone know how to fix this?

  What Gmail groups you selected for display? Open contacts / menu / display options / select gmail / check which groups are selected.

  Also, when you go to accounts & Sync in the phone settings, make sure that the Gmail contacts are always selected for synchronization.

  I also connect to gmail on your PC and watch how your contacts are organized. The contacts created on the Droid are automatically saved to my Contacts, so this group should be displayed on the Droid.

  Copy the path and paste it into go the folder in the Finder (menu go).

  ~/Library/application support/AddressBook

  Click OK

  When the AddressBook folder opens, find these three files and delete them.

  • address book - v22.abcddb
  • AddressBook - v22.abcddb - shm
  • AddressBook - v22.abcddb - wal

  Open Contacts and see if your contacts are re-populated.

  Bought a new laptop 2 days ago. Today, after that I downloaded Skype and signed my usual username and password, my contact list was not there!
  
  When I connect to Skype on my phone hoewever, everything is in place.

  Have you tried to Quit and re - open Skype?
